    I think a lot of us are spoiled by the awesome kingdom factions. I'm not really interested in these factions but that doesn't make the design bad. The heraldry on the cloth flags actually looks pretty nice. And the castle from a kid's standpoint is a solid fortress with plenty of battlements. I doubt I will get any of these sets except for the dragon mountain which is a must have because of the dragon. On a bright note, with the return of castle, there is an increased chance for the return of some of the more loved factions such as the falcons and the wolf clan in the coming years.

    Thanks! I have always liked how the brick bricks look, I just have a hard time finding realistic applications for them sometimes... Thanks! I was looking forward to the Chima figs but wasn't really impressed with the lion faction. Now that I have them, they are one of my favourites, just without the masks though. Thanks! I think the Lion faction really suits Kaliphlin as well... Thanks! I like the Chima figs, just not a fan of the masks. Too big imo.

    Nice little build! The swampy water looks great with the foilage but I think your figs must have gotten lost and ended up in Kaliphlin...

    Beautiful! I really like the wall pattern and the flowers... I just realized they look so much better the way you placed them on the stems. For some reason since my earliest days with LEGO, I have always placed them inverted and I have no idea why I never thought of placing them the other way.

    This is a really awesome MOC kabel! That rockwork turned out great and I like the use of what I call your trademark style with the water that I believe you started with challenge 5. Keep it up! And about the views, I usually view all the MOCs in GoH but a lot of times I don't have time to comment on them.

As usual I have a few modifications planned one being making the stairs look a bit less stacked and the other with changing the 8x1 plates one either side of the windows to another color for more accent.     Thanks! Yesil the Grelf does not use spies but is a master logician. Assassins favor few animals but only a cat was suitable for this mission. For example, assassins do like snakes but if Yesil sent a snake man for this mission, I'm sure Zakon would have misunderstood the intent. I would be delighted! Thanks! Thanks! I've been trying to improve my foilage designs. Not sure if I'm done tweaking but I am pleased with how the trees look for now.

    Awesome build! Good to see you back. I'm waiting on sails like that to finish my ship and since I like official sails, I'm hoping the LOTR ship has similar sails. Meanwhile after reading CBB's post I got an idea ad built a quick MOC (link here) and photographed it tonight. I'm waiting for time/weather to photograph my castle ruins build so that I can use some of the pieces to finish up one of Aslan Kale's segments which only needs a few more pieces for completion.

    Upon hearing of the road blockade by Zakon GoldBlade, Yesil the Grelf requested the legendary Kaliphlin negotiator Puss "No" Boots to try and defuse the situation. So once again Puss "No" Boots puts on his hat and cape, leaving his beach house to pay Zakon Goldblade a visit and attempt to convince him to remove the blockade. On the way he plans to purchase a bottle of fresh Avalonian milk which perhaps will put Zakon in amiable spirits- if not Puss "No" Boots will at least be. Puss "No" Boots

    If you do not hear from me for a while, I'm not taking a break from GoH; just becoming absorbed in my building for Kaliphlin. Just when I think I'm almost finished with a MOC, I get another idea to improve it. I can't seem to settle for a simple MOC anymore and I'm experimenting with different bricks to polish the builds off. I do have a MOC that has been sitting around for over six months that I never was satisfied with so it is being taken apart but I will photograph it as a ruin from the elementals.

    Of course I'll be around still after challenge 6. I have too many incompleted Kaliphlin builds but I may have 6 more free builds up within the month... depends on real life though.

    Raw? He must have been really hungry... There are polar bears in Historica, just not sure if they are called polar bears neither that there are plenty of them. Until LEGO produces some more they seem to be on the endangered species list.

    I really like this MOC! Everything is perfect except imo the dome. If you had incorporated the planet half piece as the dome I think this may have been my favourite Kaliphlin residence build yet.
