  1. Nice counter! I was wondering how this would be countered. (My idea was to build some sort of garden, where that "city" the monster is attacking was merely a miniature. Aka - the monster was also just a miniature )
  2. Cute little build - Good to see that the "Frozen beyond" storyline is still continuing!
  3. I can only echo what others have said - this is beautiful, amazing and absolutely stunning! It is really nice to see Nocturnus fleshed out, including a civilian side! (Especially in the midst of this civil war frenzy! )
  4. Beautiful build, Marcu - I really like the architecture and the fact that there are details to appreciate everywhere! I do agree that venturing to kill the Desert King may be a bit over the top, but it doesn't explicitly state that that is what is happening. I am going to interpret it as if they are attacking the leader of Sultan's Gate.
  5. Great continuation, Garmadon - I am wondering whereto they are headed! But I am sure Marcu's build will show me that! Lovely posing!
  6. Beautiful build, Kai! Ulandus is surely giving the Desert King a run for his money! The wall is beautiful and the story is fun! I really like the instruments too
  7. Great war zone - Again! Great work on rethinking the war zone for another battle. And I like the alternative, non-lethal approach - I am looking forward to seeing what traps we will see
  8. Thanks all - I think this is my first "baseless" build, which was fun to try too. It was a bit hard to get the shaping (and structural integrety) on the boat right, so I am no quite sure it would work on a bigger ship, but in any case, it was a fun experiement! And this challenge is all about improving our skills and trying newtechniques, isn't it?
  9. I like the concept of the "Scarlet Magnolia" and it is a very nice little build. Especially the wagon is nice!
  10. NOOOOooooooooooo!!! It's really been a pleasure to follow this collab! Will we be seeing all the modules together at some point? I think the is my favourite module sofar, although it is a very tough choice! The chequered base of the guesthouse and the flower petals for decoration are some of the details that really make this stand out. I also like the differences in level, and the lushness of the build. May the bricks be with you!
  11. Thanks all - I too think this turned out really nice, so it is nice to hear you all agree! All the sudden, I felt like building ships - and I blaim the microships Garmadon and Kai made some time ago! Thanks for the update - it can get a bit confusing this challenge. (Even when one spies on Robuko's maps...) I will happily relocate to B15.
  12. Guerilla attack on A15. While Everlast has been lost, the High Council still has supporters in the north east. Some of them have established groups of resistance, fighting for the Republic and the People. The High Council has despatched several vessels to supply these partisans with both weapons and other supplies. _______________ Hope you like my first attempt at a forced perspective - I think it works quite well However, I am not sure if this picture might be better: C&C very welcome
  13. Counter against LordDan at K3 And guerilla attack on A15
  14. A counter to LordDan at K3 Not all citizens of Easterbroke believe that treason is the best way to earn their right to join with Avalonia. Therefore, these loyalists have manned small, fast patrolboats to intercept the smugglers running weapons to fuel war and pain on Easterbroke. ______________ 1) Sorry for the photoquality, but light was getting dim... 2) This was a surprisingly complex technique for building a boat, but quite fun! 3) I have tried to recreate LordDan's rock technique 4) C&C welcome
  15. I am wondering, since Phlici can only marry one, whether this will be a "winner takes it all" or a normal team against team vote?
  16. It makes sense to me that you may claim two points worth of zones for an overwhelming plus decisive victory. So unless any teammate objects, the High Council accepts it too.
  17. In the spirit of sportsmanship one could say, that in total the high council is using more or less the same number of studs as DK. And that generally, we have been under pressure by a very active DK team, so maybe an honest mistake should be forgiven this once? :) On the other hand, I perfectly understand if a different ruling will be made, and will accept any outcome.
  18. Yay! Welcome amongst our ranks - any aid is more than welcome! :D
  19. A brilliant counter, mrcp6d! I particularly like the tower, and that irregular base is really nice! And it would almost seem like we had coordinated our builds!
  20. Nice job on the palm! And I think this is some of the most dynamic posing I have yet seen! Brilliant! Presentation is (as always) top notch (Do agree with ME, though - those tiles don't really fit in )
  21. Now, ME, don't you go wasting your money on therapy, when they can go into nice bricks useful for building! Nice counter!
  22. Thank you, Gedren - I find that speech very inspiring - and given how this war is progressing, it seemed very appropriate. Let's just say I am silently hoping for some parallel to Pearl Harbour, now... Gald you like it, LJ - would have loved to see your take on this. And yes, of course - those Katoren builds are great! (You should register Katoren as a settlement here ) I am glad you think it all fits together - And I did use a lot of techniques that were new to me Crazy indeed - I am being pushed to the limit with each build - but then again, only by pushing the limits can we truly improve Thanks - those are directly lifted from Erynlasgalen's techniques. Thanks, Robuko - with all these warzones, I am really trying not to let quality drop Thanks, LV! Yeah, those handles were a flash of inspiration, and while it does leave quite a few gaps, I think it actually gives a nice apperance. Happy you like that roof - I put an effort into making it look finished. And yes, those Katoren builds are amazing, and I am really looking forward to seeing more of your collab!
