LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
strangely replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
I mean, the leaked set list for summer is only 1-2 Pokémon per set, so I didn't think my suggestion was particularly outlandish. -

Pikachu looks rough, but Eevee and the others look good. Too bad I have no interest in Pokémon statues. Please Lego, give us some minifigure scale sets. I would love to get Animal Crossing style builds for Pokémon Centers, Gyms and other buildings from the Kanto Region with minifigures of the gym leaders and other game characters. It would just suck to get a bunch of brick built Pokémon and nothing else. -
At this point i don't even want minifigures, just give me a brick built figure like Wario for all the digifig characters.

The shuttle looks great, too bad it's a gwp. Guess I'll try to get it from a reseller. The Enterprise is cool, I just have no want/space for it. If they ever make playsets I'd definitely buy those though.

I ended up selling my great hall as I don't have the space for this new Hogwarts in entirety (nor the budget). But I might get the hospital wing if the DADA classroom looks good as that's my favorite classroom. -

That's a good question, there's no competing products for that one, so I'm guessing there was some other type of holdup. I can really only speculate, it could be a number of things. Perhaps the licensing took time to negotiate, or maybe they spent a longer period refining the design for production. Maybe they'll give us some additional information eventually. I am really excited for the Downton set. -

It was licensed by another brick company for the 40th anniversary. I'm guessing they have to wait for that license to expire. -
I don't hate it, the vibe just doesn't feel 80s to me.

I think red for Vecna is an okay choice. He's a very detailed character with a lot of color variation and texture, 2 things that a minifigure will always struggle to capture. They could have gone with a flesh tone as a base, but then he'd probably look nude, so red is probably the safer choice. I think most of the kids look good, but the older teens look pretty off, and that's solely to do with either faces or hair choices. Robin looks the worst to me. Her face just doesn't look right at all, it's a generic reuse. Her hair is a complete misfire. The color just doesn't make sense at all, her hair might have auburn to it, but not anywhere enough to prompt them using orange. This feels like a cost cutting choice because this piece already exists in this color. Personally I think they should have either gone with Nova's hairpiece or New Hope Luke Skywalker hair in dark tan. I will replace her face and hair immediately when I get the set. Nancy's face is okay, but the hair choice feels off, is that the Gabby hairpiece? Jonathon is a misfire on the hair completely, way too light. The face could really use some lines under the eyes. Steve's hair is perfect, the face is weird. The cheekbones make him look too old. As for the younger teens, I kind of wish they'd used mid legs. I get that these people are now adults, but in the show they're not. And some of them are genuinely just short in comparison to the other characters, so I feel like midlegs may have better represented their age differences. But the regular legs are also a valid choice, just a matter of preference.

As far i can tell they got the name from zooming in on the names on top of the box. They recognized the Mr. W and thought it was Mr. Wheeler, but then they examined it again and came to the conclusion that it says Mr. Whatsit.
-
Apparently the top of the box calls him Mr. Whatsit.

When I googled Holly in in ST5 I immediately came across an image of her with this character in this costume. So in ST5.
-
And Holly Wheeler

Set pictures leaked. It's the Creel house with r adio station van and red car. The house has trees on each side that act as handles and allow you to pull the house apart like the S4 finale. Minifigures from left to right are: , Holly Wheeler, Max, Lucas, Mike, Eleven, Steve, Robin, Dustin, Nancy, Jonathon, Will and Vecna

I'm delighted that we're finally getting another set. The one downside is that the cast is large enough that it feels unlikely that we'll get all the main characters unless this is a massive set. I'd love a Starcourt Mall set depicting the final battle in season 3. Creel House would also be amazing, and has a lot of set potential. It would be a good opportunity to get Max, Steve, Nancy, Robin and Vecna. Perhaps they could give a side builds of the surfer boy pizza van to give us Eleven, Jonathon, Mike and Will. I've seen that some of the new toys are based on the upcoming season, so it might also be based on that, which is fine too. I'd just prefer one of the already iconic locations.

Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
strangely replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sigh, I'm not suggesting they try to recreate the angle in a $100 set. I'm just saying a squared building with an angled corner would be a close enough facsimile to represent it for a set at that price point. I'm not even expecting the set to actually be Raimi inspired, just stating that's the only scenario where Lego convinces me to buy a 3rd Daily Bugle. As for the figures being limited because of it being Raimi inspired, I would like to point out Aunt May and Jameson in the Raimi train set. Neither characters were in that scene, Aunt May isn't even wearing an outfit she wore in that movie. I think Lego will make whatever comprises they want to in order to fill out a set and make it marketable. -

Oh, I have no expectation it'll happen. Lego doesn't have the best track record, I could 100% see this being a small, watered down version of the previous Bugle and it sucking in comparison. However, I don't believe it being the flatiron building makes the Raimi version impossible. They could make it a corner building with a rounded corner and it would work as a simplified version of that idea. It would also make sense for them to go with a completely different inspiration for this version rather than retreading what's already been done perfectly in a previous set. But time will tell. -

I'll buy the Daily Bugle if it's Raimi inspired, otherwise it's a pass. What I would like to see is a corner building (i doubt they'd be able to replicate the angle of the Flatiron building, so I think a corner building is a good compromise). I would like to see Jameson, Betty Brant and the Green Goblin included. It would be great to be able to replicate the scene where Goblin attacks Jameson, maybe a play feature where Peter Parker can change into Spiderman. Considering the Raimi versions of Spidey and Jameson already exist, it feels like a no trainer to have a Raimi Daily Bugle. -
LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion

That would be amazing. That's really what I want out of this theme, locations that I can populate with pokemon and trainers, to create my pokemon journey. I want my favorite gyms where I can recreate my favorite battles. I want minifigure scale pokemon moulds, not gigantic statues (which would be impressive, sure, but fundamentally no different then what's already been available before). I want a minifigure series of trainers, each with a different pokemon. But there's pretty much no way we'll get any of that. These video game sets almost never end up being what they should. I think the Horizon sets are the only ones they've made that are exactly what I wanted, to bad there's only 2 sets... -

I would be excited for this theme, but I feel like it's just going to be giant pokemon statues and not much else. -

I'm so impressed with this one. The build is wonderful, a really well down display piece. The moving waterfall is included and it looks like the chocolate pipe that sucks up Augustus is included on the left side. I also spot the canopy of the Wonkatania, so that's a welcome surprise. The minifigures are great too. I'm glad to see a new hat/hair combo for Willy Wonka. I'm excited for the reveal. I'm hoping they also include the blueberry version of Violet. It would be cool to get some references to the other rooms too. -

The Oompa Loompas are based on the 71 version. Wonka is a hybrid, he has Gene Wilders hair color, but the green pants worn by book/broadway Wonka. And the build is more Burton inspired. I agree we weren't going to get mixed versions, but it definitely wasn't a guarantee it would be the 71 version. It does make me wonder how much the build will change since it's primarily based on the Burton version. It would be cool to see them take out the bridge and add in the boat.- 68 replies

It wasn't a foregone conclusion. The design of the minifigures and build in the ideas pitch took inspiration from both movies as well as the broadway show.- 68 replies

The first minifigure just leaked from this set, Augustus Gloop. Interestingly, the design matches the 1971 version of the character, so I think it's safe to say the set will be based around that movie.- 68 replies
