If this it's true it's an interesting move, I doubt it's a pack people will buy many multiples of like a student, Quidditch, or Death Eater pack, but there is great potential. What worries me is that we don't often get a great deal of new prints in these accessory packs which could make the potential professors a bit bland. Aside from the printed 2x3 tile which appears in both previous sets, the only new prints were Cho's face and the subtly different Ravenclaw torso in the first pack, and the Witch's Skirt piece in the second. No new face prints would be needed for any of the profs as almost all have appeared in one way or another by now. I'd suggest Hagrid is unlikely as I don't think any of these packs have included a non standard minifigure before (could be wrong) and the Carrow Twins and Burbage are quite dark and not overly recognisable, especially as no DH sets have come out yet. Maxime and Karkaroff would be cool but aren't Hogwarts teachers. For brand new never before seen minifigures there are three female figures in Vector, Grubbly-Plank and Pince, who could use the S2 Dumbledore hat (Vector), Scarecrow hat (GP) and McGonagall hat (Pince) . While Vector would require new colours and prints, Pince would only need the hat to be recoloured with dark hair, the rest could come from existing parts. Grubbly-Plank could probably be cobbled together too. Lockhart and Umbridge have the most variety of outfits, so would be glad to see a new print used on them. Dumbledore and McGonagall do too, but have a greater chance of appearing in sets. Many characters we are missing variants of wear very similar clothes while teaching such as Snape, Sinistra, Filch, Lupin, Moody (unless it's Yule Ball), Slughorn, Hooch, Pomfrey, Trelawney and Flitwick. If these show up in sets, that's great, but would feel a little underwhelming if they showed up in a character pack as they probably wouldn't get the treatment they need,or may be underwhelming like Snape in the Moments set. Quirrell is interesting, as people have said he should be wearing dark brown rather than black, so perhaps the same print on a different colour torso could be achieved, while also making it a new-ish figure. Finally there are two variants of Sprout, both of which I think would not look very good without a new hair/hot mold and they are not as prevalent as the one we got in the S2 CMF series. So my guess if this is indeed a four minifigure pack of Hogwarts staff is: 1.Lockhart (new print on torso, eg Duelling club) 2.Pince (cobbled together from existing parts, hopefully dark hair on McGonagall hat) 3.Grubbly-Plank (cobbled together, perhaps recoloured Scarecrow hat) 4.Something boring like an identical Snape to what we've had before, but the other figures make up for it.

LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Seaber replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Dagobah set looks lovely, but is quite expensive. The figures look like they may be the same from the last Yoda's Hut set, so may try to buy it Figure-less. It also looks like the top of the Hut can come off so there is a chance for the cooking pot, bed, etc to be included inside. I would love the reverse to have space for the cave scene, it would be my intention to mod a small area there for Vader if possible. -
It's been confirmed there won't be. I'm going to watch the trailer in a bit, really excited about this game.

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Seaber replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I have been sort of following this thread, but resisted posting until now because I didn't want to come across too wishlist-y. However, it finagled itself into my dream last night so I think it may be a sign to get the thoughts out. Firstly, I think horses are virtually a certainty, but as well as normal saddles I think the following may have horse connections: A cart (carrying hay or supplies for example, perhaps with a hidden compartment for a figure). A carriage (either for the king and queen or prisoners) . A siege tower. A catapult. A battering ram. I think all of the above featured in the original 80s sets, except the covered cart was a Western set I think. I'd also suggest two horse bardings for a joust area. A boat would also be very cool, but not really necessary. Inside the castle, as well as the usual bedroom(s), kitchen, throne room, etc, a stables, armoury and Barracks would be very cool, perhaps a tower for a wizard too if included. A remake of Guarded Inn within the castle itself would be perfection. In terms of minifigures I think there will be a number of Crusader and Black Falcon soldiers as well as a leader for the BF. One Forest an will be included as a prisoner as well as multiple skeletons. Several nobles and royals as well as a jester, cook and perhaps a wizard will complete the castle line up and the rest will be peasants. Animals will probably be several horses, a few duller things like rats and frogs, but I have high hopes for a few farm animals and of course goats :D- 2,976 replies

