  1. Nice use of these colors! Great bustle in the streets and I really like the pose on the guy fishing!
  2. Yes, we need to get our act together! Unfortunately I'm away from my bricks right now.
  3. This is every bit as lovely a build as it was when I commented on Flickr. I have to mention the blue again - those colors complement the tans so well! Great use of those new three leaved stems too.
  4. This is really funny! Now you need an army of them.
  5. @Khorne - I'm on board with your take on ESL for sure. United Provinces inspiration was what @Garmadon and I started with originally. And then since they don't have an instantly recognizable military look (in so far as they did, it was similar to Spain), it made sense to tack on the conquistador style (especially since there are LEGO pieces for that). Besides we obviously didn't want a 1:1 correlation with a real-world empire. I don't think Venice was something either of us thought of to begin with. It may have inspired some builds here and there but doesn't seem to have a reflection in the faction generally. I see us as more blunt Dutch traders than smooth Venetian bankers.
  6. The cobblestone looks great, nice collection of eggs too.
  7. I'm really digging the combination with brown and red, although I don't think tan goes as well as white would have. But still some very nice Tudor and a clean looking house!
  8. Very cool idea with a map built onto a raised floor like that! I also really like the way you did the arches over the doors, might have to borrow that sometime!
  9. Great job capturing a wintry feel here. The tan and black really go well with the snow.
  10. Great idea to make this round, and you've got quite a lot of skeletons too!
  11. Great interior, the stripe of dark green looks really nice and I like the idea of making the second floor easily removable. The stove is really clever too, was that printed piece designed for that or did you come up with it?
  12. Neat idea to tilt the tower a little this time. The updated vegetation also looks fabulous!
  13. Pretty sure a moderator would need to do that. But I don't think you need to worry about it. (But yeah, usually if you post something like this in the GoH forum you'd be a guild member and post in your guild's thread asking for opinions. You should check out the guilds though if you haven't yet!)
  14. Like Garmadon I got hooked on the bellows. Really nice design! But the roof and the weapon rack both look great as well.
  15. You might take a look at the instructions for the LEGO Ideas Tree House. Those rooms had a fairly clever octagon - wedge plates for the larger octagon (the platforms) and then hinge bricks for the smaller octagon (the walls).
  16. Thanks Keymonus!
  17. That's definitely way too many lightsaber bars. The lighting is beautiful!
  18. So cute! Great job with the different poses.
  19. Nice additions, good pictures too! I like the use of the gold leaves on the stern.
  20. Another top notch pagoda - just love how many of those square windows you've used! The peg legs on the railing are fun and I love the subtle curve of each roof section!
  21. Very bold pagoda with those red stripes on the roof. Great job with the gold highlights too.
  22. Really nice job Capt Wolf, especially on the torii - the simple, single color look fits in very well with the rest of the scene!
  23. This is a great pagoda, perfect use of grill tiles and nice job on the foundation too. Good call to leave some studs exposed - both on the roof and around the building.
  24. The way you did the street really stands out here, but there's some good texture on that building too!
