  1. I am loving the vegetation and the shoreline, LJ. And the way those two guards are looking at each other in disbelief is priceless
  2. As others have said, great blood! Would have given approval if I had the powers
  3. Snakes on a "plain"? Nice build! (However, remember to include your faction in the title next time )
  4. Great build - I really like how it looks from the outside! The inside is a little bit too rectangular, which makes it look a little too "Legoish" if that makes any sence. Nice story too, although I would hate to have to read it out loud with all those names! For the High Council!
  5. This incursion cannot go unpunished - Those raiders shall be captured, prosecuted and punished for their actions! Nice build, Garmadon - I like the wagon and the posing.
  6. This. Is. Brilliant!! The build reminds me conceptually, whilst visually very different, of the Ishtar Gate. And what a brilliant turn of events to bring Petera and Dugal back on the same side, fighting for the High Council. You really have great story writing skills! I just hope the High Council has not lost too many supporters in this attack!
  7. Those manbats are giving me the creeps! Cool build and nice use of those printed panels
  8. Caught between a rock and a hard place! The Garrison of Knightsbridge will be remember in the Annals of history for their ravery and sense of duty! Those barbarious murderers sent by Ulandus and the Desert King disrespected the neutrality of Knightsbridge and their foul deeds shall not be easily forgiven. At least Petera gave them what they deserved! For the High Council! This is an amazing build and a great story to go with it - really sets the scene for how the High Council is brought into the war - This attack cannot be tolerated!
  9. I understand your worry, Maxim. But on the other hand, since Stedor is a 2 point zone, I assume it would require 2 (out of four) guerilla attacks to beat the counter attacks in order for control to be shifted. And we, the mighty High Council, would of course do our utmost to beat it back with EPIC counterbuilds, since it is such a strategic point. You may at least count on my humble support. *bows*
  10. @Gedren_y I wholeheartedly agree here. @Maxim & Jacob I will still enjoy doing counterbuilds, even when it is against one of the "elite" You still get points, and it is part of the story, so I think you need'ent worry. Further, I don't see the problem with multiple counterbuilds. If you guerilla build is of high quality and with a cool idea/story, it will be hard to counter, even though many try to do so. Further - we are not THAT many "players" so I really do not think it will be a problem. It is not the amount of counterbuilds that matters, it is, as I wrote above, whether the quality and the idea is good enough to counter the effect of the guerilla build.
  11. The counters will be linked to a specific guerrilla build, as it has to mirror and undo the effects of the guerilla build. So - is guerilla action A sufficiently countered by the linked counter guerillas? If not, it will win. And similarly with B. I think that clarifies it a little - however, I think the quality of the build(s) should be the basis for voting - did the counter guerillas undo the effects of the original? (With quality and imagination) That will be how I vote :)
  12. This is a great build - you have just the right amount of details to make it look realistic. On top of that, it is a great alternative to the "standard" stone castles so prominent in Avalonia. I can't wait to see more of your lands!
  13. A few questions for clarification: 1) The build that wins, guerilla or counter, gets 6 points? Or is the 6 points only for a succesful guerilla build, while the counter side is "only" awarded as below for winning? 2) If the counter wins, everyone on the counter-guerilla team will get 1 point, or just the ones that put up a counter? (I am a bit concerned that too many points for the opponents would deter people from doing guerilla builds.) Seconded.
  14. Just a quick question: No points towards ranks for this minichallenge?
  15. Nice - ruins and vegetation looks nice, but the posing and figures steals the show here. (Although I can't quite get myself to root for the manbats over the Leoparders... )
  16. That is a lot of action in a very small space, Lord Dan The double cape of one of your figs kind of make me think of a jetengine strapped to his back Too bad you are betting on the wrong horse, but hopefully we Avalonians wil be able to settle our differences when this war is over!
  17. Thanks all, glad you like it! I think these warzone descriptions are great for inspiration It was a hard build to get the angles right in, as the cliffside, vegetation and palm blocks a lot of angles...
  18. Another great instalment to the story, which will warrant a second read later! Can't praise this challenge and the great work put into it enough!
  19. Hi Hammerhand - Ska said elsewhere that the counter guerilla builds should stay within the size of the guerilla build being countered, but I don't think there is any limit on the size of the guerilla build. As to your second question, it is my understanding that it should counter the effect of the guerilla attack and somewhat mirror the build, but the minifigs do not need to be the same. I am sure Ska will clear this up for us, though.
  20. Cool retinue, Sir Gillian - Looking forward to seeing your story and settlement evolve!
  21. I was wondering when the minichallenge builds would start ticking in! Great little build - I like the vegetation and how you have hidden the assassin amongst the undergrowth.
  22. Welcome amongst our ranks, Sir Gillian! I really like your intro, and those soldiers are looking great! However, we are still missing an intro of your sig fig!
  23. Basicly, yes. However, if the chosen zone is worth more than 1 victory point, you will not be able to capture it without the support of others. And in this great setup by Skaforhire, I think we are all a kind of noob ;) //Bregir
  24. Very nice action, Alfadas! The pictures are a bit grainy, though. Your battle posing is great!
