  1. Welcome to GoH, great introduction and nice fig!
  2. If I remember correctly, that one just had the first three. At least if you're referring to the 2011 DVD sent out in Nov-Dec that year. (I don't believe there have been any Club DVDs since then).
  3. No problem! I'm destined never to have a title...
  4. I sincerely doubt it's more than one piece, it certainly doesn't look like it and it is the same one used for Tonto in the Lone Ranger theme, so looking at those picture, no, I'm almost positive it doesn't come apart.
  5. The helmet is the same, but, as others have mentioned, the red crest is removable and new. As far as why everyone likes him, well, I'm not sure everyone does, but it's because he's awesome!
  6. This is the (long overdue) part two of The Molten Rock. When I awoke, everything around me had changed. I sat up - the rocks, the shooting light, the pool of lava - all was gone. Instead I was in a room that looked like it could have been a king's hall, so ornate and huge was it. I glanced around me nervously - yes, he was there, advancing slowly to a golden shrine, which held the red diamond - and three more diamonds, its counterparts. What was going on? I wondered. My foe advanced slowly, as though something was holding him back - something he was struggling against, an invisible hand that prevented him. My mind flew back to a decade ago, and suddenly I remembered that only when the order of the crystals was changed - changed to a specific order - would the energy released be too much for the world. I did not know the order, but then I had been merely an apprentice, just learning the rudiments. He, on the other hand, had advanced to the top... I had always respected him - what had changed him? My thoughts passed quick as lightning, yet the seconds dragged on. He was hesitating, and the portal behind us seemed to whisper, "Don't do it, come back, return!" I held my breath - I wanted to say something, but no words came out of my mouth. And then, quickly, as one who had made a resolve, and wished to follow it without delay - afraid of changing once again - he turned, and the portal swallowed him up, leaving me to follow in his footsteps. I had wanted to try out using those Ninjago shoulder brackets, and was in the mood for something dramatic (and I didn't see how a building drive that had to do with the postal service would possibly let me do something to finish the story...), so here's the second part of the end of the world (sort of), I hope you enjoy it! (Oh, and next time remind me to write the story or at least have a few ideas before building!) Another picture here, comments are welcome! (My apologies if it's not exactly action themed, but since it's the second part I figured it should go in the same Forum.)
  7. @Penkid11 BTW, Ska are you on MOCpages?
  8. @Ska, I don't think there was an actual date for free-build points, just a general "end of April, maybe". Personally, I won't have any trouble making the deadline (the old one, and of course, not the new one either), but I hope we do get some more builds as a result! Actually though, if we were just talking about guild gold, I'm pretty sure you could get more for three free-builds than for the challenge.
  9. Is is necessary that the vig be on a square base, or is the requirement that the bottom stud count not exceed 64? (eg, a 4x16, or something irregular, not a quadrilateral?)
  10. Yes... sort of... and if they aren't, that would mean it's your chance to shine! Here's a list of some of nocty's members who have been at least a little active during the last two months or so (scroll down, Mitgardia is first).
  11. Nice work! The irregular base is very neat, and both the wood structures are well done! The water does look a bit mixed up though, like the light blue and clear got mixed together. Great rockwork though, nice build!
  12. I'm up for it, though if you would want to just say DM won (since he was in the lead for a long time), that's fine with me.
  13. You got a pretty sweet team... hahahaha yes you do! I'm in the MOCathalon too though I'll probably be just as active here!
  14. @GCF (hope you don't mind the abbreviation), I wouldn't exactly say that Crominus and Crunket haven't done anything evil... maybe not technically speaking, but they were ready to go to war against the lions with the vaguest of excuses, and the entire conversation with Lagravis after Craggers first taste of Chi betrayed the fact that they submitted to the lions simply because they didn't think they had any choice.
  15. Ah, well, I was close on the guild hall... and I got the kitchen right! Oh, yes, stairs! You aren't actually going to build the second floor though are you? If so... well, I could see that turning out awesome!
  16. Yeah, that might be the case. If that's so, I'd say South Room and Arsenal/Armory.
  17. I'd say GH stands for Guilds of Historica too, except that you you left out the o. Hmm... Wait up. Let's think first; you've done two, now you need an interior... Yes! I got it! Guild Hall, and - well, we'll skip the SA for now. K stands for Kitchen, of course, H for Hall - unless that's an I? (If that's the case you got Issac Snyder running down there) A... apartment? you know, as in room, though why it's not an R is beyond me. And that would make SA south apartment... Well, I probably went wrong somewhere along the line, but I'm very pleased I got the K and GH right (unless of course I didn't...)
