  1. @2GodBDGlory, idea is very good, but in my case it ended up to much loose; i have tried something like this with vertical support like yours, but with shorter 5L suspension arm instead of link (and put 2 thin 1 x 3 listarms and 27940 connector, but it didnt work out the way I wanted). There is always a different approach - to make reduction where motor is... Thank you; perhaps I'll be smarter in the morning; who knows. Kind regards
  2. Well, I have several of those parts, but how to make it stiff enough for motorized MOC?
  3. I need length 4 studs, but i managed (during Covid lock down) to make narrow enough axle using suspension arms from 8297 set...
  4. Thanks; I was hoping for something 4 studs long... Agree totally with @gyenesvi
  5. @R0Sch can you please share dimensions of A arm
  6. Look into future Technic Contest - TC30 - make model of real vehicle that has big Cab
  7. As usual... (This could easily be official set Jorge)
  8. I remember Convoy movie; I saw it dozen of times when I was a kid; I was planing to make 1:18 scale model for longer time, but could not find a time to start making planned Combine (or Forage) harvester; even today on Sunday whenever I get my hands on Lego, wife needed help ar pets start to get nervous... Really wired day today
  9. R series looks very nice (and IMHO red suits the best); my favorite is R series with asymetrical cab; perhaps I'll make it one day as Combine harvester transporter
  10. I usually prefer to maintain accurate proportions (as much as possible) and then to integrate as much as possible functions. Looks is very important to me, so I spent lots if time making appropriate lines and make whole thind stiff as possible, but with less pasts as I can. Mechanics; better say functions are desired things (since my creations are RC), but sometimes accurate suspension (or other features) are not possible to recreate wether it is nit stiff enough, or Lego does jot produce adequate parts, so I chose solution that is optimal for model with acceptable suspension travel, steering angle, etc...
  11. Point is that at least TLC is trying to replicate main features in this set
  12. Yes, because W14 had a pullrod suspension at the rear, but this years W15 had switchrd to pushrod (like seen on Aston Martin AMR24) due to aerodynamic reasons.
  13. You are probably right, but we could laugh a bit more...
  14. Just controller and playing with sticks
  15. I was actually sharing my situation in irder to give a hint to a problem oerhaps, but you are apsolutely right it could be polarity switch. I have one ftom 8297 set abd it can only be used as extension cable...
  16. A little black humor, newer cars bend despite all; instead of sheet metal they use paper But there are same solutions ss you posted on trucks and (JCB Fastrac) tractors
  17. I didn't use polarity switch, just PF receivers (the same with V1 and V2) so I suppose that I need 9V battery box (6 rechargibles with 1.5V), so I switch to smaller scale models...
  18. Yes, because it doesnt fit slots due to space limitations. Problem is that I can not hold it steady enough with hands when it is rotating turned towards sun to show small gap. I have put some weights and temporary enforcements and indoor conditions are not causing differential rubbing on frame
  19. Another topic; did anyone of you had situation that red classic diffrrential is some tenths of milimeter smaller than dark bluish gray since it is not rubbibg on 5 x 7 frame in my model (I had the same situation with ordinary 24 tooth gear bought in 2020, and older ones from 42030 set are rubbing on the same construction) (It is located between two vertical PF L motors and rechargible battery box)
  20. About second Servo problem; I have noticed same problem with my Fastrac that was planned to have several steering modes. The same servo I use now in prototype of smaller scale Fastrac which has only front wheel steering and it works just fine; perhaps there is some issue with receiver? Or not enough current? Backhoe looks cool
  21. My dear friend, as soon as my pets (and parents; father is in hospital) allow me to finnish Fastrac, I'll go and see wbat I need for dozer...there are some projects that I work on, but still wondering from one to another version...my major problem is that I need 120mm Lego tractor tire to make simpler constructions (in 16.5 scale like Cat D11). With current tires I need liftatms 8 studs long to make simple and sturdy construction...and yes, there is a surprize with Audi tires on the way...
  22. He forgot about those down under and on those under down under
  23. It has new 5 studs flip flip beams in black at least two in front of engine) ...or is it known 5 x 3 L beam with alternate holes...
  24. Whenever I think that "this year" we will finally got new connector with ball joint with some 4 studs long suspension arm, my dreams got crashed...
