Thanks! The claw is a bit blocky, making it a cheese slope/tile mosaic would allow for smoother angle transitions, but would also take a lot more work and patience Thank you Thanks LV, I was really happy with the insignia Thanks mccoyed, I tried a few different throne designs but decided this rather simple one worked best. Thanks MKJ, I just got those trans green bricks off the PaB wall, figured they'd be great for Mitgardian stained glass Thanks Slegengr! Thank you Thanks Garmadon! Glad to hear you enjoyed the collab Thanks Gideon, I had fun making the figs and including so many sig figs Thanks mrcp6d Thanks NM Thank you, Alfadas Thanks! Thank you Jorrith Thanks Sca, the floor was the focus of the build Thanks Infernum! I've used 1x1 tiles as decoration a few times before and really like them for Mitgardian or Dwarven builds. Thanks kabel, we should definitely do more with our bear sigil Thanks! Thanks Thomas, I'll be keeping the mosaic together for a while Thanks ME, glad you like the story Thanks! Thanks vitreolum Thanks Captain!

Very cool sawmill, I like the water wheel and saw mechanism especially I think the waterfall would look better if it was made with trans blue or clear pieces, or if you switched the rest of the river to standard blue. The hun warrior legs work nicely for the Mitgardian soldiers

Farmer Maggot's Work Horse - AoM: Mill Phase I
soccerkid6 replied to Slegengr's topic in Guilds of Historica
That roof looks amazing Great fig posing as well, the way you did the woman walking is clever Also that's the best scythe design I've seen -
That tree is magnificent Sweet landscape as well The tower looks sweet too, it's great to have you back building in the guilds
-
Very nice landscape to display your group of Hun warriors I like how you customized the figs, that one warrior must have a strong neck to hold up those long horns

AoM Stables Phase 2: Preparing for snow
soccerkid6 replied to Tomsche's topic in Guilds of Historica
I like the water trough and the snow looks pretty good, a few white plates and curved slopes mixed in the tiles would make it even better -
One of the best statues I've seen The beard and armor are incredible and I love the facial detail The patches of snow are a nice finishing touch
-
One of your best builds yet, I particularly like the field and fence The little building looks pretty good, but I think a steeper slant to the roof would improve it

AoM - Gatehouse Phase lll - And yet another orcish encounter
soccerkid6 replied to Alfadas's topic in Guilds of Historica
Solid finish to the gatehouse phases. I like the slit for defenders to throw things at enemies and the bunk beds are a good touch as well -
Great pose and incredible parts usage! I really like the dwarf minifig as well, that battle-axe lying on the ground is epic

Another fabulous build The curving roof is sweet and I like the tiny windows the house has. Fabulous stonework, the bley/dark bley with dark blue accents is lovely Great landscape as well, looks like some neat tree designs

Cool plate built water wheel I like the pulley with barrel too. The river would look better if it wasn't perfectly straight -
Spies in Low Places: CHIII Men

Sweet interior, all the woodwork looks great, especially the rafters The spy hiding in the chest works well, I wouldn't have thought of using just a head so that a 'guy' could fit -
The fact that all the Ent wives disappeared was always sad to me as well Very good ent and ent wife design

MEC Category A: The Black Rider Chase

Good landscape and excellent play features -
This build is for the Interstellar Outpost contest on Flickr. The idea is to build a one-man starfighter, landing pad, ground support vehicle, and comm station that together form a space outpost. I don't build sci-fi a lot, so this was a good challenge. After so many Castle builds, using lots of bright colors was really fun. The starfighter's wings rotate with a twist of the knob on top, to switch between flight and hover/landing mode; it also has a functional landing gear. The tanker truck has working steering (also operated by the knob on top) and 'suspension'. The comm station has a full interior and the landing pad doubles as a storage area. And just for fun, a picture with the colors inverted: See more pictures here: http://www.brickbuilt.org/?p=324 C&C welcome

Superb use of color, just the right balance of bright colors and more neutral ones The layout of the house looks great and realistic, having the stairs right next to the workspace. The workspace itself is very good, I'm amazed that you kept it from looking like a blacksmith's forge, and that red roof is probably my favorite section of the build I like the numerous entrances and the curtains are an excellent touch

Sweet build, LV. The 1x2 corner brick technique works nicely here and I like how tall the tower is The various githril accesories are neat as well

Lovely little textile shop, the little wooden roof over the door and the large open roof with lots of activity add to the Kaliphlin feel The bars holding cloth are a clever idea and work well, the bundles are great too

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

@MKJoshA: I thinks figs work well for avatars, builds are cool too though. I probably wouldn't do an official LEGO character, but that's just me -

Pretty sure that would be fine, though you could check with staff over at Classic-Castle to make sure
