Looks great. The style is awesome, love that era. Love the colours also, had no clue lego made so many pieces in this dark blue colour.

Nice looks good. Lovely colourscheme, black and yellow. Could go for a blacktron train even. Nice that you furnished the interior engine block. reckon a motor would go in the B unit then?

Really enjoyed this section of the layout you joined. Really great details and loads of small items.

[MOC+BDP9] ABS Grain Elevator and Hopper Car
LL1982 replied to zephyr1934's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I like this, love all the interior stuff. Ever considered actually dropping 1x1 rounds (yellow or tan) into the wagon to make it a working grain elevator? -
[MOC] Forestmen's River Fortress | Remaster

This is pretty cool, love this design adaptation into a modern version. Black trees and the two colours of leaves really work well. -
TrixBrix to start doing custom wheels and rods
LL1982 replied to Vilhelm22's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yeah I started a revolution! :D -
Regular switch, single cross-over and Y are 3D printed at trixbrix indeed. Does feel solid, but more a mat finish than the sparkling lego finish.

Looks great, really like the ideas in this. Even at 6w I think you already did a great job!

Thanks for clearing that up, will google for that.

Though I do not understand which part he uses for the switch it does sound good to have it move when the train passes. It does little play features which make stuff standout and make your kid also smile when you show a set.

Looks great, love all the details on the wagon.

Beside being a nice little MOC, I really like the use of the brick seperator as a roof awning.

[MOC] 2-axle passenger wagon in 1/32 scale (gauge 1)

Thanks. I will start with the executive summary and work back after that. Saves me a lot of testing I reckon. -
[MOC] 2-axle passenger wagon in 1/32 scale (gauge 1)

Thanks. Yeah I am testing that now. What is still feasible on fixed and pulling it over R40. Our table is not that big, so I need to keep R40 curves. -

Looks great. Are these axles fixed? I got some issues with moving axles and a single axle making cars derail at switches. -
Wow nice build in such a compact form. Like the SNOT and upside down building stuff. 6wide is not easy I also noticed.

12V system... but for the PFs (and not only)
LL1982 replied to Gabry Check's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yeah sorry, mistyped that one a bit. I meant with the BT trains (the new trains). -
Collection this, or still have it working, is enough achievement. I always spent time at old skool city / 12v layouts at conventions. There is something about this that just draws you in. Something that lego (or we) lost with the new stuff. Yes it is al prettier, but it lost a lot on playability and this vibe. I really like how it looks and all works together. I would maybe add a freight line right to the docks for a train.

Looks very nice, not 100% my train style. But definitly something I would consider when I see the BDP. Would be nice to have a more modern unit compared to the steam versions I saw last.

I like the looks of the locomotive. Also the three axle boogie.

12V system... but for the PFs (and not only)
LL1982 replied to Gabry Check's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Wow cool system, indeed the 12v age had some pretty sweet play features. Nice to see this combined with the new bluetooth. -
That is a nice idea to create a backdrop for the tudor. It nicely fits the image. Like how you made the acces to the top floor like this.

Nice, like how it looks. Indeed BL can be a pain in shipping. I've bought a cheap not complete trainset of marktplaats (saw your Dutch) to get the motor and hub for my train. Way cheaper and for the rest old bricks and maybe a few BL orders to complete it. But still in the end I guess the train will still cost 100+ for a 2 sections. Good that you kept the playability, need that to at home. Minifigs needs to move from left to right.

Nice, I am also trying out a 6w moc for a regular train based off this set. I am actually going for a stop train as that fits better with my city. Though for the nose of the eurostar I would look into the green speed train lego has. That feels more TGV to me. I like how you opted for the 2x2 windows (i guess thats the size). Ive been struggling on scale vs reality myself. You it to get the look and feel but needs to fit in a certain lego city like scale. What did you do for the doors?
