  1. Phoenix looks great but Bizarro is AMAZING. (Maybe that's partly due to me being more knowledgeable about DC than Marvel). The amount of detail TLG is pouring into minifigs lately excites me to no end! Now the only problem is getting my hands on these two...please give us sets with 'em!
  2. Congrats! I can see why you won. Fantastic job combining two of my favourite things; music and Lego! Could ya post a close-up of the piano for me? Two thumbs-up!
  3. Great series of MOCs. My favourite is easily "I feel the good in you". I like the broken rail and the Sith Lightning. Awesome details on all the vigs, though! Keep it up.
  4. Aw man, now I can't wait for Thursday, Friday, or Saturday! I love LOTR, Superheroes, and SW. Thank goodness I'll be off vacation to watch EB on those days. :excited: -That's me right now.
  5. That's a brilliant one pong0814! Now everyone in the immediate vicinity wants to know why I'm laughing so hard.
  6. Great to read an interview with one of the most important staff here, on the best forum of Eurobricks! Star Wars became my favourite part of EB, partly due to the SW sets, partly due to the amazing MOCs, and partly due to an awesome amount of effort put in by our fantastic staff! Thanks again Brickdoctor for everything you do. That Forum Index banner looks great so far! And thanks to the EBSWF for these great interviews.
  7. Looks good to me! I'm hardly familiar with Black Widow outside of The Avengers (movie), but I'm a bit of a Catwoman fan and it looks pretty sweet...although, yes, yes, we all know there's quite a bit of cleavage with that suit.
  8. Gandalf is once again, amazing, and of course I love Bilbo. Hobbits in minifig form are almost too amazing to handle. But in this wave, the dwarves capture my attention! All of the intricate details help to feed my opinion that LOTR/The Hobbit has the best minifigs ever produced. I love the beards and that hat/hair is something completely new and beautiful. Is that a stomach bulge for Bombur I see? Well, I can't wait for the sets!! Thanks again Lego, for the amazing sets and the amazing figures. EDIT: I think I might've said "amazing" a few times too many. Oh well, it's true. They are amazing!
  9. Fantastic decals! I'd love to see them applied to a minifig someday. The back of the suit is completely brilliant! Great, great, job.
  10. Three great astromechs. Quite a good idea, and I was planning something similar with alternate colours of Jedi Starfighters. I can't pick a favourite out of your droids! I'm looking forward to more.
  11. Just re-watched TDK (again ), and these are really accurate! I like both of your renditions of often-made vehicles. Great work!
  12. Thanks! Yes I did make a topic with a heavily armed Batman...it's somewhere around here, in the licensed forum. Go ahead and take a look!
  13. Sweet MOC! It's definitely not a traditional bat-vehicle and that's part of what makes it so great. It looks a bit like some kind of insect, like a cross between a spider and some thing with pincers. Overall, a great, creative work!
  14. Oh! I apologize for my kinda snarky reply, then. Perhaps the helmet is an out-of-production helmet once sold at Brickforge? I wouldn't think they'd use someone else's helmet because it would inadvertently advertise for their competitor.
  15. The Brickforge logo in the corner is a pretty good indicator it's sold from Brickforge... Just give Brickforge a quick search. It's an online store, so you can order the helmet you want from there. (If they still produce it)
  16. Another Aussie? You guys multiply like flies! I'm kidding, we love you. Hmm...an Australian...main focus is City...have we got ourselves the next LightningTiger here? Looking forward to your train layout. (Pssst: Hide random Stormtroopers throughout the layout! )
  17. Pretty amusing. The only thing I'd add is some Stormies beating up Ewoks in the background. Wouldn't it fit even better in the Single-Pane Star Wars Funnies thread?
  18. I'm gonna have to agree with everyone who said the Star Wars Bucket. I know Lego wasn't nearly as advanced in terms of minifigs and design back then, but those models don't look good at all. Luckily they gave us some better podracers in 2011.
  19. Holy Superheroes, Batman! Amazing work, you guys. I can't pick out favourite parts. Everything's awesome, from the brick-built Sandman, to Mr. Freeze's ice battle on the roof, to Poison Ivy's vine-building, to all of the general explosions. It's all great, so two thumbs up from me!
  20. It's a brilliant idea. I know I'd buy all of the battlepacks required to recreate that scene. It's one of my favourites! I hope your project goes far.
  21. I was waiting for pics like these to decide about the Visual Dictionary...is it good or bad that I now need to buy it? The printing on every minifig is getting so detailed that I can barely resist buying them all! My poor, poor, wallet.
  22. Oh...oops. I need to read these things more carefully! Oh well. In that case, the different coloured lights are my only criticism about the MOC.
  23. Welcome to the best Lego site on the web! (Web, get it?) I know almost everyone here can sympathize with you on not being in the best position to get all the Lego they want. Ah well, it's still an awesome hobby! Do you MOC? See ya around!
  24. Great entry! The control panel is really excellent. I've gotta say, I love it when contest entries are pushing the rules or creative, and this is definitely thinking outside the box. Awesome idea!
  25. Wow...imagine all the snausages that thing could hold... Also jokes aside, I do like it! I don't love that the lights (blue and yellow) are different colours. It kinda ruins the symmetry that the rest of the ship has. But I'm guessing that's a problem with the original, not your MOC. Great mini model!
