  1. With all the sales these sets seem to be having already, it may be safe to say this line won't be around long.
  2. With Walmart starting their clearances this week, we should see a lot of the new stuff soon. I have Black Gate and Council of Elrond, and have seen Pirate Ship and Wizard Battle sets, just not everywhere. Can't wait to get my hands on Orthanc here at some point.
  3. Excellent review and really changed the way I looked at some of these figures. I'm a bit disappointed at the distribution, but there will always be one that you want that only has 2 per case. Not a big deal there. The Tiki Warrior has vaulted to number 1 for me after seeing the pictures of him, it is amazing and will fit in perfect with my old Islanders. Also really like the Scarecrow and will be trying to get a bunch of elves to help out Santa. Will go perfect with our Winter Village theme in December.
  4. I'm pretty sure the getting in touch with more than one person was a safeguard. If they messaged just one person, and that person is scum, the Cop is dead, and can be counterclaimed by the scum knowing full well who they killed. If they message two people, one is scum, the other hopefully town, there is someone else there that can live to tell the story and give the identity of the other messaged and the identity of the Cop. Believe me, school is running through my head like a train right now, analyzing differences and similarities, hoping to God that lightning doesn't strike twice. Paris went to school with me and knows this, which I believe to be the reason that she went so hard after the idea of another frame, trying to get everybody questioning themselves, and particularly myself. With the way she went off the handle and then went quiet, however, I am not terribly worried.
  5. Have to give the Cop investigation a chance. Vote: Paris Shawty (Tamamono)
  6. I am not the only person that knows who claimed this information, FWIW. I know the historical event you are talking about Melanie, I know about it all too well. There are some differences, though. This was Night 1, and no real suspicions had been thrown Paris's way, no reason to frame her in this case. In the case you are talking about from that mess of a school, the scum had a good idea of who was going to be investigated that night. They weren't 100% sure, but had a good idea and gambled, and won. With this being a "simple" game, I'm not even sure that a frame exists in this game, definitely not ruling it out, though. Frames are also usually a one-shot deal. The doubt the scum would use a frame the first night on someone that wasn't really even a target in the day thread.
  7. Pretty obvious why they would trust me. They check up on Paris. Day 2 she's all up in my skirt, so they naturally assume I am town. Which, as I said, they did correctly.
  8. Got a little song for you all, I hope you enjoy it. I think you will find it fascinating. " A little birdie in the sky told me something, 'most made me cry Paris is not who we think A Monster that really stinks. Luckily for the town We have a cop that hasn't let us down." For those of you that can't read between the lines, it appears that the Town Cop has investigated Paris last night and she came up "Monster". Luckily for the town, they have trusted wisely.
  9. The vote switching scenario is hypothetical, I never planned on changing my vote. I'm simply saying that IF I had changed my vote to follow you guys, you would have claimed I was bandwagoning and a scum. Since I voted for someone that I thought made a quick defense of another player, you are claiming that I voted to stay away from the bandwagon. So which is it? If you don't like my songs, you write them. I'm nothing like the pizza delivery boy. You may not be scum, but I f*(&king guarantee there are some in there that aided that little bandwagon of yours whether you want to admit it or not. You can metagame me all you want because I'm different than I was in my schooling, I don't simply have the time I did then to really go through every post and go after people. I was full of piss and vinegar and supercharged to kick some megablocks in my first game. It's busy time for me during the summer, my songwriting classes and voice lessons
  10. Now THAT is what the Cuusoo Delorean should have looked like. I love the Hill Valley too.
  11. It's not that I was concerned with looking scummy, IT IS SCUMMY!! If I change my vote to match up with you guys, I am a bandwagoner. If I stay with my vote with Melanie, I'm going against the grain and staying middle of the road. You can't have it both ways. You're barking up the wrong tree here, believe me. Calling out my vote just because it is different than yours is stupid. I explained my vote, there is nothing more to it. Besides, you're the one that voted out a Townie, why aren't we questioning you, Paris?
