Or..... maybe! This new Death Star set is actually multiple sets combined! Like, how in the DS set we have the final duel room. What are we getting now? A larger final duel room! What will we get next? Perhaps a larger more detailed hangar bay, or a trash compacter room! And all these can be spliced together to create one massive Death Star playset!! Jokes :P

Are you actually serious? We're not talking about a £30 or £80 set here. We're talking about a £275 set which is quite a lot to the majority of people to throw at a Lego set that has been out for 8 years, the market is well and truly saturated with them by now, their sales of them are probably trickling along (but still nicely) at a slow pace. It isn't a set that most people will have bought and then would be happy to throw even more money at (because as the rumour [i use the word rumour loosely here] says, it'll be bigger which means more money) get the 'ever so slightly updated' version. The only way it could really get better is if they put panels over the top of it so it could double up having the exterior look of a DS while still having all the play functions on the inside. The inside can't really be done that much better because at the end of the day, it still has to have its solid playability that can take a beating by kids, hence, in such a small space for those multiple rooms, solid builds=/= increase in detail in spaces already small. Outdated figs (which let's be honest, are still pretty damned decent and still retain a modern Lego look about them) isn't much of an excuse to rehash a £275 set. Heck, the current one isn't even retired yet and there is this 'rumour' of a new one to take its place next year? Since when in the history of Lego, on something this scale, ever had rumour of a new version of it to be released the very next year while the current one is still for sale on TLG website? What in all of that does make sense?!

Your source April Fooled you is all I can guess I literally will NEVER believe this until I actually see pictures. It makes literally NO sense whatsoever to replace it with a bigger one, regardless of however it is designed.

It was April Fools. I've learned to literally take no word as truth on April Fools as you will literally feel like a fool... Ive had my fair share of it too (Thanks AmeriBricks! ) No replacement Death Star playset is all you need to know.

Its nice... But it is essentially exactly the same as BrickPlumbers ( ), except for the lower rear compartment having speeders, the floor levels being exactly the same (if you designed it yourself, it would have been a perfect opportunity to correct that issue) minus a few things that made his winch work, and a few minute details in the head. Everything externally looks exactly the same However, it has made me realise I need to make the walls on mine more angled inwards at the top

I absolutely LOVE these! I'm currently playing WoT so am quite familiar with most of these tanks, and have to say from what I've seen, you have managed excellent representations! The Tiger 1, Maus, T95, JT and stug iii are especially recognisable. A request if possible... To make my favourite tank, the Ferdinand?

If you mean regardless what wave they are from, id say there are a good deal of decent sets out at the moment. The rebels tie advanced, the at-dp, the T16 sky hopper, the battle packs this year i think are excellent for minifigs, the atat, at-ap, star destroyer, mos eisley cantina, all good sets in my opinion. Not to mention the ucs slave 1 :-)

Absolutely brilliant! The details achieved on such an extremely small scaled building and yet, everything looks right about it, and the styling certainly achieves that 'mental hospital' feel to it!

I would get them, if you can spare the money for them. Then look to modify the Ghost making it larger and more closer to what you would want it to be. The phantom is a neat little set as it is, I think. And while TLG are known for rehashing sets, I wouldn't like to make an assumption both of these will be redone in a few years time.

Depends how much you really want it to be honest. I went on ebay to get 7662 knowing full well that 75058 would be out shortly because I think the newer one is rather lacking overall compared to the older one. The price was very reasonable too. I got lucky and paid £85 (inc p&p) for mine which included both instruction books and the box whereas the rrp new one is what, £90? Purely depends on your preference. After seeing the new one come out, it decided for me I'd either get 7662 or none of them.

Those things you have done with the grills... sliding door, prison door viewing port with the non stud attached grill...! Not to mention I love that game! And always found the train level fun to play. I think you captured it brilliantly =D Perhaps a few 2x2 round trans clear plates with a http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2654 attached to it might help with the image of a hover train a little :) (and add some gliding capability to the carpet swooshing )

Absolutely love this! Especially the AH-1Z... reminds me of BattleField 2 Do you know if this would hold up in real bricks? I can't believe how well this has been done, all the little details, there literally is no mistaking it at all!

