Excellent blend of styles! I like the transparent tiles, adds to the eery atmosphere

I made no secret when I joined Loreos that I saw potential for cross-posting, and the response I got was that it was not uncommon And if someone wanted to check it was on my flickr account (and in that particular case also TBB ) for all to see. But GoH is my "home" in this regard, so if there is a GoH challenge going on I make my build for that...and if it can be used somewhere else that's just a bonus. Factors which limit cross-posting can however be if there are requirements on showing specific faction colors, including the sigfig or such things.

I think the only limitation on cross-posting is that you cannot reuse old builds as challenge entries. But as long as a build has not been posted anywhere prior to the challenge announcement, it seems to be generally accepted to cross-post as well. For example, I built the lighthouse of Barqa for our challenge here but before it was finished Loreos announced an LC where it fit quite well into the unrestricted category. So I took some new pictures with Loreesi colors and posted it there and won

Nice fig and rocks! UoP +1 for logging, although I'm a bit reluctant to give credits for such small builds...this just looks too good

Nocturnus seems to have saved some of their best entries to the very last minute, excellent creature! My favorite part is the mouth, scary rows of teeth!
-
Terrifying creature for sure! It reminds me of the LotR fell beasts, but more down to earth (pun totally intended) The head is definitely one of the best we've seen in this challenge.

Thanks! Might be true, I was trying to go for a texture rather than the standard alternating colors. Too bad, I was just about to look for a couple more as the dark tan ones look better than tan camels. But in a non-tan setting I think I can use those as well.

Mount up! Rhopalocera Lagargander (Giant Butterfly)

Definitely an unexpected mount, but very well built! UoP DoH +1 for both claims. -
Great written and illustrated story, can't wait to read more!

Nice courtyard, lots of things going on there! I also like that you are doing a collab Might this be some prelude to the next challenge...? Not sure about those blue tiles however, if they represent a type of stone used in making the wall I would have expected it in the vertical surfaces as well?

Nice interior vig! I like the banners and shields flush-mounted on the walls. Looks like DM's techinque? A small piece of advice is that there's some light leaking at the edges of the shields, maybe another layer of bricks/a small panel behind it would have remedied that?

First Landing - journey of the grey round road (jtgrr)
Gideon replied to cablefoxley's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice figures and good landscaping! Welcome! As others have said, the pics could be less grainy. That is a result from your sensor trying to compensate for the lack of light, which causes a lot of unnecessary noise. Get a roller blind there, that's perfect for a smooth background without any need for ironing prior to shooting! I'm using a white and a grey "TUPPLUR" as backdrops for my builds. In 95% of my pictures nowadays I don't have to do any post-processing to the background. -
A truly impressive city, great to see it being updated as your skills and collection improve! Regarding UoP I don't see a problem to claim more credits for a build of this scale and level of detail (actually it's no big difference from posting it as different builds as I did with my castle with UoP claims for each module). That being said, I'd be happy to +1 the following credits: - Architecture: roofing (the flowers) - Architecture walls: SNOT tiled walls (the camel and doors) - Architecture roofrakes (the white roofrakes of the Horses Head Inn) - General Building: Movement-enabled (the crane on the docks and the crane of the workshop) - Trade & Law: manufactering - Culture : Art I'd like to see something more or some detail pic highlighting the claim to give you credit for Architecture Advanced windows however.

Thanks! Yea, they are expensive but I figured that if I reuse them often enough I will get my money's worth for them anyway. (The same reasoning I based ordering 20 8x8 trans-medium blue plates on ) Thanks! Glad you liked the dark orange, I originally got some of it to use for Nocturnian turf but it actually works at least as well in Kaliphlin. Expect more of that! Thanks! You might, considering he is my LoR sigfig I try to make most of my builds there able to be cross-posted as GoH freebuilds, which is one of the reasons I joined Loreos there. Working on a third build in this series now, as I used these as two of the three "Merchants Guild Apprentice" builds there. (Now onto "travelling through difficult conditions" which will be a desert).

Monster fighters has some surprisingly good parts, not least yellow figure parts -
Hello and welcome! Great to see that you have already found your way to GoH! Since you are a lot in Sweden, have you found our LUG Swebrick yet? Totally offtopic is that I'm at the moment working on a project for Kraftnät Åland (the Åland power grid), connecting the island to mainland Finland

Can't help thinking that the rider looks more dangerous than the mount
-
I think just some scattered small plates in the same color would do a lot to get rid of the "unfinished" feeling a large surface of plate can give. In my eyes that would not hurt the feeling of bare ground at all.
-
Very nice creature design! I especially like the head and the wings.

You keep up with pairing stunning builds with a thrilling storyline, impressive! Can't wait to read more! A couple of details I particularly like here are the ballista and the protruding Tudor sections, and I think your balance between plain gray wall and greebling is very good My only point of criticism is that the ground in front of the tower could have used some detailing.

Welcome to GoH Eric Alander / Aland1916! (Am I correct in assuming I'm welcoming a fellow Northerner to GoH? ) -
Good job considering the limited part selection!
