1gor replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks buddy. Volvos are IMHO the most interesting sets this year; but I was pleasently surprized with Mars sets last year. -

Yes you can look that way...but IMHO Technic should stick to good old PF and perhaps introduce receivers for bluetooth standard, or even better to integrate them to (smsller rechargible) battery box Double reduction should do the trick... Based on info so far best set IMHO is Volvo electric loader -

Question is also how strong they are...but machinery has only one main goal - to have pulling power, so speed is not Nr.01 requirement... -

Johannes, your self propelled mover looks very realistic. Sadly it isn't RC...but I like it this way also... -

[WIP] Ferrari 125s in 1:8 scale
1gor replied to Divitis's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well it is realistic; few weeks ago I saw new Ferrari 295GTB and when owner wanted to check something in engine bay hood stick just fell of...so no worries Ferrari is obviously a display model. At least your inspiration has real engine sound. -

Buggy looks interesting; 5-6 years ago I wanted to make one in 1:15 scale but no engine parts were available. Leter I even bought Mustang wheels to make it narrow and for Christmass I bought Kawasaki and you beat me...nice to see that someone had similar ideas as me (only I plan 49.5 x 20 truck tire rear and 49.5 x 14 front...and my rear axle idea was more flat without "hanging" wheels like on Tatras... -
