  1. Not the most exciting character to check off but now we have Romilda Vane I've got an updated character list. I also added the number of characters by film. There is a chance, albeit small, that more figures could be taken off with the impending set reveals. PS (10): Lee Jordan, Alicia Spinnet, Tom, Dedalus Diggle, Doris Crockford, King's Cross Guard, Prof Vector, Bloody Baron, Fat Friar, Augusta Longbottom CoS (5): Millicent Bulstrode, Mr and Mrs Mason, Ernie MacMillain, Penelope Clearwater PoA (1): Aunt Marge GoF (6): Roger Davies, Barry Crouch sr, Prof Karkaroff, Amos Diggory, Frank Bruce, Eloise Midgen OotP (6): Mrs Figg, Zacharias Smith, Madam Bones, John Dawlish, Antonin Dolohov, Prof Grubbly-Plank HBP (8): Narcissa Malfoy, Amycus Carrow, Alecto Carrow, Thorfinn Rowle, Leanne, Katie Bell, Cormac McLaggen, Marcus Belby DH (9): Charity Burbage, Bill Weasley, Mundungus Fletcher, Elphius Doge, Rufus Scrimgeour, Xenophilius Lovegood, Aunt Muriel, Bathilda Bagshot, Dirk Cresswell.
  2. Strange that they included Romilda Vane who wasn't in the WWW scene as far as I recall, but omitted Cormac McLaggen who was. Still, a new character is a new character Another new character, Arnold, is indeed printed on a ball and not a new piece as some thought. A lot of good stuff in this set, although maybe not enough to tempt those that already have DA...
  3. I like Dobby's eyes and may get any stickers/prints for the book cover, but otherwise the big Dobby isn't for me 😁
  4. I think the post office witch is based on the theme park costumes for the post office employees. Fair dos, think the dragon is prominent enough in the movie and my prediction is we will get one in a set and one as a flying sculpture like the Horntail
  5. I don't understand this logic tbh. The theme park is based on what happens in the movie anyway, so what different would it make what Gringotts looks like in the park? I don't think it's a good precedent either. Still not sure who the female fig on the left is but the post office employee looks to be based on the theme park staff. I'm not in favour of non-canon stuff being put into the sets based on the theme park at the expense of canon material. I am okay with Owl Post as many of the parts (Owlery part, shop sign, likely the interior) can be reused for the Hogsmeade branch which actually appears in the films, but if in future they added in a random theme park shop to a Diagon Alley set rather than one that appears in the films I think that would be a huge let down.
  6. So minifigs are Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, Lavender, Post Office Worker and another woman - could it be Verity the WWW employee seen in the background? Although I think it looks great, it's a shame the post office is included as it isn't a part of the films, just the theme park in America. Luckily the sign could be repurposed for the Hogsmeade Owl Post shop. It would have been nice to get Eyelops Owl Emporium instead and keep the owls, but hope for this in the future.
  7. Regarding the cape/no capes discussion... The cloaks are printed on the figures already, so I don't think a cape piece over the top looks right at all. A cloth piece on the legs would look good though, which could then be swished out. The Quidditch jumpers that come in the banner sets would look fine with the capes however. I guess it's up to personal preference, but the lack of cape in the polybag is more accurate.
  8. Star wars is tricky as you have several key ships in different scales/price categories, such as the huge UCS models, standard system scale sets, 4+ kits, Microfighters, mini models... Most common/popular/key sets are the Imperial TIE Fighter (12), OT Millennium Falcon (16) and Rebel X-Wing (17). There are other common sets like the Snowspeeder and Luke's Landspeeder, but these are often smaller, so easier for kids to afford. I think at least one of those key sets has been available in some form for the last 20 odd years.
  9. Trio would be there I imagine, doubt the others would be included - hard to find a pattern with just two cmf series released and it's unlikely we'll get another
  10. Missing characters alone, no. But if you include some new and some variants of existing figures it wouldn't be hard to get to twelve. Three are likely to be the trio anyway, so nine spots isn't too hard to fill. For example - Bloody Baron, Aunt Marge, Firenze, Lee Jordan, Yule Ball Karkaroff, Yule Ball McGonnagall, End of Term Dumbledore, BoH Sprout, BoH Lucius. But I agree that a third CMF series is not that likely, although I'd have rather has a Harry Potter one that some of the less interesting recent series, but that is just me.
  11. So are we expecting the six figures in the Quidditch set to be Harry in Gryffindor Quidditch robes and Malfoy in Slytherin Quidditch robes, then a further Gryffindor and Slytherin set of robes and one set of Hufflepuff and one set of Ravenclaw robes to create our own characters? Bit annoying to get 2x the common torso and 1x the rare ones...
  12. well blow me down. Fang was played by I think six or seven different dogs, so that could explain the size difference!
  13. OotP has the thestral carriages and in HBP Harry and Luna go through the gates last - no Hagrid I'm afraid.
  14. In addition to Fang, on the beast/creature/non-human side we're missing: Norbert Troll in the Dungeon Unicorn (RIP) Inferi Ukrainian Ironbelly Giants And the other dragons from the first task we only saw as models (slim chance of getting these though!) We have had owls, toads/frogs and centaurs, but not specifically named Errol, Trevor or Firenze - and they look very different to the centaurs in OotP.
  15. I think you can see Daniel Radcliffe is wearing green contacts in some shots, which were quickly abandoned and they reshot some close ups like where he gets the photo album from Hagrid. Hagrid is there at the beginning and end of the films to collect the first years and say goodbye to Harry, but Fang is not there. Not that I'd be against his includion, but I think a PS Hagrid's hut with Norbert and Fang would be a very promising and possible future set.
