  1. I've just caught up on Rebels and I realised how much the first lot of sets covers. Unlike TCW, keeping the plot central to Lothal has helped keep the number of characters and ships down to a more manageable amount. Here are a few ideas I think would be cool. I've only added characters which haven't appeared in the sets yet, so the six rebels, Kallas and imperials can be scattered in amongst the sets where relevant. Imperial Landing Craft (Yogar Liste, Maketh Tua, Dark Suited AT-DP Pilot, Cadets) Vizago's Freighter and Camp (Vizago, Asmorgian, Vizago's Droid, Lando, W1-LE) Imperial Communications Ship (Kassius Konstantine, Gall Trayvis, 264) Phoenix One (Jun Sato, Ahsoka, Rebel Soldiers) Phoenix Squadron (Phoenix Squadron Pilot) Rebel's Tie Fighter (Valon Rudor) Kanan and Sabine's Speeders There are also a couple of civilian speeders (V-35 and RGC-18) and the Star Commuter shuttle, which are probably of very little interest, but the two civilian speeders could be used to bulk up a set. Old Jho, Tseebo and Morad Sumar are probably the most interesting civilians, but Tskolo, Yoffar, Marida Sumar and Amda Wabo would be neat as well, meaning we get a Gotal and Aqualish mold. I'm really looking forward to more Rebels sets, I was just going to get the AT-DP, but now I think I'll get them all, except maybe the Wookiee ship :)
  2. As a UCS set, does the Sandcrawler look hugely out of scale when compared to normal sets, or does it fit in okay? Thanks
  3. Small thing I've noticed, the Falcon's headlights have gone from clear to red. My 2011 Falcon is fine. I think the interior may swing it for me. I'm almost caught up on the OT sets I'm after, just the Cantina, Shuttle and Sandcrawler to go. As Lotr/ Hobbit has ended, and assuming I like the new films, I'm looking forward to getting these sets :)
  4. I really like the look of this! I've got most Hoth sets, with the exception of 7666 and 75014, so this fills in a lot of features I didn't have models of. This looks like we get all the main characters EXCEPT General Rieekan. However, the moustachioed rebel seems to be Major Bren Derlin, which is neat. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Bren_Derlin Fun fact, he's played by John Ratzenberger, the man who voices a character in every Pixar film. I'll have to buy Rieekan separately, as well as buy a few more Hoth Pilots (I'm hoping to get eight), but it means I probably won't have to buy the 75049 Snowspeeder which will save me a bit :)
  5. Hi guys, I've been out of the loop for about a year, I was wondering if you could let me know if we reckon more PT/OT sets will be released in the near future (excluding the Tyderium, Final Duel and Hoth set) in light of TFA coming out in December, and Rebels Season 2 likely getting sets? Also, I've been looking at the Final Duel set, and although I really want the Luke and Vader figures, I'm not sure that along justifies the price. I was considering upgrading my 10188 Death Star to have a more detailed throne room, but I'm awaiting clearer pics to see how easy that would be :) Thanks! :)
  6. I'm hoping for this Luke in Final Duel http://www.jeditemplearchives.com/galleries/2011/Review_LukeSkywalkerEndorCaptureTVC/Review_LukeSkywalkerEndorCapture_stillB.JPG and this Han in Tydirium http://members.shaw.ca/david.p.z.888/star_wars/pics/han_solo_endor.jpg I know Han doesn't actually wear the coat on the shuttle, but it's been missed out of every Endor set so far. Maybe Luke could have his poncho as well, the only preivous release of that minifig was 1999! I'm glad we're getting another shuttle at long last. Maybe they could whack an Admiral Piett in there too!
  7. The Ion Cannon, Shield Generator and Medium Transport would be top of my list, with an update to the doors and control room coming after that. I reckon the hangar and medial bay will be in there, as well as a trench. Dish and tower turrets, along with probe droids and e-web blasters would be cool, but not essential, we've had loads of them over the years. Death star had 24 minifigs, UCS Sandcrawler had 14, so I think between those numbers is fair. Luke (Hoth, Injured, Pilot), Han (Hoth, Blue Coat), Leia, Chewie (new design), R2, 3PO, Darth Vader, Riekaan, 2-1B and Wedge have all been released before, but could be upgraded/updated. Generic Soldiers, Pilots and Snowtroopers are also cure to be in there. Ne minifigs could be Major Derlin, Hobbie, Wes, Luke in his recovery robes, Fixit, and even Ozzel and Veers in their imperial tunics.
  8. I know we haven't seen much of the battle yet, but it seems the Orcs are more in favour of catapults mounted on Trolls. Not saying they can't have two sorts of ballistic devices, but I don't think an army in Middle-earth has had more than one before. (awaits being corrected aha) Isengard - ballista, Mordor - catapult, Gondor - trebuchet.
  9. Screencap of the Dwarves if people haven't seen it. And the Lego version https://c2.staticfli...60b80ee5c_b.jpg Nice looking ballista but not the greatest representation.
  10. Oops, Smaug! I also missed out Radagast, my mistake. It certainly seems so. I would have assumed they were Orcish, considering the box art and also the fact the Uruk-Hai use them. However, when you see them in the trailer, they definitely have that 'Dwarvish' look.
  11. The Iron Hill Dwarves have the ballistas in the BOFA trailer. Only ones missing from the trailer are Dain, Beorn and Bard's children.
  12. This is stunning, could you upload some close ups if you get the chance? so many nice features, and Bagshot Row is coming along really well!
