  1. Absolutely wow wow wow! Landscape, dirt road, wheels, figure placement... spectacular! On a side note, I never noticed LEGO triceratops. Wish I had those as a kid!
  2. I just saw that in your signature of the goblin MOC. What a fantastic house! And congratulations on taking the price!
  3. Awesome! And the boat is beautiful, too!
  4. Thanks a lot!
  5. Wow! What did you use for the black dome of the mill? Is that a LEGO piece? If so, where can I find it, please?
  6. Incredible MOC!
  7. Ok, here's my top 3 most wanted: 1. Osgiliath army builder set with Faramir, Gondor Ranger, Gondor Soldier and three orcs 2. Witch-King battle with molded fell beast, Witch-King of Angmar, Merry & Eowyn in Rohan armour 3. Minas Tirith (preferable an abstract model that depicts the city as castle - similar to Nuju Metru's Cuusoo project)
  8. I'd like to add: - the tower of Cirith Ungol (could have so many functions of orcs and uruks flying all over the set!) - Amon Hen (Boromir's last stance) - Henneth Annun (base of the Ithilien Rangers) - Dunharrow (with the movies had the Stone of Erech in them, which would make a nice set) - Minas Morgul (to complete the Two Towers) - Ferry in Buckland There we go. Wave number 5.
  9. Even more reason to not worry about repeating what we like to see! Thanks for the update on Orthanc, also! My thoughts exactly, although I'd replace the armoured orc with a Guard of the Citadel. I just love Beregond and was immensely disappointed that he was absent from the movies. I'd also be very happy to see Ithilien Rangers, but they would rank after the above. Faramir is clearly no 1, though!
  10. And not just SW fans! I have two SW sets from 1999 and a Yoda keychain, but the Ewok Village looks better with every review!
  11. We could just stop posting in this thread entirely, since everything has been said and suggested multiple times. I think a great part of being a member of this community is sharing the excitement for upcoming sets, enthusiasm for wishes and support each other in that regard. I am aware that Alcarin keeps repeating himself, but who are we to deny him voicing his opinion? He is not exactly causing inconveniences for anybody by e.g. having a massive signature or repeatedly posting pictures that cause slow loading times for anybody using handheld devices. There is always the option to ignore his posts if you have read it before, but let's not forget that we might welcome new members over the course of the next year. I suggest we make this forum as welcoming as possible by allowing each member to contribute in her/ his own way, as long as this is respectful. Have you two given your support to the Edoras CUUSOO project? Here's a link in case you are interested. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/36278
  12. Agreed! And at a larger quantity, please. Assembling a Rohan army is difficult enough with just one common soldier ever released in a relatively cheap set. Try building the army of the dead! And yes, Ithilien Rangers vs. Haradrim would make an excellent set!
  13. I also expect one more wave. We have already seen a fully designed Lothlorien set in the video game, and I don't believe LEGO would miss the opportunity to release a balrog set. If I remember correctly, LEGO responded to a consumer complaint regarding the lack of female characters by promising the inclusion in future sets (via Facebook). Sure, we have seen Arwen and Tauriel, but Eowyn is arguably (actually hard to argue otherwise) the most heroic female character in the Hobbit/ Lord of the Rings. Finally, an Osgiliath set similar to the Uruk-hai Army would make sense from a financial standpoint. A Gondorian helmet would be the only new mold required. New printing for Faramir and Gondor soliders/ Rangers plus Gondorian shields, and the set is good to fly of the shelves all over the world! After the last Hobbit movie all bets are off. I am not very optimistic, since I remember a report concerning the significant financial drop in sales of licensed sets in non-movie years. Hopefully we'll get confirmation of the continuation of the line with the new Hobbit instruction booklets!
  14. Another great member of Thorin & Company.! I hope you'll post a photo of all those dwarves together, once your project is finished (or you're running out of bricks)
  15. Reminds me of Radaghast's Rhosgobel - but set in the classic LEGO Castle theme. Excellent build!
  16. I love War in the North! I mostly played with Eradan, and I like your version - and the whole build.
  17. The smoke really stands out! Nice little MOC! I did not know there were LEGO goats!
  18. Nice build Nightstalker! I love the colourfulness of it, the royal feeling to it and the expression on the parents' faces!
  19. Yes, I think these guys would look great as actual minifigs!
  20. Council of Elrond (due to absence of Tower of Orthanc from the list). The Black Gate is a close second, although you really need a second tower to make it look good, in my opinion. The Wizard Battle ist third on my list: great small set! The Pirate Ship Ambush is the only Middle-earth set I haven't purchased. No interest.
  21. Thanks for posting! This makes me hopeful that the Lord of the Rings line may continue for another year or two.
  22. Have you seen the video game Easterlings, Alcarin? They look fantastic! Imagine LEGO would go all out and give us Haradrim (not sure if the headpiece would be new), Easterlings (new helmets), Rangers, Gondor Soldiers with new helmet, printed shields and armour, Citadel Guards (new, 'winged' helmet), the Witch-King (new helmet), Eowyn (reprinted Rohan helmet) and a molded Fellbeast. :D This line is oozing with potential, and I will openly weep when it comes to an early end.
  23. The Balrog set could contain Moria Orc helmets exclusive to the set (designs seen in the video game).
  24. Thanks for the info. This set looks REALLY tempting even for a modest Star Wars fan like myself.
  25. That Gameboy Transformer is fantastic! Is the Transformers franchise owned by Hasbro, though? It would be difficult to get that license, since Hasbro is certainly a competitor. Nintendo's license shouldn't be that difficult to get, I assume. My interest is in the Lord of the Rings, and I love the Minas Tirith and Edoras projects. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/36275 http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/36278 I created a smaller Lord of the Rings project in which I attempted to capture the flair of the 80s Forestmen sets and shamelessly provide the link for it here: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/45646
