  1. Where exactly do I obtain these instructions? While I'm swamped with lego and have no space anywhere.... This set simply prioritises itself over any life issues I may be facing Except that canopy... I may have to make do with a plain clear non-printed version... Can't justify spending 1/3rd the price of the original set on a single piece included in that set... *edit Oh crap... Even the shape is unique to that set... :( I'll just have the atmospheric open cockpit version instead
  2. Well there's another capitalisation/noncapitalisation acronym I wasn't aware of! We lego enthusiasts are one hell of a difficult bunch of hobbyists And, admittedly speaking for myself only, a little too hot headed on the emotionally invested side of it Adventurers came and went during my dark ages, I had no idea it was as big as it was (let alone Bionicle if I'm honest) until the fan vote and it was right up there! My own assumption, trying to think as logically as possible, given how many accounts signed up after to show support for Bionicle due to the fact no other system sets held any interest to the Bionicle fans whereas system lego fans are always floating around because typically there is always something of interest to them, I'd say they wouldn't have fared so well as they did. Perhaps 3rd at best I'd imagine, but I'd hazard a guess at anywhere between (including) 3rd and 5th. I'm not sayin that's the position they truly deserved, far from it. I'm simply saying, due to the lack of bionicle sets, and therefore the lack of hold lego currently has over bionicle fans, that disinterest would have reduced their votes enough to drop them a few places. Again, purely an assumption.
  3. Forgot about them to be honest (and their sets were decent too, but never had them) and power miners although not sure where that was set exactly, I just loved the little transparent bodied little rocklings. In my personal view, I believe they could be classed as a space theme, but can also understand to a degree of it not falling in line with the typical 'Space' theme as, it's all underground stuff. I'm not getting dragged into a debate on that, asides from the fact I don't mind what people class that one as, this debate is more than enough for me Not quite. Well, mostly right, except classic space is the blue/gray with trans yellow. The hypothesised set you state has no potential to fall under it. Even TLG class classic space as the blue/gray/trans yellow subtheme. The branding of that is the logo. To all intents and purposes, 'classic space' is as much a brand as m-tron, blacktron, and bionicle. Google the word 'lego classic space' and you'll see nothing but gray/blue/trans yellow and the moon logo with rocket ship. Space is a theme, correct. But there has become an indistinct definition and seperation of what space fans mean by 'Space' and 'space'. I guess it can be slightly confusing, but it's a similar mindset for the most part throughout space fans. I had a similar mindset I naturally gravitated towards before realising it was an actual thing others did as well (perhaps not the capitalisation of one and not the other to distinguish, but the word 'space' having 2 seperate definitions when it comes to what type of space sets are meant). Space is the subthemes I mentioned previously (while having missed out a few. Yes, I'd also include SP3, as the slight straying of design is simply modern techniques and newer part availability. The essence was still very much prevailant and there). That includes Classic Space. It's the style. Then there is 'space'. This is the main overbearing generic 'anything to do with space'. Such as Saturn V, women of nasa, the recent city space sets (60226 as example), the ISS, the rover etc. Similarly for Bionicle fans where some would be happy for anything bionicle related or similar (HF/KK/Bionicle g1/Bg2 etc) there are those die hards that only will be happy getting Bionicle G1 or whatever their preference is. Same thing goes for Space, I'd personally be happy for anything in the style of the list I previously mentioned while having a preference for some. I didn't collect classic space, but I'd certainly be more than happy if something classic space themed was made. Others, may only be happy if it's only classic space and not something else. Nope, my 'rudeness' (frustration) was purely because you were still trying to justify the idea that the globe could in any stretch or manner be classed as a space set when it just can't. It's a tedious link with a ridiculous degree of seperation that is absurd to logically believe authentic. If you want to go that route, then bionicle is also space. Set on another planet in different worlds, which, you know, float in space therefore, bionicle is actually space. Castle could be considered a space theme because, if they look up at the sky, what do they see? Stars, and the sun and space... So, space. Trolls is space because I'm certain the creators were originally stoned when coming up with the idea of little naked people with massive neon hair and so were spaced out. Thus, being a space set. *If* the globe didn't have its base, and arch that supports the rotating axis, but was instead presented sat on a transparent stand made of transparent clear bricks because its meant to be an actual representation of the actual earth, *then* I could get on board believing it *could* potentially fall under the category of 'space' (generic space, not Space). But it has that base and arch, it's clearly depicting a model found in people's living rooms or offices or class rooms etc. That's all it is. TLG know better than to try advertise that to space (especially Space) fans.
