  1. Tires from 8880 set work only with axles like on this set's rear wheels https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=8857-1 I was thinking about those wheels (I have 2 in white) with pulleys... The price of those wheels is not that acceptable...but better than ones from 41999 set https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32077#T=S&C=1&O={"color":1,"iconly":0}
  2. Now I see why you could not remain proper width; there are 3 PF motors (giving 9 studs overall width) in the way if you don't want rubbing rear tires to m-motors...that us why I switched to XL motors - they are shorter...
  3. Roof position is more realistic indeed
  4. @gyenesvi that all sounds very complicated to me, so I'll wish some smaller manual sets for me...but you got interesting idea for those in Billund...
  5. After looking (and downloading instructions) u can only repeat myself - beautiful In the meantime I got one idea, but I don't know if it is ok with you, for white rims on NH Tractor; front could be from 42124 buggy, but perhaps those with white 6 x 6 dish inverted could be useful? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=15038pb01&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={"color":11,"iconly":0} ...but when I see the price I almost got heartache...
  6. @Ngoc Nguyen lots of loaders have indeed automatic transmissions with 3 dorwards speeds and one reverse ...
  7. If I remember correctly something like CLAAS torion was made by @M_longer few years ago...https://youtu.be/gGx2vBpLe6s But as alternative to 42053 set
  8. Viktor, simple build yes, but simple as beautiful Some of those alternative models look way better that original set.
  9. Since we have John Deere license this one could be interesting (even it is autonomous tractor). Tires we already have (107 for rear and 81 for front). https://www.theverge.com/2022/1/4/22866699/john-deere-autonomous-farming-ai-machine-vision-kit
  10. Honestly shapeways parts are very fragile (at least what I bought) and if I don't sand axle holes perfectly when pushing axle through hole part either brake or connection was to loose... The main goal was to find appropriate reduction for my ongoing project since I don't know reduction on @efferman's Effersen mining dump truck...and have similar configuration - 2 XL motors for propulsion.
  11. I only managed to got an idea how to use connectors like this It steers, but I have to find the way to increase steering angle but not to loose stiffness.
  12. That was my assumption when you mentioned that your model took inspiration from front part of @eric trax's New Holland T140...anyways it looks very nice IMHO
  13. Probably you're concerned about public opinion on weapons; perhaps it could be changed in satellite launcher or something...
  14. I have just 2 wishes - 94mm tractor tires and axle joiner perpendicular with towball socket instead of pin hole... https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6536#T=C And what set would it be I really don't bother anymore.
  15. Of course it looks better with Zetros tires, but one question arises to me (since I'm lazy to read first post): you implemented just rear wheel drive or 4wd?
  16. I have tried with this suspension arm hoping that differential could fit inside gap ... but there as a 1mm gap between frame and suspension arm if I don't want that differential rubs on suspension arm.
  17. Are gear racks from Arocs better (longer travel than XL linear actuators)?
  18. Well nothing is happening by itself, nothing is coincidence, but you are right let's stick to 42131 set which looks nice but IMHO @Ngoc Nguyen made it better
  19. I have 2 of them in black - the correct amount but could not make construction stiff enough for my RC tractor but I welcome your honest intentions
  20. You could be right, but an some hour and a half I'll try with arm from 8297 set (got one idea and if it works I'll post it in my thread), but firth I have to bath my Yorkie
  21. @howitzer IMHO looks more and more that this pandemic was invented to make even bigger differences between poor and rich and LEGO is just following this trend of (meaningless) inflation from food (example did you ever asked yourself what is with carrots that are less than 10cm long?), real estate (best example that I 100% know is Zagreb - tens of thousands empty apartments and price per square meter is rising and rising...), energy - higher taxes for spending on fiasco of humanity called investment in green energy (not to mention that almost every "western" state is giving billions of euro for so-called NGOs)...and no wonder LEGO is getting expensive; probably change away from ABS doesn't come cheap ... So yes you got that right, but all this market without reasonable control will collapse and good question is how many of us here will be even thinking about LEGO (not to mention of dream of buying sets)?
  22. I have one, but need stiffness for front axle because I wanted to use reduction hubs from 42099 set...only one side at the differential gear I bugging me ...perhaps I could widen arms from 8297 set ... EDIT: sorry I forgot to remove image when quoted
  23. Partially you're right. But people often complain that this C+ sets are highly expensive because of "new" technology
  24. It seems that I was to lazy to look back ...
