Very cool details. I took the Dark Mark to be one of the details on the book cover, we'll wait and see I guess. The skirt legs is a very interesting potential detail. Great to hear Skelegro confirmed Also states what I think we all thought that the suitcase is more like a chest.

I think that's a fair shout, I know last Winter Wave was all Moments sets, but to compare the 2021 Winter wave we got new Cho, Seamus, McGonagall, Flitwick and Sprout heads (5) Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Herbology, Sprout, McGonagall, Flitwick and Snape torsos (8) McGonagall printer skirt and recoloured Cedric legs (2) New McGonagall hat mold. Admittedly very few printed pieces that wave, but perhaps a new Pomfrey face is maybe a 50/50 chance, maybe with a small smile and concerned face rather than the shriek of the Trolley Witch

Is the dorm/Hermione set available in the UK? Can't seem to find the UK Calender. Best part of the set is the bed and four cards. Shame the torsos are casual though! Still a few nice tan parts though.

If I could pick just one set to be revealed early, it'd be the suitcase, it sounds intriguing even though it may end up being a let down. The moments sets and Hospital Wing are more obvious. If I could pick just one figure it would be Pomfrey

Can't wait to be disappointed by this one Just kidding, I'll go in with no expectations again, which is far better than being let down by a film you were looking forward to (Hobbit, Sequel Trilogy). Also, just to make a brief point with a few characters off the top of my head, Lego has no problem with making figures who aren't straight, so no figures are off the table.

Oops Looking at the creature placement, there is obviously more in the CMF (*) years and 2018 also introduced the FB creatures. I included the Mandrake which I know are technically plants and Cat Head Hermione who isn't really a creature. Didn't include Boggart Snape. 2018* (6 new molds): Aragog, Thestral, Niffler, Dobby, Mandrake, Nagini, Thunderbird, Occamy, Erumpent, Dementor, rubbish Basilisk 2019 (2 new molds): Hippogriff, Stag, Horntail, Winged Horses 2020* (6 new molds): Owl in flight, Grawp, Centaurs, Hare, Otter, Goblin, Phoenix, other mandrake 2021 (4 new molds): Fluffy, Pixies, Basilisk, Cat/Hermione I get the feeling creatures are like vehicles in that they are good selling points for sets. If the next series of sets focus mostly on PoA and GoF as the winter wave suggests it might, a proper Crookshanks and Mrs Norris, the Grim and Merpeople with Grindylows would be my ideas for most likely. The FB movie may change that though!

Yeah, one of the best things about the CMF is the new heads, hair and accessories - I think the first two waves had about 10-12 new pieces each. If this years sets follow last years, Pomfrey may get a new hair/hat like McGonnagall did in the 2021 winter wave. The summer wave had the Hermione Cat Head, Cornish Pixies, Fang heads and Basilisk parts off the top of my head.

Not really a minifig, but I think the hot dog piece in sand green works well for a Flobberworm.

It's located where the Astronomy Tower is from HBP onwards, and is known as the Dark Tower. I think it would work fine as an addition to the line, the top floor could have a cell, a floor (or two) below could have some good PoA scenes. Harry, Sirius and Buckbeak would be needed, Hermione and other characters based on the interior could be additions. Some of The Fat Lady portrait, Patronus lessons, Divination or Lupin's DADA could all be inside. The downside to this tower is it is very tall and thin which may not translate too well, but the prison on top is the most recognisable part.

I don't think a promo set would have any bearing on main sets in the future. Brick Clicker said it was the Dorm, not the common room.
-
Yessssssss. Sounds like a great little set. I assume it's coming to the UK, so will aim to buy DA to get the GWP.

But all of those items have appeared in Lego sets... And the Diary and Nagini have appeared too... As well as a load of Harrys! The only one we're missing is the ring.

