This looks absolutely fabulous That roof was well worth the work it took, the layered effect with wooden supports and then the thatched roofing is stunning Superb layout too, the two piers/docks are sweet. The trees fit the swampy atmosphere perfectly too
-
Love the wooden architecture for an orcish tower The rocky landscape looks very good as well
-

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Good to see so much activity in Mitgardia I've been working on a large (for me anyways) build that will be posted in November ... -
Definitely a masterpiece The architecture, layout, and color choices are all splendid What I like most though, are all the little details packed in: the vendours' stands, stepping stones, garden, and thief being caught by the guards Stunning lighting as well.

I like the unattached 1x1 round plates, they give a neat look Nice fig posing as well, it's good to have you in Mitgardia

Just as good as I was expecting it to be The tower looks great perched on the rocks (just as the phase 1 tower did) and I like the wooden section to top it off The storage room/access tunnel is a neat touch
-
Another excellent build, the field design is superb and I like the bundles of straw
-
I like how you have the desk at a diagonal and the bookshelf looks great

(GoH) Task One: Celebration of Trade
soccerkid6 replied to Jakorin Swiftsword's topic in Guilds of Historica
Gorgeous interior scene I really like the tan/bley wall colors and the helmets on tables are a nice touch. Sweet throne design too -
I like the house section and it looks like you have a fold down ladder/ramp? Feel free to make small vignettes, even something as small as 8x8 can be really neat
-
Quite the impressive wine cellar you have here! As others have said the barrels look great and I also like the torch holders
-
Scary looking group I like the setting you made here with the palm trees, pond, and little building I think another layer of tan plates around the water so that there's more of a bank would look good. Though if you were going for more of a 'puddle' look, this works better

Nice vignette, I like how you took the picture so that the entire scene is LEGO I do think the suggestions about the ground texture are good
