I'm still looking forward to that Encounter on Jakku set. It could be nicely integrated into a Jakku diorama with Rey's speeder - or even a large Niima Outpost MOC featuring the Millennium Falcon, a tie fighter flying overhead and plenty of destruction.

Finally found some images of the new sets. The luggabeast looks really big and with plenty articulation. But it looks sooooo much brighter and more colourful than in books and the movie, doesn't it? I really like the teedo's head mold! Unkar and his store are to pixelated to form an opinion on for me. I am surprised about the new (sort of) X-Wing so soon after LEGO released Poe's black edition. The colour scheme is great, but I'm not sure many owners of the black/ orange X-Wing would willingly part with 120 $ (Australian) to get a recoloured carbon copy of the recent model.

Yes! Great news about the LEGO Force Awakens game. My first thought: We'll get a glimpse of LEGO Luke Skywalker! Wouldn't that be the perfect opportunity to include Luke as a pre-order bonus?!?

German newspaper/ website "Die Welt" reported a RRP of 2.99 Euro and a limited release in quantity (2.2 million) and locality (Germany).

I just stumbled upon this on the Eurobricks homepage and had to leave a comment. Absolutely amazing and - in my eyes - undoubtedly the most deserving creation of the first place! It's unique, extremely well executed and ridiculously creative. Well done!

Does anybody know why Leia has a hole on top of her hairpiece? It looks so obvious that I'm afraid it'll bother me a lot.

I'd love Luke Skywalker from The Force Awakens more than any other minifig.

Two things I found a DC book ("The Force Awakens - Incredible Cross Sections") made me appreciate the FO Transporter even more: * the cockpit is very accurate (the illustration shows a pilot standing upright in it) * the popping-gunner play feature is also spot-on! The image actually shows a stromtrooper on a raised platform and a round hatch granting access to the gun

I know it's a stretch, but I'd be very happy if the Encounter on Jakku would be ... Spoiler, don't click unless you watched the movie

Thanks for sharing the photos! I looked at the Battle of Takodana and thought: "Wow, nice way to get Kylo and Ren - with Maz on top!" Then I noticed the two troopers.... amazing! I love the transporter's look, too. A strange, and possibly highly impractically, design - particularly from a pilot's perspective, yet intriguing. The Leia minifig is obviously a huge selling point.

If you mean 'see in stores', the catalogue image of the (presumed) Battle of Takodana set reads 'January 1st'.

Thanks for sharing! These are great for the most part! I'll finally be able to get Boba Fett, Jawas and Threepio! :D And an updated Artoo on top of it! The Resistance BP looks fantastic - aside from the stud shooter weapons. Only disappointment is the First Order BP. Exchange that crew member with a stormy, and I'd buy multiples.

Looks awesome! The colour scheme and wings transfer the (in my opinion) bland and mediocre model into a fantastic set! Very sleek, menacing and worthy of major villain :)

What you see on the photos has been achieved from a rather recent return from the dark ages and with two inexpensive bricklink orders (less than 50 Australian Dollars, including shipping). I only had Lord of the Rings sets to take parts from, but the amount was surprising. Even some rare pieces were hidden in some unusual spots (a piece under the stairs of Attack on Wheathertop, for instance, which is not even visible). Altogether, I'd estimate it's more than 50% that I colour-swapped. And I still need some bits and wand to improve upon the front window (trans-red tile instead of black and trans-red cheese slopes). If you have a huge brick collection, it might be worthwhile to build the set with your existing bricks and get Kylo via brick link. I don't think there are any unique part, and the set does not need any stickers. Thanks for posting the pictures, belkor!

Thanks for sharing! I didn't even know you could get those cheese slopes in trans-red. I currently have a black tile sitting atop the window and would love to change it.

I'm in the middle of changing Kylo Ren's shuttle to its black colour scheme. I'm still missing some bricks, but I'd say it's 95% completed. I took four photos but haven't used flickr in ages and simply don't have the nerve to set up a new account/ work out the program for a few pictures. If anybody has any interest in sharing those photos on Eurobricks (in case anybody is considering the colour swap and wants an idea whether it's worth it), you're most welcome to send me a PM with your email address and can post the pics in here.

Does anybody know at what frequency the DK Character Encyclopaedias are released? I'd like to see one that includes the Force Awakens characters.
