  1. I would be very surprised if it was less than the $99.99 price point. Too many *new* minifigs that will pull up the price on a set that looks like about 500-600 pieces. It would make me happy, because it is my must have for that wave since I don't have the first, but I doubt it.
  2. Don't have Fred Meyer in Nebraska, but my local TRU only has the Catwoman set(at $19.99), but had a couple dozen left last weekend.
  3. Nothing would make me happier than a Death Star type Cloud City. Nothing wrong with the first, I think it was very well done at the time, but the ante has been raised on the high dollar sets, and that is one that could be amazing. I would have no problem dropping $400 on a Cloud City that was done well, with a bunch of figures and a midi Slave I like the Death Star has for Vader's Tie Advanced so that it could fit on a somewhat to scale landing platform. I would sell my original Cloud City in a second if they came out with a new one like this.
  4. Well, I was really hoping for the hospital, but I am again underwhelmed by the sets coming out. This looks more like my local doctor's office than a hospital. I will still get it because our town is in need of health care, but it isn't what i was hoping for. Since I missed out on the original construction sets, I don't see myself buying the mining series either, pretty easy series on my wallet. I have a feeling Marvel will be getting most of my summer/fall business.
  5. Well, since I don't plan on getting into the KOTOR sets or anything else EU, I'm not excited about those, but honestly don't even know what/who I'm looking at. Another starfighter? No thanks, already have too many. Gungan sub? Nah. I think there is another AOTC set out there with the Amidala headpiece that was published months ago. Hoping her starship is made all chromed out. Being older than most here, I am a OT guy, was 6 when ROTJ came out, so I was very excited when the rumor of the new palace came out. Color me underwhelmed. I was honestly hoping for a big one, but I am very pleased with the minifigures(though they will definitely push the price up ala Endor set). Lots of new characters and molds there. I sure hope there there is the possibility of the pit below to add on later, one can only hope. Guess the rock monster that we have now will keep filling that role. Not sure about the new skiff, but will probably get it. EDIT: I will get the Advent Calendar again though. It was a big hit this year, though I was kind of hoping that next year would be a Superheroes Calendar.
  6. I live in Lincoln and actually work for the University. I have more Husker gear than I know what to do with, as we are getting issued stuff all the time. Good to see some other Nebraskans and Huskers on here. I would have to assume, with the site name and all, that there are more Europeans or Aussies here than Americans.
  7. Well crap, that is what our town needs, and I refuse to pay the tremendous price for the old one, that quite honestly, isn't that cool.
  8. Same here, I checked this morning and they are on the truck here in town set to be delivered today. Now just have to find a good hiding spot until Christmas! EDIT: Fedex showed up today, Superheroes are here I would love to show pictures, but you know what the boxes look like, and these won't get opened until Christmas, and I'm sure others will here will have theirs by then to show and give a rundown. If not, I would be happy to.
  9. Quick question, and maybe this can be answered in a FAQ section I haven't found yet, but what is the determination on your group. I see I am a vassal, while others are knights, etc. Just curious as to its importance, or lack thereof.
  10. That is good news, as it is the only one besides the ambulance I am interested in getting either. That said, and I apologize if this has been answered, but has a hospital for this summer ever been confirmed, or simply speculation based upon the ambulance. thanks.
  11. Really looking forward to the next one. (Semi spoiler alert ahead) As others have said, the ships have been amazing.
  12. I preordered the Funhouse,Catwoman Chase, and Two Face sets from S@H yesterday. Can't wait. Free shipping on orders over $49 right now. I already had bought the kid the City Harbor a while ago for Christmas, but it will probably see ebay now, and we'll play with these assuming they make it in time.
  13. Yeah, I sold everything. I never thought they would be worth much, but was wrong. It helped that I was fairly OCD with my Legos and everything was still complete, even after not playing with them for about 20 years. Heck, even my monorail still worked. Like you said though, we are at a severe shortage of spare bricks now though. We have dozens of sets, but not much for simply building our own creations for fun. That's what we are working on now, building the supply.
  14. I got this also for TRU in Usa. They have been doing this about a day a week since Black Friday. BOGO 50% off never includes new releases, or items on sale. But it is a great promotion if you are looking to pick up some 2011 releases or older. My local TRU has tons of stuff from the last couple years, pretty impressive for being in the middle of the midwest US.
  15. Hello all- As you can tell, I am a dad of a young Lego enthusiast, and was a Lego builder as a kid myself. I grew up on the System sets ranging from space to castle. My son is 5, and loves everything Lego, except mine that I kept, I was told they are "lame" compared to the new ones. So we sold off all the old Legos and bought new. He (and I) are loving the Star Wars theme, and I am especially liking the new Superheroes line, as I paid no attention to Legos until about a year ago and missed the themed Legos that came out years ago. Since then, I have spent a few thousand dollars updating our toys. I have been a viewer here as a guest for a while, and am amazed at what many of you are able to build, I personally need instructions, I don't have the imagination that many here have. I look forward to getting to know others here, and look forward to the pictures, information, and future builds everyone here has to share. Thanks again.
