Plains of Valholl
-
I experimented with some more landscaping techniques: SNOT rocks, overhanging angled plates, and using trans clear as melting snow/ice. Credit for the torso/arm combo goes to Torgar. Two Mitgardian hunters ride their horses through the plains of Valholl: Any C&C appreciated

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

One question concerning the new building challenges: should we just add on to each scene for the next phase or do completely new builds? For example: if I'm doing the Military Archery category and build a field with archery target, should I keep that together then add on to the base and add more targets etc., or just build a completely new build? EDIT: And here's my free build, Mitgardian Hunters: -
Lovely trees Ecc! The spines work well for branches and I'm glad you showed us some pics of how to build one

Thank you very much for such a detailed comment, good point about the cactus too, it is rather fat Thank you, monsinjor Thanks Infernum, those olive leaves are really useful -
Wonderful build, Ecc Those trees are amazing and I like how you used the olive leaves in the cliff faces The castle layout and architecture are superb, the dark red tudor sections look great I also really like the rounded sections in the wall and how the castle is incorporated into the cliffs. And of course power functions make everything cooler. It's always inspirational to look at your large Castle layouts

I like the undergrowth, but the tree looks a little odd: the branches seem rather unnatural and it could use more leaves. Your fig posing is great
-
Wow, this is by far my favorite build from you. I really like how you combined bley and dark bley for the rocks and the path to the tower is superb The tower itself looks amazing, you incorporated the tudor sections well and the texture of the walls is excellent. Keep it up LD!

The dark green and dark blue plates give a very unique look and I like it Great rockwork and figs too, those Chima characters are perfect for Nocturnus

Your figs are superb, Nocturnus may just be the guild to beat in the mini-fig category of the challenges -
Very cool figs, LD As others have said your rockwork is incredible as always
-
Wonderful scene! I agree with Captain, your building style is fantastic The rock arch is great and I like the SNOT rockwork for the cliffs The angled green plates give a neat effect too

Cool figs, Captain I like your Nocty banner and as Torgar said giving the horses a charging pose makes the warriors seem much more intimidating -

Excellent vignettes! The forced perspective scene is superb and I like the Kaliphlin feel of the entrance to the Thieves guild The crates on their sides to hold scrolls is a neat idea and works well
