  1. Perhaps we'll get new arms like the Manbat arms for one variation. That would be the perfect way to represent the web wings. Granted, now that I've said it, I've doomed us to getting a crappy plastic cape that goes on his neck.
  2. That's okay, I'm just glad someone linked it, I had completely forgotten too... It's a standard sized wall poster, so it's fairly large. Unfortunately that was as good of a picture as I could get without buying the poster. The posters were all rolled up and sealed in plastic, I merely took a picture of the poster as it was shown on the cardboard display box the posters were in. If they decide to put up the poster in the regular display racks I might be able to get a better picture, but that would require the workers at this store to do their job, so no guarantee's.
  3. Oops. I uploaded that but then forgot to post it here! Oh well, it was found either way. If anyone wants a closer look or wishes to have this image hanging on their wall, this is actually a poster available for purchase. I found it at Walmart, even at $5 I'm not much of a poster guy, so I just snapped a picture and went on my merry way.
  4. I wouldn't be surprised to see Montoya in the Scarecrow set, there's a heavy police presence in this theme after all. It would be nice to get Hugo Strange, Black Canary, Hawkgirl and the Wonder Twins from that poster.
  5. Nice build, and super happy to get Lando. I skipped the last A-Wing, this one I think I'll buy. Now we just need a Cloud City version of Leia and Lando and I'll be happy.
  6. It kind of makes me wonder if maybe they originally were supposed to be included in the Arctic Roller but were pulled and thrown in with the Batmobile to make it more appealing. Honestly I don't like that Batmobile at all and I'm kind of wondering how much appeal it has given that we've had like a dozen previous variations. For as few minifigures as this has it better be on the cheap side...
  7. Many times shorts that release with a movie will be contained on that movies home video release. Potentially it could be released with TLNM home video release too, but there's no reason it couldn't be released with Storks as both are WB properties.
  8. I'm guessing this means Starfire will be an actual minifigure. I mean we have Cyborg, LBM Robin, TTG Raven and Beast Boy, so it would be strange to not release her as a minifigure since everyone else got one. I guess they could do the character switch thing like they did with Ghostbusters, but that would be weird for a single character... Hoping we get a better hairpiece if they do release her. Though, I wouldn't mind a complete redesign altogether (there are a lot of different costumes for her, something different might be nice). I have to say, not excited for Powerpuff Girls. New head molds don't sound that great to me (didn't like the Simpsons ones at all), but it'll be accurate to the show I guess. Three characters with not only similar powers, but similar designs, doesn't exactly sound like that great of a fit for this game. Sadly I'd almost prefer the PPG villains as minifigures over the actual Powerpuff Girls...
  9. We could always get it with the Blu-ray, or in a polybag as a promotion. It's just too good of a variation for them to not give it to us somewhere. It's already my favorite Harley variant.
  10. Really like Barbara Gordon, when I saw that police hat in the 2017 city sets I figured it would be used for her. The pink Batgirl is definitely bizarre, but I'll get her too. Commissioner Gordon is maybe my favorite, just perfect. Nurse Harley is pretty awesome too, very Arkham Asylum. This makes me wonder where that skirterd version of her from that banner is going to appear. Store exclusive maybe? Red Hood is awesome too. The rest I'm not particularly in love with. They're all well designed, but many of them are characters or variations I have no interest in. Still some I'll pick up just for the pieces (the robes, lobster, rubber ducky and some of the minifigure parts for sure). I'd like to say that the Arkham Joker is the most disappointing one. It kind of depreciates the Arkham set to release this version here, if only just slightly.
  11. At this point I'm just hoping they're working on a LD2. Because DLC's for another year and a half clearly aren't going to work. This game seems to become more unstable with every wave.
  12. Iron Man's mask used 3 times between 2 sets... Anyways, that jet is super average, as is that Cap. Ms. Marvel is pretty interesting. Though I think her right arm should have had some printing too, as her sleeves don't go all the way down to her hands (at least in the pictures I'm seeing). Hopefully they included a regular torso too, or will somewhere down the line. This is a good innovation, but all I can think is that Lego has to do a Fantastic Four set now. It's almost teasing not to at this point.
  13. Really love Battle on Scarif, looks like a great build. The only other set I'm interested in is Duel on Naboo. I actually like this version of Maul and really didn't want to buy the last set he was in. The build is maybe a bit too simplistic but I really like having a playset for a smaller price point, so I can live with the build being what it is. My only real issue is Obi-Wan's hair. If they were going to completely recycle minifigures they could have at least thrown in a different hairpiece. I mean Finn's hair in that color would have been better than this same hairpiece that we've had for years. There are just so many other options. I'm almost to a point where I'd like to see that hair phased out completely.
