Thanks for sharing! There appears to be a couple of buildings not based on any previous pirate set on the Imperial Guard branch. Now wouldn't it be nice if they finally released those harbour buildings we were requesting decade before last...

Hmmmmm... the MOC itself seems decent but at the expense of sounding harsh, it will need much better photography if is to succeed on LEGO Ideas. Also, no minifgures will be a deal-breaker for a lot of people. So there's a some work to be done to bring the presentation up to standard, but a fine ship nonetheless.

[OL-Ch2A] Fort in Astrapi, Île de Zeus
Mister Phes replied to Gideon's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
At the expense of bumping an older topic... just letting @Gideon know his fort has made it to the Classic Pirates social media! -
And the LEGO Group would never ever consider replacing the chrome parts with non-Chrome parts to make production more feasible?

Just larger images will do... Also, the problem with the below image is the superfluous white space to the right and beneath the MOC. Is it possible to centre the MOC and minimize the whitespace?

And we appreciate you posting it!

Good work, Roadmonkey - let's spread the dread!

[ESL-FB] Ship : The Flying Apple
Mister Phes replied to Tezclatipoca's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Very good, @Faladrin! I have posted this on the Classic Pirates Social Media. There has been some commentary on your MOC via the Facebook page. Michael Pepping writes: "How did you get those green and white sails? That looks great" -
Yes, very nice ship! However, are there higher resolution images available? I'd post the ship on the Classic-Pirates Social Media but the social media prefers images to be 1080x1080. We're falling short quite a bit of that...

Awesome work, @Bob De Quatre - this is a very fine skull island! I have posted your MOC on the Classic-Pirates Social Media so it may travel far and wide.

I shall move the topic for ye!

What a fine captain he is! Although this topic seems to have been posted in the wrong forum so I'll move it to the Pirate MOC Forum.

New LEGO Awesome Activity Book with Pirate minifigure
Mister Phes replied to TalonCard's topic in LEGO Pirates
Oh hell yeah! But the shipping costs would be prohibitive. -
Awwwwwww damn! The way you phrased "if these 2020 Pirate set rumors are true, and the Green Coats are featured" it somewhat seemed you were implying you'd heard rumours about the green coats being featured. But perhaps I was undermining the use of the comma.

I know of this problem all too well... I'm at a point at which I don't think I can fit anything else in... boxed or otherwise. This will be quite troubling in an entire wave of pirate sets were to be released. What rumours? Tell us everything you know!
-
You're welcome! As for you layout... What do you mean you've removed the green faction aka mighty Imperial Armada? How could this be!
-
Thank you for posting this update, @Captain Pirate Man! I've shared it on the Classic-Pirates Facebook Page.

Did he elaborate further upon what this "big way" might be or was he shushed too soon? I might be a bit late to the party here, but... are these the pictures ye be referring to? Pictures taken from @LEGOAustralia Facebook page,

The 1MB limit is intended to prevent members from uploading large files and thus consuming too much hosting space and server bandwidth. You can shrink your images to reduce their file size. A width of 1200px wide should be more than sufficient for the forum. If you don't have access to image editing software you can use web based editors such as: resizeimage.net picresize.com simpleimageresizer.com