Picked mine up earlier in the UK, will look to build it tomorrow. Not interested in boxes at all, but must admit the three tribute boxes have been lovely.- 87 replies

I agree with this, except the colour grading which I didn't notice. There have only been two things of interest to me in these films, as the story and writing is so poor I've not been able to get on board with much of it. 1. Showing more of the wizarding world established in the HP Series. I liked seeing Grindelwald, Newt and Flamel, although what I would have loved to see more of is Hogwarts - which they messed up - and other expanded locations from the old films. 2. The beasts. These have been a really mixed bag in both design and execution. A third, more recent thing I've got from these films is Lego has kindly supplied a bunch of nice minifigure head and torso prints to use elsewhere as WW minifigures. The Niffler and Thestral are lovely. I don't think I'll be seeing the film in cinemas unless on a 2for1/half price ticket.

Yeah I think that's the one, I made a Moc of it recently. Would be nice to get the lamppost too!

I thought MoM as the huge set was unlikely before the reveal, however now it's virtually impossible. Assuming it's not something crazy like the big figures or Hedwig statue, it could really only be Hogwarts or Diagon Alley part 2 now. Grimmauld Place, more of Hogsmeade, Malfoy Manor, Godric's Hollow and the other places we're missing would scarcely hit that price point combined. Hogwarts in minifig scale at that price would likely only be the Great Hall and grand staircase Tower, perhaps with a few other bits attached, but the potential is great. Microfig or nanofig scale would seem very unlikely due to the 2018 model still in production. More of Diagon Alley would be great. Gringotts and Leaky Cauldron would be very likely as the more familiar buildings like Ollivander's and WWW are in the former DA set. I think the Leaky Cauldron and Gringotts together would take about half the set, leaving room for another 3/4 shops. I'd prefer Borgin and Burkes as a stand alone, so would suggest the owl emporium, menagerie and apothecaries to be the most likely.

Instead of Greyback, perhaps it is his Snatcher college Scabior who is seen in the MoM. Both similar outfits with scruffy hair. I would love to know the size of the Horntail to see how it compares with a minifigure, and if it could replace the 2019 creature. It may well be too big. I suspect the nest with eggs will form the stand. My guess for the minifigure is post-task Harry with ripped robes or perhaps someone like Crouch or Hagrid (Hedwig and Fawkes came with their owners, Crouch is the closest thing to that for the HH and Hagrid loves dragons) or perhaps as an outside chance Rita? Like others have said, Ginny in the Sirius escape set means a Fat Lady portrait seems quite likely inside the tower, I'd guess there is perhaps a small staircase to the portrait with an armchair and fireplace inside with the cell on the top. I really hope there is a new Fluffy cat mold for Mrs Norris who can then be coloured ginger for Crookshanks in the SS, assuming he comes in it. We should hopefully get new Dumbledore and McGonagall varients in the office set.

Mrs Norris is a new character!

I love the early games vibe, I'm intended to build Hogwarts as it appears on screen, but fill in as much of the empty space as I can with little hints to ways games 1-3. Looks great! I like the flask build especially.

I was only listing stuff that appears in the films, I know we saw a bit of Ravenclaw in the AT though :) The Hideout is the RoR in DHII where members of DA are camped out. Lot of acronyms there :D I meant it could works well as a standalone, it's self contained, it's not been represented in its colourful glory yet and new Lockhart variant :D

There is so much of Hogwarts interior not yet explored in this theme (2018 onwards), or what we have isn't the best so a 'remake' wouldn't be a bad thing. Including the six moments books we still haven't had (or only had simple versions of) The Fat Lady and Gryffindor Common Room, Slytherin Common Room, Troll in the Bathroom, the Library, Dumbledore's office, Lupin's classroom or Boggart training room, Umbridge Office, the Dark Tower, the Room of Hidden Things, the Hideout or the rest of the PS challenges. There is also the marble staircase and statues from DHII, or a proper version of the moving staircases from the earlier films. I know we got the normal spiral staircase part in the 2018 GH set, but it doesn't really do the staircase justice. I think a proper trophy room from GoF or a detailed Duelling club set would be great too. I'm sure I missed stuff out, that's just off the top of my head. There is plenty of Hogwarts stuff left for this line if LEGO wanna make it.
-
No idea about those other themes, but for Star Wars: 2 years before we got a Stormtrooper 3 years before we got a Droideka and Imp officer 4 years before we got a Snowtrooper And so on and so on for all the scum and villains in the Star Wars universe. I'm sure we'll get Darth Eaters in due course, what I'd like is there to be a bajillion variants of mask and torso print... which won't happen 😁