  14. It would be awesome if they gave us the CW Flash. Who knows, maybe they'll give it to us as a polybag or something (Since that's what they did with Green Arrow).
  15. I bought the Lowrider from the Target at Easton in Columbus on Sunday. It scanned for $49.99, so no discounts so far. About 1/2-3/4 of the Lego sets in the Lego aisle did have 20% off on them, but there were still quite a few that did not. The newer Star Wars sets were still full price and the larger of the August sets in the licensed themes were full price as well (Though the largest Captain America set and Angry Birds set were mysteriously full price despite the rest being marked down). So, I definitely wouldn't expect a discount on any of the LBM stuff, at least not yet.
  16. I'm confused. So, it's just a pink Batgirl? Is this based off an actual thing from the comics or is this just a LBM invention?
  17. That's so strange though, has Batgirl had a pink costume? Is it possible tutu Batman is being mistaken for Batgirl? Or perhaps it's not truly pink, but rather just a pinkish shade of purple? I know it's a lot to ask for, but I'm kind of hoping it turns out to be a 66 Batgirl (With an new hair mold for the stud connection on the cowl, this time representing flowing hair rather than a ponytail). Granted, by allowing that thought to wonder into my brain even for a slight second I'm setting myself up for disappointment. At the same time though I'll take any Batgirl variation they'll give me, she's one of my favorite female superheros.
  18. I actually really like Clayface. The expression on his face could use some work, but otherwise I like the build. It's nice that Lego made the coloring more consistent. Usually there's massive amounts of wrong colors mixed in, here it's pretty minimal. Scarecrow set is kind of meh, might wait for a sale. Of the Ace Chemical trilogy set I am only really wanting the Mr. Freeze set. Though, I applaud the combo as a whole. I hope Lego does this more often in the future.
  19. Looking at the new images of the Batcave, I have to say that if the set was just the vehicles, than I'd buy it gladly. The Batcave itself is just kind of a mess. The parts are interesting, but the execution of the build just doesn't work for me. I'll probably try to get Alfred, Penguin and Bruce, possibly the Riptide and the duck boat.
  20. I see. Well, the torso design is decent, but the face and hair style is a little underwhelming. Granted, with the face being a digital effect it's likely the real thing will look quite better (Possibly even a bit different). The color for the hair is good, but the style isn't great. Also, it's a bit odd her eyebrows are so dark in comparison to her hair. I don't know. It's accurate, but somehow it just feels lazy. I mean they could have done a proper version of her uniform with skirt printing and dual colored robes, but instead they went with a generic hoody... Oh well, at least I'll have the proper face for a purist Belle.
  21. Hermione is an oddly boring design. Granted I have no interest in the HP theme at all, but this design strikes me as being overly plain for that franchise. Usually HP stuff is much more eye catching.
  22. I think it had to do with the casting for Barbara Gordon. If the red headed police officer in that prelim that was floating around a while back was indeed Barbara Gordon, than that would imply that originally she was going to be white, but they changed that when they hired Rosario Dawson to portray her. At that point it just makes sense to change Jim Gordon too. I mean they didn't have too, but I suppose changing his race is easier than tacking on some explanation about being adopted or her mother being black or any number of excuses (I'm remembering Sue Storm's explanation in Fant4stic and how tacked on that was and how it served no purpose other than to explain away something that people could've just guessed on their own). Or maybe Lego didn't want to produce another old white guy and red headed woman as there's so very many of those floating around in the licensed world to begin with. Branching out like this definitely helps make each character a bit more unique and easy to identify (Because the amount of red headed white woman in the superhero theme has become ridiculous). I actually really like Jim and Barb here, I greatly prefer these designs over most. Barb especially is really well done. I'm kind of guessing the trench coat version of Barb will be in the CMF. That seems like the type of new thing that would be introduced into a CMF.
  23. Interesting, Alfred is wearing a bat costume at the end when they're falling. Looks like it's a Batman the animated series version too. We better be getting that. Barbara Gordon's hairpiece is awesome, love the movement. Love her trench coat. I am wondering if it's possible we'll get that, that would definitely be something they've never done before.
  24. They usually take the official Lego box art and put their brand name over Lego (Some of these companies even make their brand logo similar to Lego).
  25. We could still get Pamela Isley and Selena Kyle versions of them, so there is a chance.
