Axle Collection Thread
1gor replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@vascolp after several months of experimenting and testing, I came with this final solution for narrow axle using reduction hubs: Yellow 5 studs axles at the back are inteded to hold ball yoint But since Lego battery boxes are to weak to power my buggy motor, I'll probably use it with PF large motors for propulsion...at least PF servo works with coupled large motors... -

When I get my paws at it I could test something that is buggling my mind since reduction hubs are introduced to Lego Technic. So P1 has plenty of (hopefull) pleasant surprizes for me... -

I suppose you are refering to Z shaped piece to the right in early post3d image where 2 new susprmsion armes are separated and clearly visible.. -
Interesting part beside new susension arm in McLaren is Z shaped liftarm... You can see it at the right side on image of incomplete McLaren tpgether with two new suspension arms... https://www.jb-spielwaren.de/en/lego-42172-mclaren-p1-v8-twin-turbochargers/a-42172/ ...penultimate image in gallery... Or is it better to transfer this post in general parts discussion? @Milan do what you think that is more apropriate...

Width is OK; it goes arround differential, but to mount it is enough to have one stud (lets say with pinhole) and it could have been in green why not (there is John Deere license) -

Actually I don't care a lot about modern cars because they get broken more often than classic cars and I like design of some classic cars... That's all... -

And there seems to be a new suspension arm... Too late; please ignore... I hope that differential could fit inside... ...to make narrow suspension... Actually it is very wide... -
Currently I'm testing this prototype... If I managed to make steering with powerfunctions medium motor, then I can use buggy motor instead of large motors...

G wagon with low profile tires is actually stylish as posted Xerion. Excelent comparisson @AVCampos -
Yes it is; a kind of evolution. Major evolution for me was to find out (the hard way) that every PF V2 receiver (I have 4 of them) works on one chanel with following coupled motor(s) combination: - 2 x PF large + Servo or - 2 x PF XL × PF large or medium (won't work with Servo) (Even Buggy motor works fine on one channel and Medium motor on another for steering) ...when I use train battery box or rechargible battery box because I have no space... I would gladly help when I can

Looking at 2023 Magnum 400, upper hood line is best simulated with curved 3 x 13 panel (like I made on latest Fastrac incarnation...)

You are right, they are smooth, so older with smaller turning angle... Rear is solid axle. -

To make 31 mm wide, TLC should develop new rim, since thid 56mm medium wheels are 34mm wide -

Perhaps they put the ones in front introduced with Audi because they have bigger steering angle ...and it have double shocks at the front...we saw that before (somewhere ) -

When you zoom this image you can see 87.9 x 36 writting on tire...so it is new tire that follows philosophy introduced with Audi... -
