Excellent stables! You have a lot of nice details in the build: the figs hard at work, the little stool/table with cups on it, the straw in the stables, and I like that the door open Neat windows in the back too, those printed tiles work nicely there
-
I like the target hung from the tree Nice pose on the guy sitting on the ground. As kabel said a little more variation on the ground with plates and plants would look good. Also you could add a red 1x2 plate to the back of the target so the center hole in the target is red
-
Excellent rockwork! The bits of gold are a nice touch Cool figs and backstory too I also really like your pillar design, you used something quite similar in your Challenge V entry right?

Excellent landscape, kabel. I like how you used trans plates in the stream, they give the feel of a river much better than all trans bricks The trees and vegetation look great too. I'm looking forward to seeing what Grimmson finds out
-
Cool troops. The backwards uruk hai torsos and the new dragon torsos work well
-
Cool landscape, I like how you layered the plates and the bunches of flowers add some nice color Looking forward to Phase 2

The Settlers go to Historica – Part III: Bookbinder
soccerkid6 replied to Yooha's topic in Guilds of Historica
I like the bright colors you used and varying roof lines look great Clever book design using those new brackets. Neat doors and windows too. I'm really enjoying your settlers series -
Great concept and the Blent looks pretty intimidating I like the SNOT slopes you used at the bottom of his trunk, they give an excellent tree shape

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks Thank you, it's actually coming along faster than I expected -
Excellent build, kabel As mrcp6d said the raised beds really look like they're made out of planks Does the house have dark red and dark tan as the color scheme? The dark red looks a lot like reddish brown, so I can't quite tell. Neat roof with the CMF baseplates

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Looking forward to it! Also welcome to all the new members, it's good to have you in the guild My large project is progressing very well, I think I'll be able to post it around November 1st. There won't be any WIP pics as I want this build to be a surprise. However I will post some facts about it over the next few weeks. Here's one to start: the baseplate for the build is 68x60... -

The southern watchtower looks great! I love how you incorporated it into the rockwork and the wooden details are excellent- 15 replies

Thanks Gideon! I've actually only seen this fall/early spring style being built over the last year or so, it's a lot of fun to build Thanks Torgar, I just got those torsos and immediately knew I'd copy your combo. They look great with white arms

Excellent short sword, the hilt especially It's neat that you're donating it to Creations for Charity

Very cool vignette. The uruks practicing against Rohirrim is my favorite section, great pike design

Hail ZCerberus, now also a History Mod!

Congratulations Z! Not at all surprised at your promotion -
SSounds great! Thanks! The angled plates actually weren't as hard to incorporate as I thought they would be. Especially if you use some leaves or foliage at the top side to hide gaps

I like the use of those dark bley wedge plates and having the mushrooms on top of 1x1 round plates rather than 1x1 cones or brick rounds gives a neat look. The olive green leaves fit well in the scene and your photography is top-notch

That target design is superb! As mrcp6d said, being able to stick 'arrows' in it is a huge plus The landscape is also excellent, looks very Mitgardian Glad to have you in the Northern guild!

As others have said the footprints look great The bits of crumbled wall add a nice contrast to the snow
