Patty or Selma could have come with Jub Jub, their lizard pet, but I get why also the eye test. Have to say, very impressed by the series 2 line up. The figs look excellently detailed, although maggie again is a bit of a bore... Could have even left her out for a different character in her place which might have been better. As for the Kwik-e-mart, yeah the price is relatively high. But, they have included a LOT of new printed parts which are pretty decent for anything. Not to mention the build itself is pretty dam good looking, Snakes printing is brilliant (arm printing!) and all the little extra details. Cant wait to get it.

I really like this a lot, it looks perfect to me... Up until the nose :( it just seems slightly too bulky to me :s I do love the body though and the fact R2 can fit in it snuggly. One day Ill do one of these and use my action fleet e-wing as reference. I do love seeing other people make these, especially this good as it gives me something to aim to!

You are far from alone, as I alluded to earlier, this has been brought up many many times and gets heated between both sides quite quickly which usually ends in a debate over what UCS *actually* means, which never gets agreed upon, a mod comes along and people change subject. I am with you that it would be nice to see things done that have yet to be done by TLG, and I think they hit the nail on the head with the Slave 1 while the Tie leaves a lot to be desired (just have a look at the MOC someone posted in the ucs tie thread for an example). The MF was pretty spot on considering how many years ago it was done, so a new version would have high expectations placed upon it instantly. Anything new and not done yet would of course be better and not judged on a previous iteration, more on the source material alone. Im hoping that the unfounded, but still a rumour, that the Hoth base is actually an ATAT is true as the motorised version wasn't really something Id be happy to have as a display piece next to the beautifully designed 10212 or Slave 1, but something id have said is a nice gimmicky lego plaything... Now Im going completely off topic :s -

I bought minimum 5500 pieces to make a minifig scaled AT-AT. If they release a UCS one, do i have a right to 'feel robbed'? God no! Thats how it goes regardless of the name or letters on the box (of a mf). It's business. Id be happy knowing I have the option to buy a better one if I wanted to, or make do/be happy with the one I have. Anyhoos... This has been brought up many times about the 10179, the donkey has been dead for years and doesnt need to be beaten anymore. TLG will do what TLG will do. -
Interesting :D have you tried with the full length legs and with weights on the flat top representing the weight of the body/head?

Ahh ok, fair enough, I see where you are coming from. :) -
Please... No.... I like star wars lego because it is completely far removed from crapball (football). Not to mention it is against the rules to simply advertise a lego ideas project here...

Im rather curious, how come that spoiler makes irrelevant you getting the set? I mean, if you liked the set before, why would that stop you? I dont mean to question your own perogative, but im genuinely interested in how or why. I mean, -
Your best bet would be to stop collecting/army building then ;) I can see it is annoying, but it is the natural progression TLG is going to go, for whatever reason.

I won't be cutting my nose to spite my face. No they're not perfect, but I'm not going to snuff my nose at them because they're no longer perfect. They are an easily attainable 'version' of a Stormtrooper that is only different to those that care for exact details. If I am going to army build with Stormtroopers, I'll be jumping at these as they are the closest we can VERY easily get for now. I'm just thinking of the amount of people that will not get them now, then regret it later...

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

I never did pick up the previous sith infiltrators because i just wasnt too keen on the designs... With the fact I dont have half of the minifigs that are listed to come with it that I would actually like, I know the designers have come a long way and I may be tempted this time round to get one. Interesting potential news about the UCS Hoth base/ATAT... Will be following that with a keen eye :) -

10195 was perfectly suitable. Im seeing a hell of a lot of 'I wish they'd do this, or that or they could have done...'. Its getting annoying reading through peoples wish lists in a rumours/discussion topic of 2015 sets. If I wanted to do that, Id go to the future Star Wars sets topic... -
I like it, much better than the oversized set that TLG did. And more poseable too from the looks of it. Really nice job!

[MOC] WIP modifying LEGO 75095 UCS TIE fighter
Fuppylodders replied to sparkart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I quite like it, and the pilot makes it more enjoyable for the eye! One thing I am unsure of is the radar dish on top, it almost appears to be like a hat than part of the roundness of the ship...? -

People keep mentioning about a storm trooper transport... I wonder, if it would be an imperial landing craft? -

It is also really irritating me now lol... The 1x1 brick doesn't like staying attached to the bottom of the 1x2 jumper stud plate (no pin on the underside of this version of jump[er plate) Dam that lack of clutch power :( But thank you for your comments people :) -

That furniture <3 The way the black ghost (i forget their name :( ) is coming out of the closet is rather realistic. The flooring looks natural and easy on the eye which is really good. I reallyclike this moc, well done!

Seeing your previous stuff I am not surprised to see you attempting the impossible with some sort of success =D It certainly looks like it floats along even if you can't see the air between the board and the surface it is on :P Most impressive stuff yet again!

Moc Microfighter AT-AT/AT-ST/Snowspeeder
Fuppylodders replied to Fuppylodders's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think the feet were the first thing that came to me, and the 1x1 round plates just sort of finished them off. I actually thought that was an at-st driver >.< Ill have to look into what is the correct fig to use. I do like TLGs version and yes it does lookclike a dog, which makes it cute! So im looking forward to getting one :D -
See... Now THAT is a Tie id be happy to get without a second thought. The ball design is just that, and imitates e 'real' tie much better. I don't get... Really dont get why TLG cant do something like that? Much better looking, much nicer design easier the eyes. TLG could learn from that.

[MOC] Old Republic - Crimson Pilgrim
Fuppylodders replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Bob, I literally have no idea why you are not working for TLG already. I mean seriously, you are blatantly appearing to be the next Mike Psiaki. What is exceptionally brilliant about it is not only its interior and various functions, but the fact it is from your imagination and looks precisely like it came from TOR, and not a fan made/designed model. Please, just please, do not stop giving us these amazing creations. Your talent is easily up there with the best. -
So, being rather busy with life at the moment, a severe lack of money, multiple lego projects that I keep switching between and having nothing to show for any of it for ages, I decided I'd finish something I feel is within budget... sorta... All of these were done without looking at any other reference images of anyone elses as well as TLGs versions. The AT-AT has been finished in LDD for quite some time now, but I have only just finished the AT-ST and decided to make a Snowspeeder to go with them. At the time I did the snowspeeder TLG had released theirs already but I hadn't had a look at it, so I ensured I didn't so that I wouldn't copy any part of their design. And to be honest, I think it is my favourite as not only is it smaller (I think) but it is very sturdy for some swooshing :P The AT-AT is generally sturdy, apart form the 1x1 brick with studs on all sides that the legs are attached to. They keep detaching from the body so I'll have to figure out some way of making it less likely to fall off. Once standing, it is very sturdy, but it is just the 1x2 jumper plate that is lacking in clutch power (dam you modern lego!) which is the concern. Maybe the 1x1 jumper stud plate with the pin in the underside would be the better one to use... haven't tried it yet. The AT-ST is relatively sturdy, but likes to come apart at the 1x1 round plate on the legs. That is the only real issue with it, but, to keep it looking like it does, can't really be changed. Again, a lack of clutch power. Its body is really sturdy though. I've already been told that the AT-AT is less microfighter, more mini detailed AT-AT... but I'm fine with that, it is a nice criticism . Not the initial look I was going for, but it is finished and still looks good :) Comments and criticism is welcome :)

That looks really good! And I like how the head walls neatly fit against the front face. Oh, speaking of which, any chance of a pic of the front? Interior looks nice and spacey which is pretty cool!
