On wishbone pin hole is exactly for that and small (3 studs long) part with towball socket you can see specially on the same image that you posted, but also on Ferrari. Lower part is rounded and it means that towball fits inside...

I agree; I wanted to brace gears 40 and 24 tooth with them at output if coupled XL motors, so I could use stronger CV joints on my model, but I can't because those were not strong enough...anyway I went back to 9398 type of suspension... ...even new Wishbones 7 x 7 from McLaren are bending...

Yes it is thin, but not particularly strong, so I discard that possibility to use it because IMHO it is very flexible...

Personally I don't cut anything (that is why I have lots of trial and error). Lots of time I needeed 8 studs long liftarm...but I can only hope for it. Generally I use only Lego parts, but I'm very limited with Lego tire dimensions... BTW, there is also very usefull 9 studs long liftarm ½ stud thin...

Something like that; currently I'm rebuilding onw my model and hope to finish it untill end of February and post some pictures of it. Basically I use frames 5 x 7, 5 x 11 H shape or 7 x 11 as much as I can. Propulsion is also very simple; mostly I use XL motors (Powerfunctions) and then upgear them (using spur gears because they are have less friction than bevel gears), then daytona or gray differentials (both tun smoother than red differntial introduced in 42109 set) and hub reduction at end... when trying to replicate shape I use mostly pannels because they are sturdier than bricks...

To make realistic model as much as possible with minimal parts as possible no matter propulsion, functions, looks or construction (I usually use as much frames as possible).

@gyenesvi motorized Unimog with realistic offroad (like Audi) tread pattern in some 95-100mm size (including your other suggestions) could be very nice...please don't tell @Thirdwigg anything about Unimogs

Actually for me it is better that way; need some ordinary orange parts and I need one extra 3 x 5 L shape beam with alternate holes, so when it will be available I'll buy it (it is cheaper than minimal shipping costs)

I have one buggy motor ftom 8421 set that I try to use in one of my creations...Yesterday I had a bit time to play with receivers and receiver from 42095 works perfect with buggy motor and only thing that I have is to solve steering with M-motor...

Based on sariel's gear calculator it is bit better to have one buggy motor than 2 XL notors, but Lego one have their issues, they don't want to respond at all from time to time (directly to battety box they work perfectly) over Lego receivers.
