  1. It sounds awesome! But...unfortunately the brickshelf folder isn't yet public. I'll go dig up a link to the deeplinking tutorial for ya. Then you can post the pictures for us! EDIT: Here's the link- Tutorial
  2. I'm impressed by the alternate model you made! I like it when people do things like this. Awesome idea.
  3. Neat project. I quite like the prototype/sketch. I'll be following this with interest.
  4. This is quite the entry! First off, the brick-built astromech is outstanding. Some great SNOT there. Second, I love all the water. The bucket's water looks good, the stream looks great, and the impact looks even better! And last but not least, the "Chevrospeeder" is fantastic. Love it. Good luck with the contest.
  5. I'm gonna agree with Lightning Dragon here and say you should put this on CUUSOO! It's a fantastic MOC. I'd buy it for sure if it were a set. Love all the purple! Fantastic work.
  6. I don't know the dimensions, but I remember there used to be small Bionicle boxes selling spinners or balls compatible with launchers from the theme. But I think Flying Lesson might've been smaller, I'm not entirely sure.
  7. Well, my Frodo and Sam both have the filled-in design. In case anyone's interested, I checked a couple of colours of heads other than flesh too; Mace Windu had the 3-bar design, Asajj Ventress had filled, and Savage Opress was filled. EDIT: Although I know the other heads are from a different theme.
  8. Hi again! Not bad for a first MOC, not bad at all. I remember my first (on Eurobricks, I mean). It was a small horse and cart. Not saying I'm amazing at MOCing now, but I think I've improved. So, looks like you're off to a promising start! I like the concept...it seems like a cozy place for riders to stop on their long journey. The interior is good, even though you don't have much space for it. Good job, and keep it up!
  9. If Lego made a set of Hobbiton, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Bilbo's birthday would be fantastic too. Either way, the set would have to include Rosie. I don't know if I'm in a minority here, but I'm going crazy wanting a Rosie minifig. (Yes, I'm a male FOL with a Friends Stormtroopers avatar, wanting a female hobbit. ) Bilbo's Birthday or Hobbiton would probably also do well to include Merry and Pippin. Having Fatty would be amazing as well! Then we could have all of the "conspirators" from the book. Just a couple of my fantasies.
  10. Well, it's been a long time since I've seen anything TMNT, but this is awesome! You did a fantastic job with the armour. I love the leg decals. Could you post a pic of the torso without the armour? I'd like a better look at that decal too. Awesome custom, as always!
  11. Ryanoliono: That's a great one! Kinda reminds me of "Avengers Assemble!" jokes people were making. Oky: Those are hilarious! No wonder you've got such a reputation.
  12. I just saw The Amazing Spiderman. Now, nobody bite my head off, but I liked it better than the previous trilogy! I felt Andrew Garfield captured Spidey's sense of humor better than Toby did. 9/10. Can't wait for the sequel!
  13. Sorry as this is slightly off-topic, but I need to say it. Corn Flakes are my favourite cereal. Lego is one of the absolute best hobbies ever. Picking amazing fun out of delicious snacks? Why do they not do this anymore?!
  14. I hope The Hobbit does turn into a trilogy. I'm not expecting it, but one can hope. Contest? Wow, I miss a lot. But that poster is beautiful!
  15. Thanks! I try to remember, it's not the bricks, but what you do with them. But honestly? I'm sure better selection could at least help. Thank you! Ah, Snape. Well, who knows what's in that cabinet? Maybe a long-nosed Potions teacher! Actually I don't own Snape. Thank you very much! Means a lot to me that people like it.
  16. You might be interested to know that Superman's hairpiece covers Harry's scar perfectly. Makes ya wonder if TLG did that on purpose, eh?
  17. My entry is done!
  18. Hi everybody! I actually finished my entry on time! This is the Potions Classroom. I tried to capture the essence of how I imagine it based on the books, movies, and games. Now, it's not nearly what I had hoped to build, but I had been counting on stopping in a Lego store while I was in Ontario, and that plan failed. So I made do without all those bricks I was planning to buy, and used my [pitiful collection instead. Despite all that, I had a ton of fun, and it didn't turn out too bad! So have a look, and enjoy! First here's an overall picture. I did the background in blue because I signed up for the Ravenclaw house (because Ravenclaw's the best. "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure."). You can see an arched entrance, a barred window letting in murky green light, torches, tables, students, a cauldron, a shelf, and a cabinet. Here's a close-up of one of the tables: There's my sigfig in Hogwarts attire chopping some ingredients for a potion. Just pretend it's a Ravenclaw uniform and a Barn Owl instead of a Gryffindor with a Snowy. A bookbag and directions. A cabinet with Beedle-knows-what inside. (Spot the reference!) Annnd, a student stirring up some...uh...glop. Guess somebody's not getting Felix Felicis today! A shelf full of useful ingredients. Now, I'm not thrilled with any of the pictures I took, but this one is the worst. Sorry 'bout that. And last but not least, a birds-eye view of the classroom. You can spot an ant and a cat. Well, even if it's not perfect I was glad to do some building. I hope you liked looking at it as much as I liked making it! Just like always, C&C are welcome. No, encouraged! Thanks for taking a look.
  19. Okay, this is the last update I'm making for this contest. I've fixed my avatar, and redone the background in GIMP. If my avatar pic on the first page of this topic could be updated that'd be the best. Thanks a ton!
  20. Lately I've been having avatar problems. Somedays it appears, somedays it doesn't. This might be enough motivation to get off my butt and fix it though. If I get it working by the voting/raffle period am I still eligible? Thanks for understanding. EDIT: Just to clarify, I was unsure because my avatar's been missing for the past couple weeks.
  21. That's a sweet modification! I'm liking this project you're doing. It's cool to see the evolution of Anakin's ships made from Lego. I also like your ETA-2 fleet. As for the question, I'd love to see a purple one for Mace! Go for it! Keep up the awesome work.
  22. My friend, you have good taste. LOTR and the colour purple? Yes. Welcome to Eurobricks, and enjoy the forums! -purpleparadox
  23. That's an awesome (and creative) idea. It looks formidable. Now having a regular sized wall seems a bit wimpy! What I'd really love to see is using the set to build up and out!
  24. Very shiny; very nice! The helmet's great but the wings are outstanding. I love the use of Bionicle swords. Your paint job seems flawless! For a moment I thought the wings and helmet were actually made out of metal. Neat custom! (By the way, your Pan is cool too. )
  25. I voted for TDKR Bane and Venom. I love the printing on both of them. If I had to pick a favourite of the two, it'd be Bane. Hands down.
