  1. What a lovely way to do stars! The purple and dark blue is also a wonderful sky combination that I'll have to keep in mind. Neat tree technique too, not one I recall seeing before!
  2. Lovely little fort, I really like those slanted walls. That's a great palm tree technique too.
  3. That first shot is fantastic, wonderful editing and really great angle and posing. I love how much you got out of a pretty small MOC. That's something I try to do often and you're inspiring me to up my game!
  4. This is really neat, love the way the white stripes look and I'm quite impressed by the interior you managed to squeeze into such a tiny space!
  5. This is some of the best of this kind of stained glass I've seen in LEGO, excellent blend of colors! The lit fireplace is also a really nice touch and I love the low angle and the short focus.
  6. Garmadon, Kai NRG and Captain Braunsfeld proudly present: The Story so far: Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 Chapter 6 Chapter 7 Chapter 8 You are at Chapter 9: The Count Subverts the Council Last we saw Count Lewisham, he was enjoying his new offices nearer the Colonial Council. That, and sending Jimmy to deliver a very important letter that probably didn't get where it was supposed to go. Today, we get a glimpse of him in situ, now acting in his official capacity of Admius Legistrad and looking extremely dignified. But while the Count is busy looking dignified, Timmy and Jimmy are doing some less dignified work... Timmy: I understand you need funding for your next voyage to find the elixir of life? Anonymous Council Member: Pshaw, the elixir of life is a myth, sir! It's the fountain of youth that I seek to find! Timmy: Just so, and this ring will help you with that I'm sure... say, have you taken a look at the Count's new bill proposal yet? Throughout the council room, council members are enjoying the Count's gifts. In this artist's interpretation of the scene, minifigures have been disguised to protect the guilty. From his post as Admius Legistrad Count Lewisham watches benevolently and plans his next move... While I was photo editing this one I thought to regret not having put a chandelier or something to make the top half more interesting. Oh well, it's long since destroyed! Speaking of photo editing, there's a lot of that in this one! If you care to see the full, unedited creation: Hope you've enjoyed the Count's continuing shenanigans. What will he be up to next?
  7. The mix of colors on the roof here is pretty sweet. I also enjoy the way the lavender and olive show against the nougat wall!
  8. The trans-clear tiles look so good here! Good call with the brown border too. Also despite having a healthy dislike for fleshies, I think they work well in this setting, not distracting from the nougat and dark orange clays.
  9. Some fascinating patterns here! I especially like that rug. for the Petraea University credits!
  10. I love the way the blue and red colors attract the eye, makes for a very cool ship! Great catapult arrow thing on top too!
  11. Action doesn't have to be violent! Theme: Winnie-the-Pooh (I first built a nice canopied tree with tons of overhang... oh well! That version'll be on my Instagram soon.)
  12. Brothers! I did not see that coming. Great twist! So many fun touches too like the cactus and the squirrel
  13. Those torsos are gorgeous! I especially love the dark green ones and not just because green is Eslandola's color. Lovely building too. I really like your technique of doing a little bit of light grey at the bottom and then starting the white, going to have to try that sometime.
  14. Lovely little camp. Very impressed by how smooth they managed to get those bumpy palm stems.
  15. Really neat corner building, I love the nougat tiles on the bottom story! Creative use of shutters on the tower too!
  16. She's a beauty! Great idea to take advantage of the waterline and build your hull sloping out toward it. The water is lovely too.
  17. Power to the king!! But advertising money from Count Lewisham. Best of both worlds! The signs are fun. Neat window design too!
  18. Love this covered wagon design! Great colors too, the olive, nougat, and dark tan work super well with those sky blues and the bright orange birch trees!
  19. Quite clever to use the back of a centaur there! Great little stables, I always enjoy seeing new animals in builds too!
  20. Love the spice of exotic color in this build, those teal turntable bases look fantastic! I'm also enjoying the details, the camel stable, the well, the texture on the tower with the grill bricks, to name a few.
  21. That was unexpected! But now who knows who the assassin is? Will we ever find out? Those green torsos are pretty cool. And squirrel!
  22. Oh my! These little soldiers are so cute! What a fun idea. Nice use for those shutters too.
  23. Such a good use of yellowed bricks here! A lovely fort, great vegetation around it, really a MOC that I can stare at and enjoy for several minutes!
  24. Thanks! Yes, totally. Someone should add it to the ESL thread lore so builders use it every now and then. (I would myself, but I do not seem to have superpowers anymore )
  25. It's been a while since I've seen that scattered water technique, I'd forgotten just how good it looks! Great job with the blend of light and dark grey stone, and I also really like the dark blue rowboat. The ship is quite a beauty too, super smooth curve and a lovely color scheme!