  4. You literally contradict yourself from one paragraph to the next. If blacksmith can fit under a castle name then globe can be space. Both are under the Ideas brand name. Which as you say, bionicle is a brand name etc. Therefore, by your own reasoning, as the globe and medieval blacksmith are under the Ideas brand, they can't be castle or space. If you *still* want to argue after that, then I'll point out you are *entirely* missing the point of what people who want space sets are after, and what they consider as a space set. Sets in the style of classic space (blue, gray, trans yellow); blacktron1/2; spyrius; ice planet; m-tron; space police 1/2/3, exploriens, futuron etc. The coloured space sets with vehicles and transparent coloured pieces/canopies from yester-year of 2000 and before. Not a fkin globe that some random guy is going to attribute it to space so he can claim space fans 'have something'. Additionally, the globe set made no effort to advertise itself as a space set in a similar fashion as you claim the aquatic robot made no claim to be of bionicle. It did however make an attempt at advertising itself as a shelf decoration found in people's living rooms or offices etc. Because nowhere from space do you see a big metal bar going through the centre of the earth with a support holding it up. That globe set is a representation of a room decoration. You're not even clutching at straws. That's clutching at dust.
  5. Nope. You're one of just under 5% of bionicle fans according to solid facts.....
  6. Not really, but you're free to think as such
  7. Whatever floats your boat, you keep on with your delusions
  8. And there's the childish antagonising troll behaviour that makes you look pathetic. Crack on Sorry, my bad. It was a light hearted joke aimed at those claiming anything remotely connected to the word 'space' (such as a globe of the earth, Nexo Knights etc) was a Space set and therefore, that mixels must be themed as bionicle because ball joints....
  9. You can 'dude' me all you want. You're plucking guesses out of your butt and claiming as facts when they're not. Respect to you for popping up with that first paragraph I also agree on your view of the ideas page. I just don't feel like it's doing what it was originally designed for. I mean, a piano, a ball maze, a picture of a painting, a globe?? These aren't exciting sets... If you're not joking... You have to have a serious look at your education and upbringing if this is an acceptable conclusion for you. If you seriously do believe the globe to count as a space set, then what you bionicle fan complaining about not having any sets out? You have this: https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/underwater-robot-31090 You guys are claiming space and Castle fans have that anyway!! Hence why we say that, to show how ridiculous your claims are! Even I'll happily say mixels isn't bionicle, but if you claim absurdities like space has a frickin globe and nexo knights, then yes, mixels must count for Bionicle, as does the currently available underwater robot as linked to above. Just stop claiming those themes have sets when they're just not of that theme/meaning, it's just making you guys look desperate and presents you as trolls. *edit* I just remembered, I collected a lot of the mixels because they were awesome... Am I classed as a bionicle fan now? Or system? I feel I'm having an identity crisis
  10. The problem here, I hate to say, is TLG are under no obligation to redo/restart/try again/continue *any* prior theme regardless of how many people want it. That goes for Space, castle, and any other currently dead theme. People are taking this voting contest as a *right* to have their favourite theme restarted/reimagined. Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. However, yes, it does raise issues of individual tastes and differing preferences, as you rightly say, causing conflict. But a lot of that conflict, dare I say it, is a vocal number of bionicle fans claiming they had nothing since 2010-dismissing g2 as non existant while claiming space should be happy because they had a single large ship that happened to be perfect, a minifig pack in December 2018 and should be thankful and so don't deserve to have anything else ahead of bionicle. That castle have the medieval blacksmith. Bionicle fans are putting heavy weight on the couple of sets space/pirates/castle got while dismissing an entire wave that Bionicle got-regardless if it was rubbish or not, it was *still* actual bionicle. That simultaneous counter-intuitive dismissiveness alongside the exaggerating of literally a couple sets, while simultaneously dismissing the unfairness of Castle being split up in to subthemes entirely splitting up the votes of individual people while pitting it against a theme that does have a large niche following of people that many of which only care about bionicle and no other type of lego claiming it unfair that the unfairness was corrected... Resolve the dismissiveness and exaggerating and that'll ease it. As long as those 2 things exist? Nothing will be eased.
