I sure hope that this set is a hit for them. It will enhance the possibilities of Minas Tirith(or other large set, but this comes to mind first) I would think. If a $200 LotR sets sells well, they may bring on a bigger set. If this set were to lag in sales, you would have to think that a larger set would be shelved as it would be too big a risk for them.

I'm a little surprised by the open back, because I really didn't think they would make this a play set. I was thinking more along the lines of Death Star II. The amount of detail is great, though. This will definitely be on my list, and will be interesting to see if any other retailers end up with it or not. I personally like the Ent, and Grima is very well done.

You don't like Shopko's TRU-like prices? I've never made it down to the KC Lego store, would really like to check it out as I've never even seen a PAB wall. Lincoln is blessed with an abundance of stores that carry Lego, just not at the prices we would like to see.

Looking at the night action sheet, I was targeted quite frequently by those that had actions, on both sides. I suppose it comes with the territory of being vocal. My only regret was giving up Andrew so quickly, but I was blinded by being so pissed off because I was sure that I had been lied to. It wasn't until later in the day that it was getting figured out that something had gone afoul and we were getting messed with, but the damage was done, and Andrew was rendered useless, unfortunately.

Works for me. Hell, I was just hoping that the faculty wouldn't mod-kill me for it. And seriously, was this about the longest game in EB Mafia history? The faculty had to be sitting there thinking "Is this G%* Damn game ever going to end?"

AHHHH!! We're done? Lucy(Esurient), excellent job. I never once suspected you as scum. Bob(Hammerstein) was on my list very early, but I could never get anyone else to follow me. Allison(jamesn), I was 75/25 on your side until I was able to figure out your lie on the doctor. I had too much info from Tamamono and I'm sure you knew you were caught at that point as well. Purpearljellyblob was a great asset as well, I just wish I could have gotten more info out of her. She probably never fully trusted me. The Frame destroyed any sort of credibility and I really didn't think there would be such a role in this game. I had followed some previous regular games so I knew what the role was, just didn't think we would have one, similar to the Serial Killer everyone was infatuated with. Hinckley - I originally screwed up, I posted something that I thought was in PM because I was going back and forth between the two. But after I did it, the idea popped in my head, If we can't get votes for Allison, we'll get them for me!! The plan was to then tie me up with Badboy and we'd save us both from the lynch, but then the day voting ended early and it didn't matter. So, you're half right, I initially screwed up, but the plan was then quickly in place to do what you thought we were doing, it was just kind of accidental. Good to hear it was an unprecedented move, though. That makes me feel good. I hope nobody thought I was a dick. I went after people hard because I was trying to ruffle some feathers and see who would snap first. Unfortunately, those that did were all town, and suspected me of being scum. I read pm's and the thread, and it was kind of obvious that those 2 were out targets for the lynch and investigation. Good job there, it really screwed us up for several days until Brian got the blocks correct on Shawna. The kill continually being handed down was frustrating (though I totally understand why it would hand down) Faculty - Thank you so much for letting me play, I look forward to many more games and matching up with Hinckley, because after his role as the hedgehog in the Heartlake game, he is my hero.

Just because a set has the 10xxx numbering, it doesn't make it a UCS. Technically, I don't believe any of those 3 are considered UCS.

Hmm.......had I known that the day was going to end early anyway, I sure as heck wouldn't have edited my comment, but I saw it as a way to help the town and even the vote to save Jeannie. I hope our headmasters understand. I'm fully aware of the rules and was trying to use them to the town's advantage. I doubt it would be the first time someone tried that.

My 6 year old is allowed to play with anything except the modulars. He isn't destructive and is very good with stuff, so I'm not too worried about stuff getting beat up. My 3 year old daughter on the other hand, is very destructive and I always have to watch her if the boys are building, because she loves to take stuff apart.

If you are both town, then I don't frigging know what to do. I mean, holy crap, we are down to the end, have spent countless hours on this, and could possibly lose the game because someone is too lazy to read. This is with the assumption that Bob is town, which I'm believing less and less, as I had a low belief in him in the first place. You know what, I don't even buy "lazy" at this point. The guy is scum. We know who the last two are. It is right in front of our faces.

Well, it's very simple. If Jeannie comes up town, Bobby will move right up to the top of the expel list with Allison. Bobby, give us your reasoning besides laziness for voting Davey over Allison, who has been pretty much caught for lying about her role.

