The Katoren Struggle: Ch. 2: Bandit Camp at Kharab Fortress
soccerkid6 replied to LittleJohn's topic in Guilds of Historica
It's easy to see you put lots of work into the story and accompanying pictures The beginning interactions between the bandits are quite humorous Lovely details with the shelter, and piles of loot and supplies. The large barrel design is quite clever And of course the ruins themselves look wonderful, and very much dilapidated. The walls are a bit more colorful than is standard perhaps, but I think that fits well for the ruined look and it being a Kaliphlin fortress. And there's only 3 stone colors, then the moss itself, so in reality, not all that many- 25 replies

Just another WatchTower... Or isnt't it?! ;)
soccerkid6 replied to Moyalmas's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That's quite a fun tower I like the use of the new pyramid slope on the door -
The yellow stripe gives a nice splash of color, and as LJ said, the SNOT ladders make for a great walkway

Another excellent space racecraft! The chunky look is great and that set of thrusters looks like it'd put out some serious power

Quite a slick group of star fighters It looks best in MANTIS colors

Welcome to Eurobricks! I've not been a huge technic fan in the past, but had the privilege of reviewing the new Porsche, and it's a beaut

[OL - FB3] The 'Gladiateur'

Interesting to see a ship without an enclosed cabin, gives a unique look. The detailing on the bow is excellent, and I'm again impressed by the plate sails -

[COR-FB] Jim&Bob's Excellent Pig Meat
soccerkid6 replied to Puvel's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That's quite a few pigs you've got there! The sausage on the table in the background finishes the build off nicely -
Wonderfully built facades, and the back is lovely too The yellow and dark green awning looks great, and I like the posts with chains lining the sidewalk Excellent greenhouse and garden too

I was planning on going to my nearest LEGO store in early June, but with this news I'll wait till the beginning of July

Excellent interior all around. The walls using brick bricks and stripes look very nice, with the windows and ship picture adding some nice details. Also the floor is quite pretty with the combination of dark bley and red. Your hat rack design is something I'll have to remember for future builds, and the desk looks quite official. Good corner cabinet in the back too

Glad to have you on Eurobricks!

That's a lot of black greebles! Neat connections I think some small wings, or engines on the side would look nice, as well as a few touches of an accent color

Excellent cave there, and an intriguing story The upside down sea weed as vines is a neat touch outside. And I'm looking forward to seeing the front overview picture when you post that -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 Rumors and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to 8BrickMario's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Quite a few cool figs in this series! Rogue is my favorite, the hood looks great for a Ranger from the Ranger's Apprentice series. I'm somewhat disappointed by the Arabian Knight, as he doesn't look much like a knight to me -
The simple striping and dark green windows look great, plus the mix of reddish brown and dark red for the roof is quite pretty. Well furnished interior as well

The working holes look like a nice improvement, and I love how there are so many archways to get the ball through