Totally agree with Tjahzi. The recent gunship having retired will get more difficult/expensive to get hold of, and is a really nice set. Not to mention you can save up in the mean time to get the shuttle which wont be going out of production for at least a year yet

Every time I see someone elses 10179 makes me want to start my own, but funds are always so tight and I need the money for lots of other things/projects :( On the other hand, I actually much prefer the brick built radar dish like yours over the printed dish. It looks so spot on that had I not known it is supposed to have a printed dish, it looks like it belongs there. The rear engines look really nice too, a very good alternative. Nice Falcon! Really nice room too!

I completely disagree with your judgement that a 'worthy rumour' doesn't exist. Of course it does, we know that should a rumour come from some previous source that has pretty much always got it right before, it is a worthy rumour. There is nothing wrong with the LOTR rumour thing either, as you correctly said, a rumour is a rumour. But it is very easy for me to suddenly say that TFA has everyone from ROTJ in it, and sets being released are this that and the other. Im not a reliable source for a rumour in general, unless I find a reliable source. I'd be making my own stuff up or listing what I would like to see. That doesn't make a rumour. You are confusing what people have posted rumours of sets are/to be/contain with speculation. I've gone back 18 pages and found the list of aforementioned rumours. There is nothing stating what the sets are/going to be, but only that they contain a certain piece count. That is all, hence your list of what you speculate the sets ot be. And from the website it came from as the source, is quite obviously a 'worthy rumour' source. I could speculate to advance on current rumours, but that is still speculation. This thread doesn't have to have some new info posted on it every single day, it is fine for it to simply exist until something worthy appears. It is also perfectly fine to speculate in the 'Future Star Wars Sets' thread. And when the speculation becomes less speculation, more a rumour with some sort of source, by all means, crack on with bringing it here. But why feel the need that it MUST be speculated in this thread when there is one more dedicated to it?!

Because this year there is a film out that people would like to know least possible about while keeping up with Lego. That is not contradicting either. Using a little common sense people can get the 'gist' of what rumours are worthy rumours and what are simply speculation or peoples wish lists etc. and therefore, what can and shouldn't be talked about. Every year people break rules, why should this year be any different? Because for once, for this year... that a film is coming out... it would be nice that people actually followed rules.

This is a rumour thread not a speculation thread. If you want to theorise on what sets could be released, again... the Future Star Wars thread is there, and free to use. Why people feel that 'their' speculation doesn't belong in the future star wars sets thread is beyond me... This thread is intended for rumours with a form of source. Quite simply, ask any long standing mod and they will say this. ps I can very easily avoid watching any trailer for any film. But avoiding peoples speculation in a rumour thread where it doesn't belong is difficult to do.

Of course sets are going to be discussed on this forum, but as of yet, no one knows what the sets are. So throwing out guesses with speculation/educated guesses with tidbits of information behind those guesses is where the spoiler issue comes into play. Im not daft, I do fully understand that TFA sets are going to be discussed as and when more info is reliably released on them, but absolutely no one at this point has any solid rumours with sources. So anything regarding content up to this point is literally pointless discussing in this topic about TFA, but should be discussed in this http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102215 thread. I am sorry, but it is becoming more and more frequent where people list their wants/guesses/wish lists in this rumours/pictures topic where it has been said many times that stuff belongs in the Future Star Wars sets topic. If it isn't a rumour, or a picture, or a discussion about the rumour/picture/confirmed rumour/release, then it doesn't belong here, but in the Future Star Wars Sets discussion topic. This isn't the only topic in this forum. Pictures of actual TFA sets won't necessarily cause spoilers, but people listing reasons why these sets were released or chosen etc, can be avoided.

Sir Gareth hit the nail on the head. The answer isn't to avoid this topic entirely, as it is easily possible for the rumours to be discussed without other spoilers. This isn't future sets 'guess list/wish list/this set will probably be released because this is in the film' topic, it is 2015 rumours and pictures. So leave it as such and be thoughtful of others when you post and what you post....