  11. Lego have a habit of surprising us now and then. However, if I'm honest, a genuine bionicle set probably won't be made. If they did, I do hope they do a good job and it satisfies the people that voted for it. I mean, if you're soooo insistent that they won't, then what was the point in voting at all? You have to have some hope for it to happen. Nah no need to be thankful at all. I don't think for one second that it goes without saying that the Bionicle vote was all for g1. There will be people out there that do like g2. You can't tell me absolutely no one bought the g2 sets, you're throwing huge exaggerated assumptions around.
  12. Its interesting how people still ignore the fact that the second fanvote results bears no direction to what set gets made and thus making it pointless to 'not allow bonkles to win!11!1', if Bionicle does win, it'll be shown to have won. Still doesn't mean that'll decide what set gets made. TLG are probably already making the set as we speak having already decided out of the 4. Additionally, it's interesting how you guys cling on to bionicle having more votes than any, yet bionicle wasn't split between g1, g2, and it's reboot, while castle was. Yet with castles subthemes pooled into one castle category as it should have been-- as TLG admitted how it should have been and was a mistake not to, that castle got 33k individual user votes, far exceeding bionicle.
  13. I think it's time we both exited this thread. Why you're having to repeat yourself over and over due to people making the same claims and ignoring the very same thing regarding bionicle is beyond me, people still not having a clue what 'Space' is compared to 'space', compared to 'classic space' despite having it explained over and over... I just can't do this anymore, am gonna start tearing my hair out any moment now
  14. You don't need to understand the lore. If you were able to Google how many sets nexo knights had in its time, then you can Google pictures and see for yourself how nexo knights tries to be castle in space. Then, Google pictures of 80s/90s space sets. Then Google Castle sets. Then genuinely tell me nexo knights is either of them.
  15. This is a lego forum.... There is an abundance of pedantry
  16. Well, teeeeeechnically.... Adding castle into the winner group adds castle to the option of it being made into a set, which adds a competitor to an already very competitive grouping. None of which will be chosen by the results of this second fan vote, but it does still add another competitor to those who were hoping pirates/space/bonkles (sorry, I just love that name for it , first time I seen it was in this thread!) would be made. Tbh, I'm not mad at all with it, it does correct their mistake a bit (how that even came to occur is a disgrace though, for such an obvious thing...) however I do hope they don't purely stick with 'classic space' even though it says it, if by some stroke of luck, that's what they make. Otherwise that's just carrying forward the mistake...
  17. Literally my point exactly Why do they insist castle=nexo knights? It just isn't. Unless the above counts, which, to them, it doesn't No. Castle isn't nexo knights. Danths point is Nexo knights is as much castle as bionicle is the star wars/Chima/knights kingdom constraction figs, which to you guys, just isn't bionicle. To castle guys, nexo knights just isn't castle. 'oh, but it's based on castle, just in space!'. No. Otherwise, 'oh but chima/star wars constraction/knights kingdom is just technic ball joint pieces shaped like posable figures so is based on bionicle.' Again no. So let's leave the nexo knights thing, yeah?