  16. Yup, I agree. I greatly expanded the list when the 2021 wave gave us a very minor character in Prof Sinistra (and then 2022 gave us Madam Pince), so felt obliged to add in the lesser known characters for completion. I was hoping to get Lee Jordan off the list with the Quidditch Trunk but no such luck. Hoping to get rid of a few students with the new HE, and maybe Cormac in WWW though. Otherwise, roll on 2024
  17. I don't think sets based on a tv show that will stream on the fourth biggest streaming service (in the UK at least, probably lower in other countries) are very likely. I don't think it's even comparable to The Clone Wars or other Star Wars shows. So far there is no apparent production - they're using the film series houses, castle, music etc. No cast or crew announcement, I think this is further off than many of you think. Anyway, back to the current line, we can strike Scabior off the list of needed minifigs - if the leakers turn out to be wrong for whatever reason they can always be added back on. Aberforth is confirmed for the AC so he's gone too. PS: Lee Jordan, Alicia Spinnet, Tom, Dedalus Diggle, Doris Crockford, King's Cross Guard, Prof Vector, Bloody Baron, Fat Friar, Augusta Longbottom CoS: Millicent Bulstrode, Mr and Mrs Mason, Ernie MacMillain, Penelope Clearwater PoA: Aunt Marge GoF: Roger Davies, Barry Crouch sr, Prof Karkaroff, Amos Diggory, Frank Bruce, Eloise Midgen OotP: Mrs Figg, Zacharias Smith, Madam Bones, John Dawlish, Antonin Dolohov, Prof Grubbly-Plank HBP: Narcissa Malfoy, Amycus Carrow, Alecto Carrow, Thorfinn Rowle, Romilda Vane, Leanne, Katie Bell, Cormac McLaggen, Marcus Belby DH: Charity Burbage, Bill Weasley, Mundungus Fletcher, Elphius Doge, Rufus Scrimgeour, Xenophilius Lovegood, Aunt Muriel, Bathilda Bagshot, Dirk Cresswell. There is still so much potential for new sets with exciting new minifigures and nice new varients of existing ones. You could name 10 missing or in need of an upgrade sets of the top of your head I'm sure. I'm think we'll be getting sets based on the eight films for years to come.
  18. There won't ever be any sets from this show, but look forwards to the years of speculation that there will be
  19. Nice clear image if Rita has been put up in the udual place.
  20. Really looking forward to Scabior, I didn't realise until recently he has a red streak in his hair (I'm colourblind) and wonder if they can pull that off on the Will Turner or Kanan Jarrus ponytail pieces which I think would be most appropriate. It would be a shame if they had to compromise on the hair piece just so it could be painted which is what feels like happened with 2011 Narcissa.
  21. Any HP tv series is about a decade off, so Lego don't need to decide not to make sets on it for a while yet 😁 As for Narcissa, she has, if I remember right, four outfits - Spinner's End, Borgin and Burke's, Malfoy Manor and Battle of Hogwarts. I think a Spinner's End one is very unlikely, but she's probably to show up in any set based on the other three. Maybe not this BoH, but one in the future perhaps
  22. I think you're right about Gringotts, although there are also the human guards who could make an appearance. For the others... BoH: obviously there are loads of teacher, death eater and student varients, but just for new figures there are Narcissa Malfoy, Katie Bell, Bill Weasley, the Carrows, Romilda Vane, Leanne and Scabior, not to mention the statues and giants (if you include them) HE: second Trolley Witch, more HE crew (not one figure locked in a £450 set!), updated Hagrid and loads of options for the students. WWW: Cormac McLaggen, and as we got both Flumes in Honeydukes, perhaps Verity could be included. Quidditch Trunk: hoping for the last variant of Hooch to go along with Lee, however it's more likely to be an updated Quidditch version.
  23. Very happy with the idea of a new HE, I found the 2018 one quite lacking. All depends on the final look though. It would be nice to get the other Trolley Witch, and maybe some more of the driver/fireman figures as featured in the 2022 massive express. Has it been confirmed what DA shop(s) are included?
  24. Gondor/Minas Tirith would be best served with a wave of sets, but with a Rivendell-size set based on the top level. A many thousand-piece set based on Aragorn's coronation (including 8/9 of the fellowship, Faramir, Eowyn, Eomer, Arwen and Elrond in exclusive outfits) and a beautifully detailed courtyard and Throne room could be the crowning glory to a wave of ROTK sets based on the seige of Minas Tirith. Just think about the huge size of that battle - Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Merry, Pippin, Theoden, Eomer, Eowyn, Denethor, Faramir, Gondor, Rohan and the Dead face Gothmog, the Witch King, Trolls, Nazgul, Fell Beasts, Mumakil, Grond, Haradrim and various sorts of Orcs.thats before you get into the actual locations in the city. There is just too much for one set alone, so I think a wave if sets would be ideal. It would also be harsh to lock Gondorian soldiers in a £500 odd set! Ahhh, I forgot the braid. Thanks!
  25. Good list! However I think Multiple Great Halls is no bad thing (unlike other structures/locations/vehicles which would be boring if repeated) as it could feature plenty of different scenes. Aside from the normal day to day house tables and the seasonal decorations like Christmas and Halloween, the Great Hall could also be released as a set featuring: PS - Sorting, End of Year Ceremony. CoS - Duelling Club. PoA - sleeping bags. GoF - Yule Ball, Triwizard Ceremony. OotP - Exam/Fred and George's Escape. DH - Battle of Hogwarts, including Molly vs Bellatrix. I know some of these have been portrayed before, but it's definitely a location with lots of different looks.