  18. No, I wasn't trying to say that you were demanding in that comment, just in regard to "Mitgardia's Style". But seriously a final round isn't a bad idea, though a slightly different subject - still with a Defender of the Weak theme - would be good.
  19. Those Mitgardians, always demanding everything...
  20. Nice job! Did I forget to mention that when I journeyed through Mitgardia? You could use a bit more grass work there, but I'm always short on foliage myself so that's easy to understand. And as far as the water being higher, well, that's probably why the barn thing is raised off the ground... Like the rock work especially though!
  21. I have finished my first and third Challenge VI builds, and I'm very close to done with the second (interior), so I will likely be done next week (I do need to write the story. And it did occur to me that I could use my first build as a prelude and build another one...) Anyway, here is a teaser - it's possible I suppose that I would change the name depending on how the story plays out, but I've already got it fairly well outlined in my mind, so this will probably be it: You're welcome to speculate on the storyline, I think it will end up pretty unique... (but then don't we all?)
  22. I think you misconstrued what I was trying to say; of course I know there's going to be a gold chase fig in this series, I was just drawing attention to the fact that, as far as I know, this is the first we've seen it. Anyway, my thoughts on the series: Librarian - Well I'm just not a fan of that hair. Torso and pants look like they could come in handy for a town/city setting, and I really need a book one of these days, even if it does say Oranges and Peaches (a play on Origin of the Species eh? HaHa... fitting actually...), and the white cup with the "word" Shh... Two white cups in this series, apparently! Painter - Love that hat, neat roller and the body is nice too. I'm not sure about the head though, would be nice to see it IRL or at least a picture of it. Warrior - Hmm. I could see the torso and legs combo being useful, and that spear is sweet, but the face, really... shield is pretty neat though. I'd like a better view of that. Old Sea Captain - Seagull! Black binoculars are nice, and the overall fig looks great! Love this one! Baseball Player - Awesome fig, but minimal usefulness, just because of the genre I build in most of the time. Still, I like it! B&W Clown - Seriously, he's pretty cute! Would go well with the mime, and I could see the black ruff coming in handy... Girl - Well, not a fan of this one, mainly because of the hair cut. I do like the dog though. Gold Fig - Not that great, though the top hat might be useful. Mechanic - A nice casual suit, but other than that (the headgear mainly), a bit plain. I could see the fire on his arm working as a wound or scar though... Old Grandpa - Quite a nice fig! Love the paper and a bald wig (if you know what I mean) is great! Indian - Looks great, IMO. IDK, I just like painted faces I guess... Paintball Player - I've never played paintball, so it doesn't have that appeal to me, and as far as the fig itself - he just needs a better face! Roman Centurion - Awesome! My favorite of the series. Love the torso, helmet red plumes, legs, fantastic face, and those short swords are always useful. Medusa - Yikes! As they say, if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all... Sky Diver - What an expression! Can't say I'm a fan of the lime green color scheme, but overall a nice fig. Bee Girl - Hmm. Certainly my least favorite of the suited guys - and now gals, but the wings might be useful. Colonial Soldier - Well, I'm not sure your average ordinary solder would be wearing a wig, but don't get me wrong, this is an awesome fig anyways! Kind of a shame it's the same brown rifle mold, as I never liked that one two much, but the rest makes up for that!
  23. Awesome! Loving some of those accessories! Look at that wig! And is that the golden fig? Interesting! Black binoculars? Yes! Love the seagull and the Centurion's face is awesome!
  24. I think Cragger will go good, just not until the end. Come on, it's the typical main-bad-guy-turned-bad-against-his-will-but-still-sort-of-likes-his-enemies-and-at-the-end-the-real-evil-ones-will-be-destroyed-and-he'll-be-good-again thing we saw with Lord Garmadon in Ninjago. But of course it wouldn't make sense for him to turn good anytime soon, and I doubt Crooler has the influence to rule the Croc tribe while Cragger is alive - if Cragger were to go good, the Crocs would follow.
  25. Great job! Lots of neat touches like the bear and goats, and the jousting area is very well done! Great shape for the roof too!
