I'm not a huge fan of the islanders sub theme in general, but the general build is fantastic and the vegetation is especially brilliant. Looks like almost all the available appropriate animals are included too... as well as a phoenix on holiday.

I love library MOCs in general, Hogwarts library ones in particular! It'd be great to see when it's done, judging by the great bookcase design, and plenty of lighting details. The classroom looks great and I love how many details you have in Filch's office. The library looks good too and everyone loves a hidden gem :D

I like the golden hair and golden CMF stands, otherwise I'm not interested in the golden figures, good though they may look.

I'm not going to suggest any DH figures as we don't have the sets yet, but I'd like either winter clothes trio or MoM hearing Harry, Quidditch Ron and pre-sorted uniform Hermione.

This is brilliant, the AC inspiration is immediately noticeable! I'll have to check out your stop motion videos later too Great job.

A big fluffy cat mold would be great for Crookshanks (Dark Orange) and Mrs Norris (Dark Tan with black printing).

A few more Pygmy Puffs.

I can't find the Cho photo, but the Hermione photo is unconvincing

Anyone tried the yellow boots for the Cloud Car Pilots yet? Not sure about swapping their hands to yellow.

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

Very nice. Was there a corresponding skirt/skirt slope piece? Gutted I missed out on it! -
In the film the knight's front legs jut out over another square, but the plinth is firmly on the square.

I re-rendered the cave without the roof, so the inside is more visible. It is still quite dark though. Also, I may have got a bit OTT trying to fit all the sea creatures in, but never mind I was happy that I could add little islands in the corners of the cave with the sand getting dryer towards the walls, with scattered coins in the sand. The chest is of course filled with gems. I was going to add horns and a feather top to the skull statue to tie it somehow to the Islanders and another link to Classic Pirates... but I forgot. I guess it was created by a rival tribe

If all four knights use the horse piece, and they only include one black rook and bishop, as Harry and Hermione take the places of these pieces, that could be even more pieces per piece.

It can be done, but it's probably/possibly too cramped for a set.

Thanks, I've ordered all the blue, burple and pink heads I can find to make my Menagerie, a printed version would be great though. I love your Gringotts, especially the dome!

I made a board a while ago that was all 3x3 squares, which is eight studs smaller in each direction. Doesn't sound like much but the overall difference is quite a lot. I used a 1x1 plate in the middle with tiles surrounding it. That was it's easy to move pieces without them getting too attached to the board, as well as being able to rotate as they do in the films. I'd love them to use this size due to space, however 4x4 might be easier to work with, and the same rotating effect could be achieved by a 2x2 jumper surrounded by tiles. I never got as far as designing the pieces though, so not sure how accurate the pieces would be.

I had that for the Amelia Earhart promo. Luckily I could get them right again, I'm sure some would complain though. I don't know how you can't open them to check the pieces are all present, even if just to seal them again, assuming you're not intending to keep them sealed for good. I've had so many sets where I have had a missing/faulty part or a misprint/miscolour that I can get fixed, if I was opening some 2018 sets now they could be out of production.

If the cards included are random and made of card then I for one won't care a jot, and will happily give my cards away to collectors. Just not my thing, but if that's your thing go nuts man. If they're buildable, that's really cool. But Lego wouldn't do buildable AND random would they?

Thanks very much! It was a blast to work on. Thank you! :) Delighted to be blogged for the first time.

Allow the strange looking figures, they're all I have with me right now, cobbled together from various Bricklink orders. I've had a go at making Pygmy Puffs, I think they look okay considering the scale. Pygmy Puffs come in various shades of pink and purple, but I'll probably use a few bluish ones to add some variety.

That's okay, I'd also love a Leaky Cauldron set! A Hog's Head would be great too of course, but not for PS/SS :)

Hagrid got Norbert(a) from the Hog's Head, not the Leaky Cauldron.

Owl is cute, the egg may not be HP but will look great in a COMC display!
