Hasbro previewed one of their TFA toys at Comic Con. Hope rekindled to see a TFA LEGO set! The movie panel will start in less than one hour. Apparently, it's heavily focusing on Kylo Ren. I highly doubt that LEGO would connect this to their set reveal, but I'd love to see the leaked image in its actual form - and the Kylo Ren minifig!

Very nice build!

Thanks for sharing! Rey looks perfect! And it also alleviates my fear that Kylo Ren might not get a new mask piece. I was expecting a Darth Revan-treatment with the mask simply printed on the head piece. But if so much effort goes into Rey's outfit, there is no way THE face of Episode VII won't have its helmet/mask mold, is there? Not only that! The sets will be out three months before the movie's release. Any spoilers will have as much impact in September as they would right now.

SPOILER WARNING The information below contains speculation about an upcoming Episode VII set - based on recent information of the movie's cast.

Oh, it would be terribly disappointing not to see a TFA set. :(

It's official that there will be a set reveal at Saturday, 11am (LEGO twitter). What's everybody's guess what it'll be? Rey's Speeders seems very likely to me, as we've already seen the parts in the catalogue. The Millennium Falcon also seems to be an option, as this vessel seems perfect to pique interest in fans of the original trilogy. Then again, the Falcon has been done in LEGO before. Finally, Kylo Ren's shuttle! Kylo seems to be THE face of Episode VII, so I think it would make sense to promote him further.

If that rumour is true, it would be very fitting to preview the associated LEGO set. That would make me really happy!

Loving it! Well done!

Great to see Minas Tirith reaching 10,000. The beacons are lit! On another note, I can't believe we're discussing the outcome of an ent being destroyed by a balrog.

I purchased the Witch-king set, which is truly great for the minifigs alone. I didn't realise how splendid Galadriel's cape looked, and even a third Elrond mini fig is most welcome. The Witch-king, as much as I'd love to have him in his LotR outfit, is also nicely done. I find the other three sets so poorly designed that I opted to discontinue my Hobbit collection and bought two Star Wars sets instead. In fairness, I think the movie quality has also diminished my interest in anything 'The Hobbit'. On the positive side, the latest instalment can only exceed my ridiculously low expectations. I haven't watched trailers, teasers or rumours - simply out of disinterest - and prepare myself for an hourly long, physics-defying CGI battle with yet more cringe-worthy dwarven comedy/ stupidity and a drawn-out Hollywood love story between Kili and Tauriel in a film disrespecting Tolkien's writing.

Hey guys, can anybody tell me whether the Darth Maul head piece would fit onto my Darth Maul minifigure? I have the earliest version, I think, as I bought it in 2002 or 2003. Also, does anybody know a fitting cape for the new Yoda figure? -
I just purchased my first SW sets since my wife bought me the Jedi Defense set back in 2002. I love the a-wing and, in particular, the fantastic x-wing model. I thought about getting the Millennium Falcon instead but decided to wait for a hopefully improved version for Episode VII. I also turned to Bricklink as I really wanted the updated Yoda figure and a flesh-coloured Obi-Wan for my very modest collection. Next up on the wish list: Boba Fett, a few stormtroopers and a new Emperor.

What would you like for the next Castle line?
Lynx replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm afraid the end of the Lord of the Rings sets will send me back to the LEGO dark ages. The only theme I could see myself getting a set in would be the Forestmen - for nostalgia's sake. -

Absolutely phenomenal! Now awaiting your to-scale Smaug. :D -
Thanks for sharing those pictures, Cammo! Galadriel looks absolutely fantastic! If I'm not mistaken, her cape is actually white on the inside and sparkles silvery on the outside.

Thanks for your answers regarding mold cost, Faefrost and Deatchleech!

I feel exactly the same. Unthinkable before An Unexpected Journey, the non-dwarf action has become my favourite part of the movie. To me, these segments represent a much-needed break from the fast-paced onslaught of dwarven silliness. I'm simply a fan of the darker, more serious tone. It's almost as if a glimpse of the Lord of the Rings shines into the Hobbit movies.

Excellent build!
