  1. First of all I'm sorry to (re)ask following question if it was answered before, but I was looking for answers last several days without any success..my question is - is it possible to use something else than CV joint with 42099 reduction hub because I need to distance it from 5 x 7 frame just one stud (and with CV joint there are two studs distance). This is the part I'm writing about https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=46490c01&in=S Thanks for any answer
  2. Could be worth of rethinking, but I'm bad in foreseeing future, so I'll be wary about that. Besides new motors are to big for my MOCs and I can not stick 2 or more motors to one channel; even PF L motor is causing me a problem for last model that I (partially) work on because it is 7 studs long... Regards
  3. It is cool, but I don't like cold. Very original idea and impressive MOC
  4. Original MOC, but I've seen similar MOC in prototype stage by @jrx years ago...
  5. As time passes by i have feeling that not only battery box is screwed, but we are screwed with this control+ system...
  6. Hm... steering, suspension, rwd, engine, maybe DRS?
  7. That was my idea in the first place, but question is if such solution is not to wide... Based on information here https://www.grimme.com/uk/producttypes/selbstfahrende-erntetechnik-kartoffel/varitron-270-platinum-terra-trac Width is variable from 3300 to 4023 mm; so in this case (if I remember correctly all models are 1:17 ); Lego model should have overall width from 24 studs (maximal compressed) to 30 studs (maximal extended) over tires... I hope that I didn't bring more confusion @eric trax
  8. I thought that axle should extend both right and left... otherwise you'll get differential "floating" to just one side and IMHO it should stay in center... I suppose there is only possible to connect 42099 hubs with new CV joints...
  9. At least it is nice to see that someone of us agriculture equipment lovers find some te for mocing. There are new CV joints in Zetros that enable axle sliding, but I don't have Zetros (not even hubs from 42099) so I don't know if the sliding length is enough for you to make rear wheels drive (one wheel drive is a bit odd IMHO or you could try to power rear wheels directly? I was thinking about this part https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=77590&idColor=86#T=C&C=86 (Hm... perhaps with that solution axle would be to wide and I suppose that new light bluish gray wheels like one from land Rover doesn't help you)
  10. Maybe it is (as usual) question of license (license with Mercedes-Benz obviously has to do with trucks in Technic theme) and those models (IMHO) are display models, so orange and blue (and black) could be nice combination not overwhelmed with stickers... Besides that when time passes it doesn't mean that only winning cars have reputation; there are lots of classic Ferraris that look much better than winning cars from the same era / championship Yes they have 1-2 finish
  11. On brickfanatics page there is also rumor about McLaren F1 car... https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-technic-mclaren-f1-car-rumoured-2022/
  12. Those are ordinary 6.5 soft (light bluish gray) shocks
  13. IMHO every sets are overpriced (pullbacks and this one; only telehandler and chopper look realistically priced)
  14. Yes it looks that way; even colors look from 42095 (only big sprockets look like dark bluish gray from Liebherr)
  15. Rear can be something like in 42070 only without portal hubs
  16. Maybe there are new parts inside like new shocks, etc...
  17. It is very nice replication of legendary gondola.
  18. IMHO so far the best 2022 set (from those we have (leaked) images) Even chainsaw looks realistic (hope no one looses chain like I did this spring when preparing woods for Winter )
  19. This is always my problem (proportions) and modern curved lines on machinery are difficult to replicate, so sometimes my WIPs look like roof. Glad to see you continuing to work on this MOC Kind regards
  20. Seeing all those motors (and hubs) make me I really like what you've done so far...but looking at your tracks / rear wheels combination now I understand why on sariel's scaler tool when I put Jaguar in 1:18 scale both biggest sprockets and Zetros tires are best combination... somehow rear tires look to big in comparison to sprockets? But it is very impressive and I like using frames, but in my case 11 x 15 frame is not very stiff; it is bending to much for my needs Kind regards
  21. Honestly real car looks so plastic that is very very suitable for Lego
  22. Or salmon (Bacalar is a fish you know) https://www.chasingthedonkey.com/croatian-cooking-salted-cod-recipe-christmas/
  23. @Milan IMHO you made a great review; even @Jim could be proud on your pictures Just one info; since I have part 6575 (Technic Cam) in light bluish gray in my inventory for years (bought over bricklink.com) it must have been from some set. As usual from year 2004 bluish gray color (light and dark) replaced gray color and in this inventory we have both light bluish gray and light grey color parts (which for me doesn't have sense), so I assume my light bluish gray cams came from that set. To me it looks like rear tire has bigger diameter
  24. @Milan is right about fingertips; human fingers are greasy and the live unpleasant "print" on glossy surface ...and you should really stop titling everything that is thinking plausibly to be "conspiracy theory"; like CIA that invented this when people start asking (based on official report) how is possible that Lee Harvey Oswald's bullet changes direction in thin air?