  13. Updates of: Stormtrooper Battle Pack - Stormtrooper x4 Snowtrooper Battle Pack - Snowtrooper x 4 Imperial Shuttle - Pilot, Stormtrooper, Jerjerrod, Endor Han (I know he doesn't wear the trench coat in the shuttle, but I can't think where else to put him) £50 TIE Bomber - Pilot, Needa, Black Officer £35 TIE Interceptor - Pilot, Death Star Trooper, Technician £35 Yoda's Hovel - Luke, Yoda, Vader with Luke's face £25 Cloud Car - Pilot x2, Bespin Guard £25 Cloud City - Lando, Luke, Han, Leia (white outfit), Chewie with 3PO backpack, Lobot, Vader, Boba,Ugnaught, Bespin Guard x2, Stormtrooper x2 £100+ New Sets: Imperial Officer Battle Pack - 1 Grey, 1 Black, 2 Technician Sandtrooper Battle Pack - 1 Captain, 3 Normal Bespin Guard Battle Pack - Bespin Guard x3, Ugnaught Rebel Pilot Battle Pack - Pilot x2, Technician x2 Obi-Wan's Hut - Ben, Luke, R2, Tusken x2, Bantha
  14. Those creatures are Scurriers, I don't think Womp Rats have made a canon appearance.
  15. Yup, that's the one I was thinking of! I'd love to have a go myself, I'd love Tom, Bert and William, then a few of the troll armour variants in the movies.
  16. I'm sure I saw a Flickr with someone making armour for a troll, and I'm sure it was on here, but I haven't managed to find it yet!
  17. I don't normally buy sets straight from Lego unless they're in the sale. The Death Star and Orthanc and the exceptions so far as they're cheaper there than elsewhere, and hopefully Ewok Village and Sandcrawler when I save a bit of money. I have bought at least two of every LotR and Hobbit set so far, so I'm not sure whether to shell out another £170 odd for another Orthanc. Does anyone know if the large sets ever get reduced? I'd definitely like another one, but I never pay the RRP for the extra sets as I can't afford that. Thanks!
  18. Didn't even realise that was Elven. Still, it's got a good shape and looks sturdy, shows he knows what he's doing even if it's not a design I'd buy. His store looks promising, hopefully others follow suit, if they're not doing so already!
  19. Where have you seen his Elf Helmet? I like his Elendil and Isildur, perfect examples of what Lego would have almost certainly never given us, but the fans step in.
  20. I could be wrong, but I thought an Elves theme was coming after the Dwarves one in Castle, but instead we got the Elf in the CMS and then LOTR/TH. I may have mis-remembered that though. Assuming it is a Tolkien rather than pixie-like Elf theme, I'd welcome it. The dwarf one was brilliant for making custom LOTR characters, and now we've actually got some figures from that line, it's still got useful parts, especially the beards and helmets. I'm sure an Elf theme would be good for expanding Middle-earth torso and legs, even if the yellow head and ears would be an issue. Hopefully lots of trees and bows and woodland creatures. Although I'd sooner have more Middle-earth, I'm sure castle fans, especially fantasy era, would be happy. If in fact this is a pixie-esque theme, I guess Elves in another theme to go on the castle wishlist, along with China, Vikings, Greece, Rome................... at least we'll never run out of ideas!
  21. It's the only known Khuzdul (Dwarven language) phrase known, as far as I know from Middle-earth. "Baruk Khazad! Khazad ai menu!" is the battle cry "The Axes of The Dwarves! The Dwarves are upon you!"
  22. Assuming this is the last wave, I think we could get up to four polybags. Polybag wise, I'm hopeful for Dain/Iron Hill Dwarf and a Gundabad Orc if we were to get two with this wave, released through The Sun promotions or however they work around the world. We could also get one with the BO5A DVD/Blu Ray release. The fourth could come if and when Lego release a Hobbit game with all three films on the same disc, and maybe with some bonus content as with the Star Wars Complete Edition.
  23. I hadn't noticed it until just now, but there isn't a Gandalf with this wave. Obviously, this is good as it means that we won't get another repeated figure, but could it mean he could be in a D2C set later? Probably not, as it's likely the Dol Guldur set will be available with him in it, as well as the Wizard Battle set. I went into my local Lego store today for the first time in months, and they had Council of Elrond, Battle of the Black Gate and Pirate Ship Ambush all at 50% off. It looked like they had cleared the stockroom too, there were about 20-30 kits there. I guess Wizard Battle is small enough and cheap enough they didn't feel the need to get rid of it. But still, he has been in every wave so far, and it would have been nice to see the other six Dwarves and Thranduil get their BO5A outfits alongside Bilbo, Tauriel, Bard, Thorin, Balin, Dwalin, Kili and Fili. So here's hoping eh? (although, realistically, probably not)
  24. The extra Legolas, Azog and Brown Bard are the only minifigures which are disappointing. I'm even happy we got the new Tauriel, but it's a shame about the lack of an army builder. The dwarves might be easy to make from other parts, but not the elves. We've missed Last Alliance and Rivendell knights, Galadhrim and Mirkwood Sentries, all of which had distinctive helmets. I know we wouldn't have seen all of these, unless the waves went on for longer, but that's now a fourth helmet we won't be seeing. Is it possible Azog is a placeholder for Bolg?
  25. Sorry, didn't see the video posted anywhere so I thought people might have missed it.