  18. I genuinely would choose bionicle over that I have to say... I really wish TLG would have set it up so the final round top 3 (well, now 4) would each have a set made for them and call it at that. I feel while you can't always please everyone, you literally could with one of each of the top 4...but now, some will feel like winners, and some will feel like losers, and I feel that tlgs 90th anniversary shouldn't be promoting that kind of feeling. It should revel in the nostalgia feelings, and a top 4 reimagined sets would do just that. I genuinely do feel bionicle fans should get something. While pirates got the luscious PoBB and space got bennys awesome ship, they haven't realistically got much else worthy outside of that (the pirate rollercoaster is a stretch and more a scrap of food than something solidly worthy of being classed as authentic pirates. The creator pirate ship is a nice attempt, I've no idea how actual pirate fans feel about it), and it's too easy to judge Castle in its rumoured creator set when it could be amazing, it could be crap. Currently, it's lacking. Outside of the blacksmith, I feel it needs some love. They all do. I truly hope space fans aren't put off by Classic Space not being grouped as space. Classic Space means nothing to me, but, I still voted for it because for me, it's still closest to where my heart started with lego.
  19. Then make sure to list any of the sub themes of space in the text box to make it clear to them
  20. They actually stated that even with reforming all the space subthemes together, it still didn't change the top 3 places, so they left it as it was. Essentially, their additional text box for the voter to add preferences, adds the ability to state a subtheme if so inclined, such as ice planet etc, thus enabling the inclusion of all space subthemes. So, space was given the same treatment as Castle, except it made no difference for space. If it helps, I still voted space! However, I wish the castle fans luck! No, it smacks of they realised they effed up in splitting up the Castle theme into sub categories. Imagine bionicle getting split up into g1, g2, and the reboot?! Yeah, it'd suck to lose votes for bionicle because some people voted for the reboot. Well, guess what, bionicle wasn't split up. But castle and space and pirates (to a much lesser extent) *were* split up, and it *drastically* affected the results and didn't show a true picture with respect to their intention (although it did show a detailed picture of subtheme preferences). I'll be honest. Your post smacks of 'we had a chance to win, because bonkles fo lyf! But castle gonna slaughter us now they put us on even ground with fair voting! Additionally, this second final vote bears no meaning to what they produce. They are going to produce what they want regardless who wins this current vote. And as a second Additionally, if Bionicle fans are going to keep referring to castle/space/pirates fans getting throwbacks or 'mentions' or references or other pointless stuff, then I'll do the same and point out how you had your reboot chance and effed it for yourselves by not buying it anyway and showing support for bionicle regardless, and the constraction figs from other themes (like SW, marvel or w/e it was) as throwbacks and tips of the hat to bonkles which puts you on an even footing with the other 3 themes you seem to have such huge disdain towards, while claiming the same thing about everyone being disrespectful of bionicle fans. I have no ill will at all towards bionicle or its fans. What I do find tiresome is how what I will assume is, the vocal minority, whining and trying to justify why bionicle deserves it over anything else, claiming this, that and anything else while ignoring similarities attached to bionicle, rather than just going with it, voting, and wishing everyone else good luck. I personally voted space. I wish all the others luck. Yep. That sincerely means bionicle too.
  21. Am waiting for the razorcrest to come back in stock. Received 2 notification emails today saying its back in stock. Was able to check15 minutes after the first notification, none in stock. Second notification, checked 7 minutes after receiving it, none in stock. Have phoned up customer service... Apparantly, its so popular, sooo many have signed up to receive the notification that by the time (or even before) all notifications have been emailed out, they've already all sold out. So, pointless... If you want it, just gotta keep refreshing the page yourself every day, every hour, every minute until you get one
  22. Reindeer still in stock in the uk, but no tan horse in stock :(
  23. Technically, final vote winner is irrelevant to the set they make. Whatever is going to be made, is a long way off being made known, so it's going to be speculation for ages