Love that tiny skeleton head for the Skelegro! Would love a proper molded bottle one day but I'm going to get loads of those tiny ones.
-
To be fair, now the pattern of 16 figures per wave has been broken, perhaps the Neville, Luna and Albus tradition would go too. I am no marvel fan but prefer that licenced CMF to Looney Tunes or Simpsons cos at lease there are useful hair and head pieces.
-
For the new HP set in the huge price range, Diagon/Knockturn Alley, and Hogwarts are the big two obvious locations. There are plenty of new areas and minifigs for both of these too. A 'UCS' Hogwarts Express with engine, tender, three coaches, track, motor and either or both Kings Cross and Hogsmeade Stations would be approaching that price point. Although they'd mostly be variants of existing characters, still good potential for minifigs here. No other major location (Hogsmeade, Burrow, Mom, Malfoy Manor, Grimmauld Place, Privet Drive, etc) or vehicle (Anglia, Motorbike, Durmstrang Ship, Carriage, Knight Bus) can really get close to the three above. If its not them then I think it'll be something sculpturish.

I got the two packs today, the selection is nice but not quite as good as the Spooky one IMO. It follows the same pattern as the previous two, there is a smaller bag inside the main bag with small parts. Apologies for the bad lighting in these photos, but is shows what you get. A lot of frosty colours like white, trans blue and opalescent. One complete bag. A slightly odd thing is you have multiples of two of everything (spare parts aside) apart from the plain white chicken, which is on its own. The Husky, pastry, blue hat and yellow 1x4 have printing. There are 139 parts, none of which are listed on Brick set as rare or unique, however the yellow 1x4, blue 1x2, diamond pieces and aerial pieces have appears in just 3 sets each. A brown carrot top, black 1x1 round stud with hole, gold star, flame piece and one of the newer gem 1x1s come as spare. Overall there are 13 different colours in the pack as well as the multicoloured dog and hat. A few small builds I managed to make using at least one of each part - a frozen pond, a winter village-like table with snacks, a wintery candelabra and two snowmen. Like the Spooky pack, this made me want to have a play about with the pieces, some thin the Fun pack didn't. Overall not as good as the last one in my opinion, but the obvious snowman builds, like the skeletons in the Spooky pack, were the thing that made playing around with the pieces fun.

With patience, I managed to get the Tom Riddle book, whatever that was, brand new with figure for £4. If you consider that is the price of a CMF, with the extra 50p going towards a huge book, it isnt that bad. Hoping to do the same with Percy.
-
With Percy and the Trunk set that's now 16 Gryffindor school uniform torso variants. So you could have Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Dean, Seamus, Lavender, Parvati, Ginny, Fred, George, Percy, Lee, Oliver Wood and Colin with no repeated bodies!
-
Despite the fact the old lid is more accurate to the prop, Moody's chest in the DADA set comes with the new flat lid.
-
As much as I like the upturn in atmosphere since the trailer launched, I'm very much reminded of the exciting Cog trailer after the disappointing FB1 film... I like all the new sets though, but I must admit as soon as I build the official sets I knock em down for parts
-
Covers look good, shame we can't see the contents! Same purple as the Knight Bus I think?
-
Might be worth mentioning these torsos seem to be based on the winter cloaks (like the Harry that came with buildable Hedwig) rather than the usual house robes (like in the CoS/Fluffy/Bathroom sets)
-
Yes, can't wait to get some in reddish brown! What colours have changed? Is it the tiny bit of piping on the jumpers poking though?
