Nice job! Great layering for the cave, like Ska, I'm impressed by the way you managed to get the SNOT and vertical to merge so seamlessly! Ageven has received the message and replied, I hope the Crocodile king will have it delivered to you speedily!

Looks great NM! Here is a teaser for my Challenge VI (first build): As you can probably tell, Kaflar is a big character for my next few builds (though he won't be standing so alone there, just for the teaser!). And Ska, here is my character sent to go to the coordinates at the end of your letter: (He's actually not Kaliphlinian, but I gave him the colors anyways...) Edit: And SK's post just reminded me, it's fine if he dies... -

Great job, this turned out really nice! I like the cleanness of the walls, and the stonecutter's area looks awesome! Love the wooden details, and impressive army! Great story too! -
Thanks! Yeah, there are some pretty great stories coming out of this! Thanks, Erikur and DM! Thanks, I'm actually surprised at how well the beams turned out!

Thanks!

Personally, my favorites would be the Gatehouse raid and the Forest Ambush; they both have some nice pieces. Interesting that the Ambush uses 1x1 round gold tiles rather than coins, though I really can't say which I'd prefer...

The stagecoach and Colby City Shootout look great, and so does the Silver Mine... Really great that the stagecoach is just $30, I think I'll certainly be able to get it at that price! Also nice that the crow is detachable! Can't wait to get a couple! (One good thing about having Tonto in almost every set...)

Great vig, the way you buried the treasure is perfect! What happened to the lead on the diver's feet though? And the crab and starfish are great touches!

Another death in Historica... how far will Revolword be able to carry this?

Thanks Kabel, GoH has really helped me improve! Something like that... Thanks, I was actually surprised they fit that well. Especially after all the trouble I've had with other square windows...

Very good looking WIP Ecc! Can't wait to see it finished! Love all the wall details so far! I'm with Legonardo, dark chocolate is the best though there are some nice and creamy milk chocolates too... On the subject, funny how the Mitgardian thread has turned into what-kind-do-you-like-best food thread,,, -
30 pounds. I'm hoping that converts into $30 USD, but who knows...

Guilds of Historica Character Location and Facts

Thanks! Would that make Da Maximus Lord of Kaliphlin cheese? -
Thanks guys! Hmm, yeah, maybe the Jarl wasn't killed... guess that's what happens when you write in a hurry!

Guilds of Historica Character Location and Facts

Thanks! Except for myself, I'm now about as caught up as I can get without help from those of you who are missing details, so if you do decide where your character is, please tell me! -
Nice job! I like the bottom story pattern and the dark red roof looks good! Nice ranger fig too!

Added! Is your character in a specific place right now? -
Thanks! Yeah, I'm not sure whether to kill the king too or what to do about that... Edit: Reading what I wrote, I did say "after the kings death". Well we'll go with that and say he'd dead... most likely. Thanks!

I hope I don't interrupt the discussion, but here's my entry for the mini-challenge: Escape from Cedrica -
Here's my entry! Escape from Cedrica
-
"Victor is coming! He will soon take the city! No one is safe!" Kaflar hurried through the streets of Cedrica, pulling his coat closer around him and ignoring the cries of the distracted citizens. The ice cold wind, unusual for such a season, seemed to be in sympathy with the state of the country, for it blew through the streets, howling out that there was danger on the horizon. It was true, Kaflar knew, Victor Revolword had amassed an army and was moving toward Cedrica. But that was not what Kaflar feared - Cedrica was strong, her soldiers were brave - what was there to fear? No, it was the cunning of Victor that he feared - his uncanny ability to take over in an underhand fashion - and if Cedrica, the pride of the guilds, fell, what would be left? He redoubled his pace, but every step beat out the words, "The King is in danger, the King is in danger..." He wasn't sure how, or why, but a strange sense of foreboding was creeping over him. Ageven received the news calmly - indeed he had been expecting it - but acted with promptitude. He himself, with Kaflar and Gad, arranged matters for their hiding, in the event of the city being taken by stratagem or force, in the home of an old merchant, who's young son, Gedius, was burning to go and fight. Raz and Azc were meanwhile instantly dispatched to the king's palace, to confirm any rumors they might have heard. The wind had only deepened in intensity and ferocity; it swept through the streets with a terrible vengeance, threatening to drag Azc off his feet more than once. They entered the palace quietly, through a side door and for a few breathless moments waited, listening It was quiet - too quiet, even. Raz under a sudden fear lest they be too late, sprang up the stairs, followed instantly by Azc. Without waiting to explain their business to anyone - indeed they saw no one - Raz went straight to the throne room, bursting in suddenly on a scene that confirmed his worst fears. Even as the door flew open a cry rang out, and the King's son fell to the ground. Azc did not wait for more; dragging Raz out with him, he turned toward the stairs, hoping they had not been seen. Outside the palace, Azc paused for breath. "Cedrica has fallen," Raz groaned. "There is nothing left but to go in hiding as soon as possible - or, better yet, to leave at once." Azc nodded, and they made their way through the streets, strangely quiet now, for the wind had gone down - it was the calm before the storm, the storm that would shake Historica to it's foundations, the storm that would force either Revolword or Historica to it's knees. For the week, all five stayed in hiding, not daring to show their face as Victor's hoards raged rampant throughout the city. Bad news poured in - the Jarl was dead, Dugal MacLean had fallen in the defense of Queenscross... Ageven knew they must leave as soon as possible. And so, seven days after the King's death, they snuck out of the city, accompanied by Gedius, who had volunteered for the mission Dugal left. This is my entry into the Kaliphlin Mini-challenge (guess I did kind of wait until the last minute...), comments are welcome! It's also the last story build before my Challenge VI, so it will work as a prelude as well.

It's actually the detailed point system that struck me as a few too many rules - though it does make it easier for the leaders since they don't have to grade an MOC, just count it. But then, that does kind of take away incentive to do the best you can. And it is a bit hard to navigate (though, EB cost me some getting used to as well, so I may just not be the best and finding my way around forums...). @MK, Legends of Brickdom ( ) is Flickr based, so there was one group that got disbanded but now another one has been started. But if CC isn't as easy to get around in, Flickr is worse (no go to newest post!), so though I've checked it out I figured GoH and LCC was enough... plus, they seem to have even more rules... Double posts actually merge unless it's been several hours (and now I'm afraid this won't merge...) - but yes, I guess I still haven't got the colors in my build yet... (I will get them in though. But the nice thing is you don't actually have to have the flag, just the colors). -
I agree, there doesn't seem to be a skunk tribe or a fox tribe, like you mentioned, and I doubt there will be a Rhino tribe either. After all, if someone does want a whole bunch of those animals, they can army build them, and it would really be hard on collectors to have 11+ tribes with 4+ figs each!

Yeah, I probably wouldn't have flown nearly as much if it weren't that my parents are missionaries. That's given me about 5 flights every 4 years or so... -

If you're having trouble with the Flickr limit, I'd suggest you try to re-size your images, I do that and am rarely over... (I do have the holiday gift right now, but even before that I didn't have trouble after re-sizing. Anyway... yeah, I think there are several GoH LCCers... and the nice thing about GoH as opposed to LCC is there seem to be less rules. It might not be quite as realistic (more non-human creatures here, I think), but it's nice! And of course, GoH does take priority for me too. Though, as long as I a building, might as well as kill two birds with one stone... And, while I'm here, I've finished the build part of that MOC, so I should be able to photograph it Monday... though GoH might not see it for a while anyways...
