  1. Glad to have you Claus von Nassau Nice use of that raised baseplate in your intro
  2. As kabel said I'm glad to hear you won't be leaving us. I've always enjoyed seeing your Mitgardian builds, they often inspire me
  3. Thanks dG It still amazes me to look at what I was building when I started GoH and what I build now Thanks Gideon! And I have some special builds planned for this fall/winter
  4. Great community build kabel We definitely need to show more of Mitgardia's landscape
  5. Advice is the most helpful (at least it has been in my experience), criticism is good, but without advice on how to fix whatever was criticized it doesn't really help the builder much. So pretty much what kabel said, criticism with advice
  6. Great little landscape! I really like the irregular base you used here, and your tree design is excellent I like how happy your fig always is I think I have all the parts he's made of except his legs, are they from an old Castle line?
  7. This turned out really well! The orange/dark bley colors look great and the shape is excellent Lots of good greebling throughout too. Congrats on being blogged by TBB
  8. Very impressive towers and gates The white bricks give this build a unique feel
  9. Great Mitgardian landscaping The bits of olive green and trans clear add to the cold atmosphere, I'll have to experiment with using those pieces a bit myself. Fun to see Glorfindel in your build
  10. Neat little vignette Always fun to see multiple sig-figs assembled
  11. Cool texturing on the tower walls and I like your landscape As others have said your photography has improved a lot
  12. The sand dunes are incredible, those long curved slopes work nicely Excellent texturing on the temple ruins too. The tall towers seem a little too simple, I think some arches incorporated like you did in the center section might look nice
  13. Brilliant build! The stone and woodwork of the house are extremely well detailed, I especially like the slanted walls you've been using so much lately and the rods used as diagonal supports. Some of the less obvious details that stood out to me: the brackets you used in the roof line, the rubberbands on the window sills, the chain link used for the door handle, and the hide that Hastan was preparing The only thing that I don't like is that in the pictures the white door disappears into the white background, it almost looks like there's no door in the house and you're seeing right through it. I'm sure it looks fine in real life though
  14. Great work putting the suggestions you received into brick The walls look much better now and the roof makes it feel much more complete
  15. Looks great Infernum, and don't worry about the hair. I've been planning my next build, should be able to get it started soon. When I do I'll put up a WIP pic
  16. Great to have you building again for GoH Gabe
  17. Great scene looks very Nocturnus I really like the rockwork. The mushrooms, and dark tan palm leaves give a neat effect. The swamp water is interesting, not a normal approach, but it looks pretty cool
  18. Cool snow effect and I like the interior A roof would be a nice addition
  19. Amazing build! The sheer size is impressive, but the detailing is also superb, I really like the wooden sections in the tower and the landscape sets the build off well
  20. Thanks kabel! You actually noticed before I did as I was away at a soccer game Thanks ZC, one of my long term goals in the LEGO community was to get the MOC Expert badge, so I'm quite excited Thanks Infernum! @LD: Congrats man, you totally deserve it You're probably one of the youngest MOC Experts on EB
  21. I generally just use this: in black. But any shorter black hairstyle would be fine. All this activity in Mitgardia is getting me fired up so expect a free-build before the end of this month
  22. Excellent detailing on the main tower and house Lots of neat activity going on with the figs too
  23. Congratulations to the winners! There were lots of great entries
  24. Excellent work on the base for this scene, the path looks great and I like the irregular edges The palm trees and figs are well done too
  25. Neat trees and a very cute cottage Lots of excellent landscape details too, it looks like there are some sunflowers in there?