  12. My vote for Melanie was in no way an "I told you so" vote. I voted for the person at the time that I felt needed to be voted for. I don't like quick defenses of other players, especially this early in the game when you have no idea who is good or bad. As I said in Day 1, I have let it go before, and it has always bit me in the butt. There was no reason to vote for Brittney, everybody else had already joined the bandwagon. Changing would have looked ultra-scummy, don't you think? We have a lot of fellow players that haven't said squat yet, I am a bit compelled to call them out a bit today. It's one thing to not say much on Day 1, there's not a ton going on, but you're also looking like a lurker that doesn't want to show your hand by doing this. Problem has always been that policy lynches like this almost always end up with a quiet townie getting lynched which is why I didn't go that route yesterday. I would love to hear more out of Abraham, Benvolio, and Amanda today. Ohhh! Inspiration for a song! Silent lurkers........ You're not helping Join in with Fluffy and start to yelping Silent lurkers.......... come out from the darkness And help out the town whose aid from you harkens.
  13. I also generally go after those that don't say squat, but I'm usually wrong. I have not followed up on early defenses, however, and they usually turn up scum. Which is why I'm on it this time like stink on manure. But again, why would a town do it? Why stick your neck out for someone that says something off? The only reason I can think of would be to take pressure off them, which would be the teammate sort of thing to do. You were defending that we were taking her statement wrong. She could have done that herself, no need to come in and say it for her. Ok, a song request. "Brittney got drunk, started talking aimlessly Now she returns, flailing shamelessly" "Do not vote for her She wildly exclaims She was drunk, and will make up for it She cautiously explains." "What are we to think? Should we believe her or not? Pretty sure this outfit Makes me looks damn hot" Holy crap, that's going to the top of the charts!
  14. But why do it at all? I'm sure as heck not going to stick my neck on the line for somebody else on Day 1. The only reason to do so would be to take the pressure off of them, and only a teammate would do such a thing.
  15. Why so quick to defend her? Day 1 defenses of someone you should supposedly barely know are scummy. Melanie and Brittney are on my no good scummy scum scum list right now. Besides, you're not giving me inspiration for new material. I've already written a Day 1 defense song. I've let this go before, not happening this time. Vote: Melanie Detruccio (mostlytechnic)
  16. jotting down notes Rosie: clinically insane.......check!
  17. It does seem to happen more often than not, though, that there is an early defense that gets overlooked, or not pursued, and the individual ends up being scum. The last time we got all locked up I called someone out about it and it was brushed aside, and he was a bad, bad man. Reminds me of a song I wrote "Early defenses.... Seem kind of scummy Cherry chapstick Is kind of yummy We shouldn't just let her off the hook Or she might just kill us with a book" "Early defenses...... Not so townie God I could really go for some fresh made brownies Did we just see, a scummy hiccup? Did we just see, a scummy slip-up?" That's how you write and perform, folks. I really wish my sister would have the same talent I do, we might have made for a nice singing duo. She ruins everything for me!
  18. Thank you soooooooooo much! I really pride myself in my singing and songwriting. I will have many more where that came from, just need more inspiration. You only WISH you could sing like me. Everybody says I'm tone deaf, but I know they are just jealous. These pipes needs to be heard by the masses, I mean, just look at the compliments I've already received!
  19. Honey, you wouldn't know style if it slapped you in your weave. Mom's right, I am the better sister. I have come up with a song for you too, because we all know how good of a singer I am, at least somebody in our family got some talent. "Margret,.....Starts with an M OMG, she's got a snag in her hem. When she turns around, I see a giant butt All the rumors are that she is a s**t!" Is he speaking dog?
  20. I missed the role, this is what I get for not reading the whole thread. For that, Paris, I will sing you a little song "Paris loves the sequined dress Even if her face is a mess Throws on some makeup, but just a dabble Trying to hide, her Adam's Apple" That was amazing.
  21. Paris, are you a dude or a chick? I think you may have missed your last waxing.
  22. That bitch would be late for her own funeral. I'll go slap some sense into her and get her going. It's always, Margret, Margret, Margret. I can't stand her sometimes.
  23. Alicia checking in. Can't wait to get started tomorrow.
  24. Thanks, TrumpetKing, here's your answers.
  25. If you need a reserve, I can help out, but I don't feel I will be able to devote tons of time to the game, so I'll wait this one out unless needed. Good luck hosts.
