  1. Sweet interior! The cheese mosaics in the floor, and wall texturing are well done A solid black, or dark colored wall behind the stone would work nicely to keep light from showing through any gaps. The dark green carpet looks pretty nice, but might be even better smooth, which if you don't have the tiles could be accomplished by using bricks sideways. Having arches below and above the windows looks great. Nice banners too
  2. Thanks Gunman, it is kind of crazy to look back and see how I used to build and the horrible picture quality Thanks Alfadas, and I'm glad to hear you have some more builds coming!
  3. I agree. It's an advertisement for the Guilds, using builds submitted in GoH. Seems straightforward to me, and it's publicity for the builders.
  4. For my 8000th post, i thought it'd be fitting to look back over my time in Guilds of Historica. I joined Mitgardia on November 12th, 2011, so going on 5 years in the guilds Challenge 1 got me to make my first Mitgardian MOC: Though I didn't know enough to post it as a separate topic, so it likely wasn't counted as an entry. My enthusiasm for the guilds waned some for a time, but late in Challenge 2 I decided to make an entry: Even back then my builds had interiors After challenge 2 I became much more involved in Mitgardia and entered lots of minichallenges and kept busy making freebuilds too. My first castle for the guilds (pictures are improving somewhat anyways ): My challenge 3 entry pictures seem to have been lost, but here is a WIP shot of it: And a build that I think marked quite a turning point in my MOCing career, and was also my first grey castle: Before Challenge 4, I hosted a small mini-challenge and was amazed by the entries, Commerce Challenge. My Ch. 4 entry was my biggest build at that point: My Challenge V entry was even bigger, though probably too big for my collection and skills at the time: Varlyrio Challenge entry: I made 2 full castles for Challenge 6, the second of which was my first build to ever be blogged on The Brothers Brick. I had the pleasure of working with Ecc and Kabel in making "The Blizzard" One of the first builds I ever photographed on a white background: My second minichallenge: Master Architect Challenge One of my favorite builds from Book 1: And my last build from Book 1 The first book in GoH made a huge difference in my photography and building skills And Book 2 saw even more improvement. My main build for Challenge I: Some free build highlights from around that time: Challenge 2, the Avalonian Civil War, led to my creating one of my best landscapes, and receiving an honorable mention : Then Challenge 3, Mitgardian's civil war, pushed me to make quite a lot of builds. Which earned me my first ever win in a GoH challenge Only took me 3 and a half years, and 9 challenges to get there More freebuild favorites, and much better pictures now. Working with other Mitgardians on the Frozen Beyond collab was tons of fun. I only made a few MOCs for the Kali civil war. But kept busy with more freebuilds and the Historica Husbandry contest. Then The Frozen Beyond contest started and I made a few entries. And a few more freebuilds brings it back to the present. Hopefully you enjoyed seeing this brief (but still really long ) overview of my time in GoH, and I'd like to thank all the guild members who have made this such an amazing project, and even those who just spectate. GoH has been my favorite part of the online LEGO community, and I hope it continues for some time
  5. Ah, I was thinking way more than just 4 builds being highlighted. Perhaps a poster for each guild, with 10-15 builds
  6. This is one of my favorite vehicles in your Project M so far. Great overall look, and that cab area is perfect
  7. Sweet race themed tilt system. The color choices, lettering, wheel knobs, and checker flag decorations really work well together
  8. The small trees look nice, and the racetrack has a nice layout Cool bleachers too
  9. The thick short trees look great here Nice tree trunk, and Robin's bow and quiver set aside is a fitting touch
  10. That cube is really eye catching Extremely detailed stand, and excellent foliage base too
  11. Great continuation to your story, the detective seems more capable than I first assumed Nice combination of MDF with RB for the walls, and the paint stand is clever
  12. Lovely color combinations for the walls, and the shape is superb! Gorgeous build and top-notch presentation
  13. Neat to see a build focused on gem cutting. The tan walls are well detailed and make good use of curved slopes
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks! I'd love to see some medieval customized figs from you
  15. Disturbing creatures with nasty eating habits Excellent parts use as usual!
  16. Cool! Would you like any suggestions for MOCs to feature in the collages? There are a lot of Book I builds I still admire and get inspiration from.
  17. Sweet group of samurai! The different colors make each stand out, and the flex tubing addition to your barding design is a definite improvement
  18. Great perspective for the picture The rockwork looks quite good for your first try! Embedding images is the easiest way to post pictures, you can find a tutorial on that here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97921
  19. @Wedge09: Good to see you in the guilds again! Rogue Angel just initiated an Avalonian roll call of sorts: The 5th and final challenge of Book II will be coming next, and will be based in Nocturnus. The Frozen Beyond Contest ended a bit ago.
  20. @LittleJohn: Sounds like a good idea to me Obviously, not everyone is going to come back, but if we could get some veterans to return that would be great!
  21. Excellent backhoe, the outrigger design is quite clever I like the scoop piece used for the rear bucket, and the slightly tilted windshield
  22. Great roll cage, and good over all shape Forklifts are fun to play with

    TSh-55

Quite a unique tank shape, it reminds me of a frog. Great gun design on top The two greens work well together
  24. The black and reddish brown work well for orcish architecture Good rock-work for the cliff too
  25. Not only is this a stunning display model, and tilt system, it also looks tall enough to serve as the table/stand for the maze The nicely detailed interiors are well done and each character's room is quite fitting Sweet that it has an automated ball return too
