That's not the case at all. HobGoblin has them in a $20 set, Deathstroke, Batman and Spider-man have gotten them in $30 sets as well. And really, other than a new hair mold for Obi-Wan, boots are the only real update left for these characters. Qui-Gon and Maul were updated not that long ago, so boots for Obi-Wan would make sense.
-
I get the feeling that the main update for Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon will be dual molded legs. After all the Hiker in the CMF uses tan and brown legs. I'm not sure I see them updating Maul given how recently he was redesigned.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
strangely replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, she is one of the main characters, so it's not unlikely she'll get multiple variations. So far we've seen her Batgirl costume and her formal attire, so likely she has a regular set of clothing too. It wouldn't really be a stretch to get three versions of her (Especially in a world where Lego is giving us over a dozen variations of Batman). So I wouldn't be surprised to see a regularly clothed Babs in the Arkham set and the formal attire one in the CMF, sort of like how Wyldstyles western dress variation was (Also none of the set descriptions seem to set them at the party from the trailer, so the CMF is the next logical place). -

The previous Arkham was $160, so the new one is likely smaller. Perhaps it could be an extension to the old one. -
Of course they could! But likely they won't. I doubt it's close enough to meet Disney's standards. It would probably work for Merida though...
-
I'm kind of in the same camp. His hair is more spiky, so the Finn hairpiece has the wrong texture. To do the braid as part of the hair it would likely have to be a very short braid though.

Thanks for the info! Anything else you can tell us about the LBM sets or CMF?

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a minifigure version too. I mean he does have the ability to change size and shape, so it's possible we'll see multiple configurations of him in the movie. -

I don't really see either of those selling out permanently that quickly. And double points on those two sets should get them $5. -

Renee Montoya was actually featured quite a bit in Batman the animated series, so I don't see Lego having a problem including her. As for Batwoman she's already been a playable character in LB3. Ultimately if there's enough demand than those characters will appear. To be frank I hate the new 52 costume for Batwoman. If we got her I'd greatly prefer a DCAU version instead (I know it was a crappy movie, but I really like her costume in it better than any other version). -
I don't know. Yoda is only about two feet tall and is often portrayed as smaller than most children. I actually think the baby body would be a much better scale for him. He'd lack arm/hand articulation, but for an OT set that would be fine based on how little he did in those movies.

I'm guessing they must have plans down the line for them if they're skipping main characters like that now. Maybe they're saving her for something in year 3 or maybe an actual set.- 527 replies

It doesn't look bad, but I would gladly take an update. I think that the hair is maybe a little short for Luke. My bigger problem with that hairpiece is it stands out from the others quite a bit now. Almost all of the modern hairpieces are textured to some degree, Luke's old hair looks oddly smooth in comparison. I can easily live with it, it's pretty close, but perhaps a more detailed mold might sync with the other new hairpieces better.
-
That hair really changes the look of the minifigure completely. Glad they finally gave him a proper hairpiece, it was actually one of the few remaining updates I was hoping for (The other being new torso/legs for New Hope Leia and we basically already know that's coming). Now all I need is C3PO with a dual molded leg.
-
I don't know, I thought the same thing about the new Leia face and now every variation of her I have has that face, so you never know. There's some pretty rare stuff that pops up on there from time to time, so there's a decent chance it'll be added too.

I like these quite a bit. I wonder if these sell well if they might end up licensing designs from some of the popular minecraft youtubers. I would really love a Popularmmos and GamingwithJen set of minifigures (Of course they'd need to come with Lucky Blocks).
-
So, in the game itself they have special wand pieces, but the actual minifigures are still using the same old rods they've always been using. I don't even like Harry Potter and even I see that's stupid. For as often as they make these characters I really would have assumed that by now they'd have made an actual piece. Honestly, none of these comic-con reveals did much for me, except fool me (They used golden tickets to select winners for a contest and posted it on their twitter and for a hot second I thought this was in reference to some reveal for a Willy Wonka based pack, of course not though). Seeing a lot of these franchises getting one pack (Sonic, E.T., Goonies) really disappoints me, they could have at least done team packs. Hopefully a full list of sets leaks out before too much longer, cause honestly right now I'm kind of meh about year two.

I was wondering why the background for the image looked so strange, guess now I know. Oh well. -

I think your right. Too bad, I was hoping it was a new cloth element or something. Oh well, dozens of other new elements to be happy about. -

Is it just me or is Batman wearing some sort of new element over his torso, cloth maybe? Looks like there's some weird lines on his legs too. -
There's still several cast members they haven't identified yet, so there's still a possibility for Gwen or MJ, but really we shouldn't get our hopes up about anything in regards to this movie. There's no guarantee we'll get anyone outside of Spider-man and whichever villains are in it.

The Lego Movie sets had a ton of new molds, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot, if not most, of these new molds ended up in sets. -

I won't be happy until Harley overtakes Batman on variations. A Harley for every day of the year I say! In all seriousness though I actually do like the amount of variation we seem to be getting here. Hopefully we get civvie versions of characters too. -

But usually the flesh printing error isn't present on the official images (renders). Earlier in the year people thought they'd fixed the error because of how Captain America looked in official images, then physical images of the minifigure confirmed it still had the printing error. Between the official image, the Comic-Con banner and the physical pictures of Batgirl she seems to have medium dark flesh coloring. -

It is Barbara Gordon. That doesn't have to mean Commissioner Gordon is black, he could be white and his wife be black. Batgirl's skin looks to be a medium dark flesh on the Lego color palette, so I think her being biracial makes sense.
