  1. I didn´t want to answer, but whatever. I would advice to read the thread (at least the last sites) before posting "news" then you would have realised that this was already discussed here. ;) As for the figure all is said about it I think and I just hope we don´t start the loop again.
  2. I have no doubt that a Lord of the Rings Theme with smaller Sets would sell well. When we are looking on past themes that people wanted to see back Lord of the Rings always was one of the ones mentioned often and overall a theme that has many fans, both AFOLs and ones that usually don´t buy Lego (for themselves). I don´t think it would be as successfull as Star Wars or Harry Potter, but still doing good.
  3. Medical would make sense, however they are likely included in scientists.
  4. I actually don´t think that the BDP has that much influence on what Lego would do as a Set and what not. Another wave where nothing interests me that much - most likely Set I would think could get through are A-Team or Simpsons. But usually Lego does surprise me and takes something I wouldn´t have thought they would choose lol.
  5. It would surprise me if it wouldn´t be exclusive for the first three months at least.
  6. You should ask @Falconfan1414 directly. Only he will be able to answer your question. There are plans can mean anything from more Brickheads, over more Big Sets to a theme with playsets.
  7. Placing Affiliate links could also help, like placing one to the various Lego Stores to the main Page (however with that many different countrys here it might look a bit bloated if there is one for every country)
  8. I didn´t even know they do that lol. However the sales depend on their own sales only I guess? So in the end you will still not know which set is the best, since the way the sets are sold differs.
  9. With code I mean the QR code people use to see what is inside the set. I think the main cost for braille will be that they will have to get the machines that can do that - but in the end if they plan to use braille on all their sets that cost won´t matter much anymore. If they even would do that themselfes - I mean in the end the carton is just delivered to them and made elsewhere I think, so they would likely order it with the braille applied already.
  10. If they would make an own package design for each then yes. But they could acutally just put the name where they put the numbers from the code and it would be no additional cost at all. And in any case the braille would still be there anyways
  11. Yeah, well both this and the one I mentioned don´t really tell much about how good the sales really went. Especially since in the one mentioned above, someone said, that someone else said ;). It might also depend on the country in the end. Anyways, the Galaxy Explorer and the Eldorado Fortress both are taking a modern attempt but still trying to stay very true to the original set, which makes them appealing for fans of the old sets but on the other set, might not appeal that much to other adults and kids - which doesn´t mean there won´t be such that wouldn´t like them too. On the other side the Lion Knights Castle is a set that I think more people would find appealing, because it should have an similar appeal to Afols, Kids and other adults - while of course the prices limits the people that are going to buy it more than with the Eldorado Fortress or the Gaaxy Explorer. It isn´t. One of Lego´s Exclusive Partners gets it per country.
  12. That depends whether Lego is going to keep that codes for the next series. I mean, in the end they should have known people will find out about them but who knows. In the end, when they want people to know what is inside, they can just print it on the package instead of making codes.
  13. Yeah. Well however, that is why I wrote it in my comment - it would be wrong to assume those numbers would be the same for all consumers but that is why I would be interested to know the source that it actually sold badly.
  14. I am wondering where you got that from, since it was in the top ten sales of Lego´s online shop - well at least when it comes to the information a german blog got from their affiliate-programm, so at least among afols it was very popular. Might not be that appealing to kids.
  15. Was there ever any proof for the claim Lego isn´t allowed to do an own Space theme? I have heard it often enough here, but it is just hard to belive, that it really exists. First of all it would just not make any sense at all to make an agreement, that doesn´t allow Lego to make an own Space theme but basically lets then sneak it in as a subtheme and create spaceship in several other themes like Monkey Kid, Dreamzzz or Icons. As for the colours of the windshields, I would also think the reason is mainly because the city sets, even now beeing themed in the future have an more realistic look, that is intended to look like it is developed from earlier city spaceships.
  16. I am glad they didn´t make any stand for this. First of all this is a playset, and what would kids need a stand for it? It would only make the set more expensive and likely less people would buy it then. Also you can easily build your own stand if you feel the need for it.
  17. Well, maybe because of the Forum Rules and Lego might not like it - and since this Forum partners with Lego for Conests and such, there are certain rules they have to keep to.
  18. 320-520 actually. Which is quite a big span.
  19. Hmm, wasn´t it mentioned somewhere that it was supposed to release next year? I mean, they have the benefit that they can reuse stuff from the Harry Potter and even from the Fantastic Beasts Films, so they don´t have to do everything from scratch. Plus I am not following that series closely, but weren´t they already in casting? So if they are casting actors they should already be far with the series since it won´t make sense to cast them way before filming begins - especially with the child actors.
  20. No idea really, and we don´t know the details of the contracts anyways. However, movie licenses are in the hand of warner and since Lego got them for the Lord of the Rings it shouldn´t be a problem to get Hobbit aswell, even if they aren´t included in whatever license Lego has already. The question might be more if they really want to do a Hobbit Set. However a Lonely Mountain Set in the Size like they did Rivendell could look pretty good IMO. I don´t know where you are getting that price from. People always claim the survey had 400$ price tag, while for real there was just a price range. And the price we have now is still within that price range.
  21. I was actually thinking we wouldn´t get a new wave this year and rather continue with the old one, so they can acompany the series next year then - so with us getting a new wave now, it doesn´t look like they are planning to make sets for the series right now. And starting 2027 with it would be rather late.
  22. I doubt you would get an answer. And yes, he is talking about prototypes there.
  23. Well, if we are being honest here, Lego only has the License for the Movies and can´t specifically include stuff that is just in the books - so of course, they are fans of the franchise and surely want to sneak stuff in that was in the books - best example for that is that Gimlis father is included in the Rivendell Set, although he isn´t mentioned as such, because he has a short scene in the film and is not named there - however we all know who he is and I don´t think he would be included in the Set at all if it were just a random dwarf ;) Aside from that of course they also have to find details in the movies so their set doesn´t look empty, so I would say you both can be right without one beeing wrong.
  24. I am actually surprised we didn´t got that one yet - could have sworn we got it already lol. Well anyways there are still many Dinosaurs missing so whatever new Dino´s they are doing, I hope the have movable Arms/Legs. Still a bit disappointed about the Brachiosaurus and not really a fan of the new Dilophosaurusmould.
  25. Hmm, but a bus in that size and for that price tag would seem more like the yearly big Set to me - which I actually don´t think is in the list yet - and which we expect to be the burrows. If they are doing the bus I would expect it to be a bit smaller than that. So my best guess for the 200€ one would still be either the great hall + something or the underground/rock section of Hogwarts. Aside from that it should be something that is not part of the castle itself, my best guess would be Nocturn Alley in that case.