Here's what I came up with. Allison told me that she told Cameron that she claimed her role to him Day 4(Mar 22). Cameron told me in pm that he had a claim of doctor made to him, on Day 2(Mar 13). Now, there are possible scenarios. 1) Allison is lying altogether 2) The original claim to Cameron was a lie, and Allison was the real doctor, and claimed at a later date. Of course, why wouldn't have Cameron outed the original claimer, or Allison at this point? 3) There was a doctor, was killed, and Allison knew the actions, then claimed the role for herself, knowing the first few days info and being able to lie about the rest. Cameron and I were very tight before the Simone crap hit the fan. He told me that the claim was made to him very casually. It is very possible this person claimed to Allison as well, and got night killed, thus allowing the scum to claim the role easily, especially after Cameron was dead, because he knew the real identity of the doctor, or was the doctor himself. Sorry Allison, my vote stays the same. The facts that I have just don't line up for you being the doctor. It is too easy to fake and your results don't mean crap since they can't be proven by anybody else since there is no watcher to see what you're doing. Occam's Razor. "When you have two competing theories that make exactly the same predictions, the simpler one is the better." Others have also taken this as to mean when hypothesizing, you should take out anything that is assumed. In this case, everything is assumed except for what is known, that Cameron had a Doctor Claim 2 Aperture days before Allison claimed to have told Cameron.

Allison, you have a pm. Cameron trusted me a lot and gave me information on the doctor, but it was vague. I think I can prove both ways Allison's claims. When I hear back from Allison, I will give you guys what Cameron told me about the doctor. It is of course possible this was a lie from the beginning, but since it was carried out pretty early on, I kind of have my doubts. I would just hate for us to make a mistake with this and then we are assured down 2 more town and possibly done for.

My Paintball players all had the same dot code. On the left side there were 2 larger dots at an angle from each other with 3 smaller dots in the middle of them horizontally.

I remember a few days back there were some rules posted about Godfather. Now I know every game is different, but what was shown to us was that if the Godfather is blocked, then night actions can't be sent in. I don't know if this is the case in Aperture, but it does set some precedent. Jeannie was blocked a few nights ago and scum actions still happened that night. I REALLY doubt a Godfather would miss a vote and get ones self killed this late in the game. I have been suspicious of Jeannie as much as everyone else, but between coming up town in investigation, getting blocked the same night as a kill, and missing a vote on Day 10, I have to doubt her scumminess. Davey getting blocked last night probably clears him of being a killer. I say probably because maybe our blocker was blocked, and then killed. It's possible. However, I think the panes would have shown Brian being blocked if that were the case. Between those that feel Allison is scum and Davey is scum, I doubt we'll have a lynch today and Jeannie will be dead, but maybe something will come up. But after yesterday's vote, I have a feeling we'll see Day 11 down 2 more townies or the game will be over.

Our local TRU in Nebraska got 1 single 60 count box on Thursday. I was able to get 3 Roman Commanders which made me happy and a Medusa which is really cool. I asked about buying a sealed box and they said they would only do it if they got several boxes in. Series 9, they only got 3 boxes.

Brian told me that the block was for Davey. Since we saw Day 2 that Sloane was allowed to kill before being killed, that Brian was allowed to block. This is under the assumption that Brian was the blocker, which I think him to be, and not only blocker's mouthpiece. I had specifically told him to get his actions in immediately for this purpose. In my mind, this clears Davey (for me at least) today. At least of being the killer. Jeannie not getting any sort of vote is a serious WTF moment for me. Do I think it makes her scum because she was saving her scum buddy? Not really, because she now has 5 penalty votes and will be almost surely gone after today since she really doesn't need any other votes to be gone unless the 5 votes are considered in the total votes for the day, which I don't think they are. What I mean by this is that with her 5 penalty + 7 of us, that there would be 12 total votes, needing 7 for lynch. I don't think this is how it works, I think she already has a majority vote, but I could be wrong.

Allison, you've been pretty dodgy about things lately and haven't wanted to really come forward with any real information or help. Right now, I will: Vote : Allison Reynolds (jamesn) This is all subject to change. I have gone through many scenarios in my head going back several days and this seems to me to make sense. What are others feelings on this?

We have about another 27 hours right now, I'm still working on some things. I was feeling better about Davey in recent days, but he may have just gotten himself caught up in that little sting this morning. Very undecided right now.

The Simone vote is going to stick in everyone's craw until the end. But it's behind us so let's focus in on who's scumming up the place. I'm going to do some voting research and post it later, but I have some work to do. I really want to look at not only who those remaining have voted for, but When then voted. Voting out someone that comes up scum when it doesn't matter doesn't prove anything.

Lots to catch up on. Thanks to those that cleared up the voting being wrong. I hope that my recent track record of voting for Shawna, Burton, AND Chuckie over the past few days shows my loyalty. Read my posts over the last few days, I continually go after Burton and Chuckie as my main scum targets. Bob is up there for me too, and is my #1 right now. Bob, I'm not sure what you want me to say about your allegations. I have voted for convicted scum that last few days, and sealed Chuckie's fate yesterday. Do you really think a scum would kill their brother when they didn't have to? It's not like I just jumped on board when it didn't matter, my vote got rid of him. There are 1 or 2 left, no way if I were scum would I reduce my team numbers down that far just to make myself look good. You on the other hand went after me and hid the rest of the day. I think you have more answering to do than me. I'm very happy the Blocker had a success with Jeannie, that is one less person for me to focus on. Between coming up town from Andrew and a successful block last night while we still had a kill, I consider her on our side. Lucy, good job on worming out some undesirables.
