TDKR over The Batman? Honestly I'd probably rate them around the same, decent but has some flaws. Batman Begins and TDK are the best Batman films in my opinion.

I'd guess a lot of people here including myself grew up with the prequels/clone wars. I think the highlight of the franchise was in the 2000's-early 2010s with the prequels, both clone wars shows, and all the books, games, comics and of course the Lego sets. I think the OT are the best movies but the prequels were still good enough to where they created an entire new generation of Star Wars fans.

I think the problem is all the 18+ sets taking up slots which could be playsets, I think we should only get 3 non UCS 18+ sets MAX. The number of clone wars playsets we get isn't actually that crazy especially when you compare it to 2008-2014, This year we got a whopping 1 set based on the clone wars. We also don't know all the leaks for 2025 yet so it is too early to jump to conclusions, and it is also the 20th anniversary of ROTS so what did you expect? It makes sense for Lego to capitalize on it.

I remember 5 or so years ago everyone was mad we were getting too many OT sets and not enough Clone Wars sets, now we finally got a lot of clone sets and people are complaining... My question is, what would you have Lego make instead? The OT as always received a pretty steady supply of sets and the Disney shows seem to get a decent amount too if they're popular.

(SPOILERS) Yes but what was the reason he killed victor? He clearly proved himself useful. They should've had a situation where victor got captured and oz decided to sacrifice him for his own personal gain, something along those lines, rather than just killing out of the blue. All that said it is still a pretty good show, especially compared to other shows based off comics.

As a side note, I found the penguin show to be a bit overrated. It's not bad but people comparing it to the sopranos is a bit silly. I didn't like how half of the episodes were just the penguin getting captured and then escaping due to his captors being completely incompetent. The end with him killing Victor felt forced for some shock value, what is the point of oz killing victor because he's too attached? He clearly doesn't actually care for Victor, his logic just doesn't make much sense.

I'm personally very excited for the MTT especially if it's the blue version, separatist sets have really been lacking in recent years.

yeah we got a lot of great sets from the OT, R1, and the few prequel sets during that time were pretty solid, even the sequel sets were good if you enjoyed the films. Looking back 2019 was the end of an era, before the 18+ set plague started taking over....

I'm actually starting to miss late 2010s Lego Star Wars because even though there were a lot of sequels sets which I'm not a fan of, at least we still got highly detailed and accurate playsets and less overpriced sets.

The UCS falcon retailed for $800 in 2017 which adjusted for inflation is now over $1000. But I agree it's crazy expensive, I'd rather have a smaller one for $500.

I mean, it's not that crazy considering there's been two sets that are $850.

I really hope the MTT comes with at least 12 battle droids preferably 16, and hopefully it's a bit bigger than the 2014 one.

I've never read the NJO (or any books with the Vong) but that sounds like an interesting concept for an episode.

Yeah I'm glad they gave The Clone Wars a proper ending but I was always disappointed how many episodes they left unfinished and gave us those horrible Martez sister episodes.

It always annoyed me how we never saw V-wings or AT-AP's in the later seasons of TCW

I think the first book in the trilogy (path of destruction) is one of the best Star Wars books of all time. Rule of two and Dynasty of Evil are good as well, but a lot of the story happens in Path of Destruction since it was originally supposed to be just the one book. At times the sequels felt like they were sort of tacked on. All in all highly recommend though, especially since you liked Plagiues.

Yeah I think Count Dooku is the most deserving of a remake, he's literally the main villain of AOTC and it's been almost 12 years since the last one. I would also add Magna guards to that list.
