  1. I love how well you are using these tooth pieces--I have had so many sitting around for so long and done just nothing with them! Great round stone pattern too and the half-cut house is a fascinating cool shape.
  2. Great to see some hype! I think we should have something to build for soon.
  3. That's a vicious looking head, really neat idea for the entrance to a troll hideaway!
  4. This is so beautifully well integrated with the base! Many great details, I especially like the little village and the boats.
  5. What a brilliant way to use those light orange tooth pieces! The windshield fall is very clever too and I like how bright and cheerful the lime feels.
  6. Congrats to the winners! Thanks to everyone who participated. Garmadon and I will be in touch with the winners regarding their prizes. Also, let us have the monkeys nudge @Captain Braunsfeld some more so we can see the second place winner of Category B, who also gets a prize! (Which, I must admit, was my fault for forgetting when I compiled the winners. )
  7. Those blue pillars are quite striking. I kind of like the way they work with the red. How clever of the marquis to bring a detective along. But what we all really want to know: where did the vase go? It's not there in the last picture!
  8. I like how realistic the variety of colors on these buildings are. The sand green bottom is even a little ugly with the white and dark orange, but it fits great with the overall MOC and makes it feel real. The subtle angles on the buildings are perfect. And I've spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out if that front palm tree is connected to the base in some magical way or is just defying gravity on its own. But why fleshies?!?
  9. You have three hours left... well, 2 hrs 57 minutes, to be precise.
  10. Sweet coffee house, the green really pops against the brown and makes for a great contrast color!
  11. Such beautifully detailed figs!
  12. Neat use of those binocular pieces for the top of the pillars! I also like the height this vignette has with the drainage system underneath. Great entry!
  13. Come to think of it, I believe I have an internal memo... probably from Captain B... somewhere stating that it is Louis. Louis Lewisham, Count: LL,C. Alright enough of that. Sorry for hijacking your thread here, omnihash.
  14. Ooh, this is a lovely castle style "refuge" --the black and dark red are super cool and I love the raised baseplate. I also really like the rope ladders and stuff. Really fun build. I think this story is introducing a new character, so Count Lewisham is Joshua (new character)'s uncle. Nothing to do with the famous "Uncle" who "rescued" Count Lewisham in order to go hang him by his toes from a palm tree. Though I admit I briefly read it the other way and was wondering if I had named Count Lewisham Joshua at some point.
  15. A great vignette and I really enjoyed your write-up too. Almost makes me wish for the council... wait, what am I saying?!?
  16. A bunch of rowdy young apprentices have heard that there's a new excuse in town to make angry speeches on upside-down crates and paste unartistic signs along crumbling walls! For King Fernando! A little something to show support for the king and also to try out this stone technique. It's pretty flimsy but kind of looks nice! Had some fun editing the signs in too.
  17. Hilarious way to describe a gang of pigs, by the way.
  18. Great colorful and bustling marketplace! I also like the birch trees and the extra fat pigs. Unfortunately though the rules for Category B say it's supposed to be 32x32. Since this is digital, maybe you could cut off some of the edges and do a render of the 32x32 studs that you would like to be judged?
  19. This is such a fun idea and totally the way political leaders should prove themselves. I love the green tinted water and the croc is perfectly shaped.
  20. Last week in Nova Terreli, two men no one had ever seen before appeared in the street. They were handing out free donuts and cookies and encouraging everyone to vote for Count Lewisham. Everyone who saw them enjoyed the donuts and was sure they had never seen them before. But then along came a bobby. He thought he recognized these two men under their long beards. "Good afternoon, friend," the bobby said. "I'm Frank--it's nice to meet you." The guy with shaggy hair laughed and said, "I'm James!" The guy with shaggier hair said, "I'm Thomas!" The bobby nodded, his suspicions confirmed. He glanced down at a wanted poster that had floated across the cobblestones. Thomas cleared his throat. "Wouldn't you like a cookie?" The bobby smiled and took out his handcuffs. James said, "Have a donut!" The bobby jingled his handcuffs. Thomas said, "Seriously, have a donut." And this is why the Nova Terreli police force supports Count Lewisham. Just a fun little something for Count Lewisham's side in the ESL challenge.
  21. Welcome to the greatest guild! Looking forward to seeing your adventures unfold. PS. You can embed your photos into your post by using the BBCode which you can find under the "Share Photo" option on Flickr. The code should look like this: [url=https://flic.kr/p/2nGGZSy][img=https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52312843672_c8f83b4787.jpg][/url][url=https://flic.kr/p/2nGGZSy]Trevidor of Kaliphlin[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/90467840@N08/]Dragondiamond[/url], on Flickr
  22. Aha! This is the reappearance we've all been waiting for... well, this and the assassin. I love the torsos for those grenadiers. Also a great simple ESL flag design!
