  1. To be fair UCS is a bit of a minefield in Star Wars too
  2. I'd love a series of Ship interiors as part of the 18+ line. A Star Destroyer/Super Star Destroyer bridge with the Meditation Chamber or Hologram Room. Home One bridge with the Briefing Room. Tantive IV corridors with escape pod area. Death Star War Room/Overbridge with Conference Room and Control Room 327 (considering almost all other areas have been done in the last few years)
  3. I don't want to be too positive on this thread at the moment () but a 4+ line for Harry Potter is something I don't believe would necessarily be a disaster. The Moments sets aren't a million miles away. Look at this Batman 4+ set. Four nicely detailed minifigures, three of them unique (or near enough) to the set, eight printed pieces and loads of accessories. The RRP for the above was £34.99, compared to the Moments sets which are £27.99 with only three figures, admittedly with a few more small parts. Stickers galore. I have a feeling Super Heroes sets may be slightly more expensive than HP ones too. There is no sign of the 4+ brand joining the HP license yet, but picture the above with, say, Neville, Malfoy, Harry and Hooch with a bit of the castle and plenty of brooms and the remembrall and a bit of interior decoration, or the trio and Ginny in Gryffindor Tower with a printed Fat Lady portrait. I don't think those would be so bad. Just to add some negativity to the thread: 76391 - $249.99 UCS Dancing Harry and Hermione. Includes Harry's weird smile. No further Deathly Hallows sets.
  4. I was looking forward to a DH wave, but this news, even though its just a hint at this stage, doesn't really bother me at all. More Philosopher's Stone challenges, Troll in the Dungeon, more Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley and the Shrieking Shack could be on the cards if they're sticking to the first three films. If Lego release a Hedwig like set I'll save some money there. I can wait a year for DH sets. Then the following year go back to mostly PoA/GoF stuff.
  5. As far as I can tell she appears in PS during the Welcome, Halloween and End of Year Feasts in the outfit you posted. She wears a different one (although not what has been leaked) during the Quidditch match. Top left corner of the stand.
  6. Yes please! It would also work aesthetically for PS and CoS Flitwick, only the beard would clash with the hair :( She's also in the stands in the Rouge Bludger Quidditch match, but as Sinistra appears in a set based on a film she wasn't in, perhaps she could be in any old misc Hogwarts add on. I think he's in that scene, but yes, both of those appearances are bigger than his appearance in PoA. I would have thought Neville getting his lollipop nicked would be a more obvious figure, but another Neville... I think I found out his name as I was looking up Theodore Nott, and apparently he's often confused with Pike. As such I'm basing my custom Nott on Pike, like I'm basing my custom Dennis Creevey on Nigel
  7. I don't think Goyle was there, the actor broke his arm and was replaced by Pike for a few scenes in PoA, I think this is one.
  8. Would you prefer they were just called Honeydukes Owners? Dean is shown with his back to the camera here in PoA (I think). I agree, although Scribbulus has no known employee, so they'd have to invent a character who doesn't appear in the films for them.
  9. Speaking of vehicles, perhaps the Hogsmeade set will include the Sleigh McGonagall, Hagrid and Fudge travel on before they enter the three broomsticks, otherwise it'll be a vehicle free wave.
  10. No, they were updated in terms of colour, pieces, techniques, often with a different figure line up. It would certainly be nice to get a Ravenclaw who isn't Cho or Luna. Ginny or Cho's hair piece would be fine for her and a reused fave too, it's not like she's mad looking character :D
  11. She's also in the Duelling Club scene, possibly others like the feast or corridor scenes - CoS isn't my favourite film of the series so haven't watched it as much :) Nope, she doesn't speak in either book or film, much like Prof. Vector who I hope we may possibly get at some point now, as well as other mute staff in the films like Madam Prince and Grubbly-Plank.
  12. Having the trio in the AC from the Hogwarts Express would be good, it'd be nice to see the unhoused Hogwarts robes on Hermione, and maybe a nice way of getting more sweets that will go with Honeydukes. And the Fluffy set with the correct torsos too.
  13. Understandable, but a little disappointing. Do you know what hairpieces Crabbe and Goyle will have?
  14. As excited I am about new characters like Sinistra and the Flumes, I love that Lego are filling in blanks like PS Griphook and Dudley, as well as getting great varients like Lockhart in the chamber and wintry McGonnagal. I hope the new Dumbledore has the hairpiece in white!
  15. I would love to see this expression recreated... We don't have a price for 40495/6 yet, do we?
  16. Thanks, that's really helpful!
  17. I've got no interest in Brickheads (my wallet glad happy about that) but I do like seeing them. If they're anniversary packs, I reckon Malfoy and Snape are ikely candidates as characters in the first ever wave, or perhaps a Dobby with his sock.
  18. Thanks, I have all of those and will have an experiment . I didn't realise the Russian Soldier was Sand Green not Dark Tan! Cheers.
  19. Could someone let me know if the Russian Soldier torso from the India a Jones line is anywhere near a colour match for the following Rebels please? I'm colourblind and the dull colours make it harder still. I know the torso design isn't perfect. If it's no good for any, could someone suggest the best Lego colours for the following figures, and I'll see what else is available. Rebel Honour Guard Rebel Junior Officer A Rebel Junior Officer B Thanks, it'd be very much appreciated.
  20. There is a post on #legoleaks saying two new Moments sets coming - is this the same rumour as was posted on the last page? Have we dismissed it as rubbish?
  21. Star Wars got yellow headed figures as part of 20 years of the theme, all of them consistent with loads of sets released. Harry Potter hasn't released sets for half of those 20 years. Also, only the first two Harry Potter films had sets released with yellow heads from 2001-03, Star Wars had five films with yellow headed sets released over six years. I don't think the yellow heads have the history with this theme that they do with Star Wars, and a good deal of the minifigs were not a very good representation of the characters from the films, charming as they were.
  22. I love the Grenada series too, and completely agree about Jeremy Brett! I like your take on the room, the proportions are good. I'd say maybe tile, or partially tile the carpet and include a few trophies like the Blue Carbuncle or a bust if Napoleon for example. What's the white 1x2 near the dresser for? I've also started work on a Grenada Moc, only got as far as doing some of the furniture so far though.
  23. I voted for both Imperials and Pirates, so this isn't an exact science, but adding the Pirate and Imperial votes together doesn't get as high marks as Bionicle. If you add together all the Space and Castle themes though, they should be top two...
  24. Both of those have been remade by Peter Jackson, but I know what you mean I would be well up for a TV adaptation of the seven novels, but not for 20-30 years. Let the films have their day, they're only just reaching their 20th birthday.
  25. The Herbology Moments set is already a couple of quid off on Amazon.
