  1. A small station for local communication and logistics has been opened. (All credits for the build goes to Kolonialbeamter)
  2. A question: I would like to spend 20 dbs out of the King's Harbour Town Bank. How do I go about transferring them? Currently, you can only choose either a character or a tradecompany in the transaction form. Thank you in advance.
  3. To the Executive Director of the Royal Shipyards of Oleon, I have reviewed the offer with great interest and decided to accept your design with the greatest pleasure. The plans for the vessel tell me she will be a swift, stable and weatherly sailor, perfectly suited for the task at hand. It has also been noted that a small launch is included in the offer, and the flexibility of an extra vessel for back-up is much needed in King's Harbour. My experience with Olean shipbuilding is extensive and positive, and I have no doubts these vessels will not dissapoint. The station and pier are very fitting for the terrain and weather conditions in the cove, and for the purpose. Therefore, I have decided to award a 12,5% bonus on the contract, for a total of 45 db. Let it be known that the Governor of King's Harbour rewards good work and extra effort. King's Harbour, Cocovia April 21st 616AE Captain Jno. Cooke RN Military Governor King's Harbour Well, that is just bloody awesome, as I have told you elsewhere. Great work! I will transfer the funds presently. The waves, the beach, the pier and warehouse... And that pretty little lateen rigged beauty! Well, should you ever bid on other contracts in King's Harbour, you will be looked favourably upon!
  4. Awww, neighbours! ;) *eyes the Oleanders with suspicion * :P
  5. Damn it! Phadeout's got us figured out! Escape to our secret volcano retreat/spacerocket escape ship! ;) And I agree - keep up the story driving inputs, Kabel (and others)! ;)
  6. @Titus If I was King Fernando Augusto I too would probably have withdrawn my claim, as it loses a lot of strength when a more legitimate heir is presented. However, has it been withdrawn yet? I haven't seen that...
  7. Great looking schooner, Kabel! And thanks for showing us the inspiration - I think you have done really well in recreating the original with a lot of great detail. The general curvature of the hull and that brilliantly executed tumblehome is some of the best I have ever seen. All the different details on deck are great too. I really like the rigging, but would agree that taller topmasts would fit her well. I really like the tan with black stipes for masts, and the fact that the masts are actually divided in lower and upper masts is something we haven't seen much in BoBS yet, and I really like this added realism. The swivels are nice too - one of the better designs we have seen so far. I am loving the idea of using window frames as gunports, and those main and forechains are the best I have seen so far. As to the story: For me it makes perfect sense: King Fernando-Augusto claimed the Olean throne as no successor had made his name public. Then an heir with a stronger claim shows up, and to 1) give Fernando a way out, and 2) to show good will towards Eslandola, a (rather glorious, I should say) present is given to Fernando in the hope that he will not presss a claim that is less legitimate, and can only lead to war. You are to consider that his claim is not that strong, and he is unlikely to get any support from the Olean populace. It will be a hard claim to press, and with questionable benefits. A rather elegant solution, I would say.
  8. Nice example of a class 1 WR. I really like the spidery details, and the awning over the helmsman. As always, I would suggest fore-and aft rig for these small vessels, but apart from that, that rigging works well.
  9. I am loving the claim on that throne, Kabel. So far, it has created a lot of dynamics in Corrington - the amount of conjecture and speculation is great! Finally some dynamics in the politics and diplomacy of this game - now I just hope people will pick it up and react to it! (Which I also think some already have!)
  10. *BURP* What settlers? You should know that Corlanders love pork... GReat idea for a build - I wonder what the effect of those pigs will be - they are really efficient at keeping an area for turning into forest, I believe, but have no clue what will happen if there is already trees. Perhaps the population will explode? I love that guy wading through the surf carrying the pig - brilliantly done! As always, the rest is excellent too.
  11. Great landscaping, vegetation and posing, Jacob. The peppers are brilliant, and I wonder how far these settlers will get, if they keep eating anything they come across! And as always, a pleasure to read your story! Two questions: 1) Where are those bright green hands from, and 2) That scabbard thing for the cutlass - is that Lego? I have seen them in many different Mocs, but can't remember seeing them in a set.
  12. Nice ranch, Maxim! Everything does look a little angular, but I guess that is due to your experience with LDD so far? Especially the stream looks odd. I like that you have included both a residence, a stable and a watchtower - although there seems to be alot of costs in security with all those guards. Peirdefokker? I think I get that... ... And not to be a peirdefokker, but shouldn't this be a plantation? Well done.
  13. Very nice little factory, Titus! Current events in BoBS have have me too thinking of that quote! Nice floor/wall texture and arches/columns, and nice to see the process. I am wondering at two things: 1) What does the chain reflects? Is he polishing the wood? 2) Why is that smith banging his hammer on that musket? I would have liked a little more activity and some more implements for the workers, to fill out space more. Right now, it sort of looks like a warehouse only partly in use. or like the workers are on exhibition for us to see... And you post your pictures quite small - I think the rules on Eurobricks has been updated to 1000x800, but I am sure it can be at least 800x600. And, for the overview picture without the flags, I would have liked you to crop it - it is really easy - as we see a lot of "white space" around it. Well done, and good to see Elysabethtown growing!
  14. As to naming: I like "Alice Island" for #9, as it seems a bit mysterious! I just want someone to figure out who Alice was. The Queen's aunt/King Arlin's sister, perhaps? And for #4, I am sort of partial to keeping its given name "The Teardrop"... Skarletta and Rosetta are also fine for me, but they just do not seem to fit to #4 or #9 to me.
  15. I will echo Fuzzy's comment - MOAR!! NAOW! It is really nice how you weave all your builds and stories together (and react to what happens in the game-world), but I wonder if you would prefer us not to comment in this post? That is why I have held back my comments a bit so far. But it is really a shame not to commend you for this excellent story-telling!
  16. ...aaaaaand you've been scammed! MCTC executive management is already packing for a strategy retreat on the fair shores of Cocovia! For EWTC money!!
  17. Can someone stop that awful screeching sound of snivelling Eslandians? ;)
  18. Sign me up for the whole shabang, Ska. :)
  19. The courts will convene at first possible opportunity and give you a ruling as soon as possible.
  20. And I thought we had seen the last claim to the Olean throne... ;) :P
  21. Welcome, Captain Becker. Nice looking cannon and cool sigfig!
  22. Sir, you are mistaken (At least about the Advertizer's origin - its journalistic value I shall leave unremarked). The King's Port Advertiser is from King's Port in Terraversa! And we resent the accusations of your comment!
