  1. Last night I have made alternative solution for central part mainly with frames and it is even lighter and much sturdier (and I need less space for gearbox) Thanks for stopping by
  2. No you are not; here in Croatia some sets are so idiotically translated that their names do not contain noun, just adjectives...I do not even know how to translate them into English...
  3. Nice review for such small or should I say entry-level Technic set. If there were black connectors except light bluish gray it would be interesting as a small parts pack... Photos are great (as usual)
  4. Thanks, currently I'm trying to optimize whole Construction because rear part is not sturdy as I would like (it is a bit bending...). You know someone has infected my with parts optimisation
  5. Thanks, in the meantime I'm looking how to make rear section even sturdier, but always have this problem with missing beam with 8 studs... Of course I'm making new rear part without disassembling this one...
  6. I prefer this https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/buildinginstructions ...because I don't want to have to much apps to use resources on my phone
  7. Still missing 42093 instructions...
  8. After some time I managed to finish chassis with desired proportions for 1:15 scale. Before images there are few respected EB members who supported me and contributed in this build, so I hope that this creation (despite it is not finished) will be what @grum64, @TeamThrifty, @hpil, @functionalTechnic, @jorgeopesi, @jrx, @Technic BOOM, @Leonardo da Bricki, @Rudivdk... expect. Dimensions are correct for such scale: 46 studs long 25 studs wheelbase 21.5 studs wide 26 studs tall It uses 16 universal joint and 10 CV joints, but let pictures speak themselves: Battery box has its place below transverse H frame. Bigger images can be seen here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/igor.ipsa/agriculture/tractors/jcb_fastrac_4220 Regards
  9. We are, it was from 1991 to 1995... I know the feeling when something is missing but it will sort it out. Important is to make successful tests to see if it performs as it is planned.
  10. Now just imagine if TLC would take a challenge and make such tires
  11. I see, I had plan to make fully RC model, but my pets and wife do not enjoy sound of Pf elements, so I use moderate amount of pf elements just for pto and 3 point hitch... Since I'm living witness of depending liberating war (we in Croatia were the most brutally attacked, torched and massacred) I'm not such Fan of tanks, but I appreciate your way of building.
  12. Few minutes ago I have finished chassis and most mechanical parts. There are few things missing, but I hope it will sort it out... I can post images that show current stare of project tomorrow in my tread. Despite needing to make stairs, mudguards, bonnet, cab and it's interior, I'm not sure that it will be several hours if work. I have chassis rebuild several times in the past to get it low enough, proportional and narrow as it should be for this scale and at the same time to allow small steering circle and max suspension traveling with yellow shocks...just a glimpse info - to make drivetrain (4wd + engine), steering, front and rear PTO and front and rear 3 point hitch I have used 10 CV joints and 16 universal joints
  13. I usually buy sets as parts pack and here in Croatia only Arocs had a decent price from licensed sets due to damaged box...
  14. @vectormatic Perhaps is solution to lower the chassis a little bit like hot rods have ... I was thinking on something like this:
  15. Indeed, I'm even building JCB Fastrac at the moment and Bella the Terrier is jealous on my hobby...
  16. and I have Yorkshire Terrier as you can see on my avatar That is wired combo for tractor mocers...
  17. That is already lot of work done. It is nice parts pack, but somehow rally car from last year is more interesting, perhaps because there are proportional issues with Porsche...
  18. I suppose that set 42094 gave you idea...sorry to here that 8 X 8 tatra styled truck will be history but you have final in your projects.
  19. It could squeeze if you use something thin like technic triangle to connect cylinder banks...
  20. IMHO this hotrod is better that A model, and your effort is more than appreciated
  21. More images are always welcome. I envy you on Blue 20 clutched gear (I need one to finish my Fastrac), but I'll wait until it will be available here. Somehow I have feeling that my Fastrac is actually biggest moc desirable with ~~ 46 studs long, ~~21,5 studs width, ~~26 studs height, but you know best how your moc performs.
  22. That is my philosophy (at least so far) - always put a fake engine in moc.
  23. This one is real monster; if you continue building so big, you will need licences for this It looks very well shaped. I personally plan to keep my mocs assembled (but my wife is starting to understand because parts tend to worn out or even to brake, and after several usage they are extremely loose) Just one question - did you plan to integrate all of your mocs in one tread?
  24. I also think it will be second type and it could be easily this black and red color combination because there are already available all needed parts in this colors, or TLC is planing to make bigger model with new xl sprockets ?