Thanks both! Sounds like a nice bonus to the set but not a problem to skim em. -

I still think the best scaled AT-ST was in the 2009 Battle of Endor set, but I'm looking forward to the new Hoth version. Is there any word on figures with the UCS Landspeeder? I'm not a UCS scale fan, but I like the vehicle, I know it's not necessarily a popular choice though. Uncle Owen, Luke and Ben are pretty much as good as they can be, I guess more printing on R2 or 3PO would be good though. Beru would be a dream, but not in a £180ish set. -
I did make a video of this, but I cba to edit it so just sharing the screen shots if anyone is interested I should be getting the codes for the next bags in about three weeks. Both bags. Contents of one of the bags and a bag of smaller parts. Everything from one copy of 40512. The spare parts, according to extra pieces not in the Brickset inventory , its possible that a skate in each colour is spare, rather than one of each. Minifigure parts, minifigure accessories, animals and a few nice other bits. According to Brickset, the trans orange scuba visor piece is unique. The leaf, helmet, skateboard wheels, pig, guitar, turntable, GITD head and 1x4 tile are listed as rare. There are 148 parts in 24 different colours. The pigs, two sizes of eyes and pineapples are printed. My overall thoughts are that for free, this is a pretty nice little pack of parts. Lots of interesting colours on some not so interesting pieces certainly makes them more fun, even though most won't be visible in any MOCs I make. The pigs are certainly a big plus, yet I wouldn't rush out to make a purchase at Lego just to get this specific free pack. It's certainly a nice bonus pack though. Looking at what is included in the Winter and Pirate packs, and hopefully the Halloween pack if it is another free gift, they look more promising. Hopefully I get the chance to get those and can share some images.

I'm not sure if I missed it being discussed, but is this new licenced CMF series mentioned on the last page a completely new theme, or is that unknown at this time?

Sainsbury's has quite a good home section now, most stores have a really good selection of lego too. There are only a few John Lewis stores here, I live very close to the Bluewater one, but their website often follows Amazon or Argos in their reductions. I saw the Chess Set was reduced to about £50 the other day, its back up to full price now though.

Since 2018, we've not had a repeat of Filch, Lupin, Quirrell (apart from the golden figure) or the Gryffindor and Slytherin Quidditch teams. I think there is a good chance of seeing new versions of some of them in 2022. Also the Trolley Witch, but she can only come in one possible set

Fair dos, I have been collecting as many hair pieces in different colours and faces as I can over the last few years, my goal is to have unique hair pieces and for every character in HP, Lotr and SW. Still got a way to go, but I also don't mind the same hair style in the same category of figure, as long as the colour is different Yes, I think this is the best option. The Ship, the three spectator stands and the underwater sections are the three 'locations' needed, I can see the 2nd task parts being in one set and the ship and perhaps that little jetty with a tree and rowing boat where Neville supplies the Gillyweed being a little side build. The second task variants of Harry, Cedric, Fleur, Krum, Gabrielle, Karkaroff and Maxime would be four brand new figures, three repeats with Cho, Ron and Hermione but with sleeping faces. Add in some Merpeople and Grindylows, as well as a Rita Skeeter perhaps in here more familiar green outfit rather than the blue she wears during the second task. Neville with printed round tile (or trans green dog poo piece) would be nice, as would Crouch. Moody unnecessary thanks to the Moments set. I think Dumbledore is the same outfit as in the CMF. I would imagine there will be more rock work with the locations you mentioned. This means we can now have the Viaduct, Stone Bridge, Wooden Bridge and Suspension Bridge as well as the Boat House with some degree of levels. I think the RoR would work well in it's Room of Lost Things guise as a basement level as I don't believe you can see windows there. The same goes I think for the Hideout Room with Arianna's portrait. I'd also add Snape's Office to your list.

I think this piece in this colour works well for GoF Neville.

Yup, that's all of em! My guess is they'll include four robes with scarves in the trunk set for what sounds like the student you can create. My guess is they'll be wearing gloves (say dark red, dark green, dark blue and dark orange) to allow a variety of head piece colours without switching hands, and so scarves naturally go with gloves. Maybe four double sided heads in light nougat, nougat, medium nougat, and reddish brown faces with one male and one female side?
-
Yeah I've not found them here either, admittedly I've not looked too hard in the past though! I was thinking about Moody the other day, I'd like to see one of the darker blond colours for his hair piece, also a second Moody expression rather than Barry Crouch Jnr. I believe were currently up to 14 variants of the Gryffindor uniform, not including Quidditch, or herbology, since this line started in 2018. It'll be interesting to see what version we get in the moments sets.

10000 replies in this thread now! Has anyone picked up the Hermione Polybag?

It's interesting that DADA is reportedly a black book, as if LEGO ever wanted to make a Tom Riddle's Diary Moments set (pretty perfect as Harry is pulled into the book when he sees the release of Aragog) then the Riddle book would also be black. Also, dark blue, red, green and perhaps medium nougat are all still free, so if house Moments sets were ever wanted, or at least Slytherin and Gryffindor, the appropriate colours are still available.
