Jurassic Properties 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
So we are getting another set without (moulded) Dinosaur it seems. Wondering what it will be since we already got a buildable Dino and a Skull, and I don´t really think we will get a second of either. -
I don´t think people would expect the series to be full of retrofigures and the past has shown, that new figures work well without that. However soemthing like a Cartboard Knight is something I (and probably many others) wouldn´t be interested for sure. I mean space had some fun ideas with the orion figure and the saucer costume, but for castle there are just so many different things they can do with it that it would just seem like a wasted slot to me. I mean, they can include Knights, Rogues, Peasants, different professions, a Princess and if we expand in the fantasy theme, the things they can do are even more unlimited ;). In the end they shouldn´t have problems to fill several series with ideas if they would like to. In the end the more minifigures are included that can be used several times the better. Though of course there will always also be the ones you probably won´t need several of like the wizard, or the king etc. Exactly. I would really hope for some more peasant minifigures, or other commoners to populate peoples castelworlds.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Totally agree here, I was happy that they did the Classic Orange Spaceman in a GWP later and it was avaiable on PAB and then even in the Insiders Tic Tac Toe Set. There was no way I would have spent 15€ for it. -
That is likely what they would do, yes. And I am actually not sure if I would prefer that - I mean we already got some of the older factions, and right now I don´t think I need any particular of those we didn´t get yet. I´d rather have a more generic series honestly. Only for the price machine as far as I know, and we will see once that once gets the first leaks. I just don´t think that would work though, since there will always be one figure that is worth more than others - best example is the D&D series where we got a lot of great minifigures but the Dragonborn knight still is the one that most people tried to get. I don´t think that would be an issue, in the end, they surely wouldn´t make those two to close to each other, but we already know what we will get this year so the earliest we would see a castle series would be next year anyways, and they have done Marvel Series 2 two years after they did Series one also. However they could of course deceide to rather make a D&D Series two, than a Castle themed Series (in that case I would still have my hope for a Castle Series for the 50th anniversary of Lego Castle 2028. Space didn´t seem to go that well, yeah - and I have doubt the (non CMF)-F1 Series will do better (probably it will do worse) but they do know that Castle Figures are doing well, so I don´t think they will come to that conclusion. The main justification they would need IMO is that it will sell well ;). Maybe fewer, but in the end the series will consist of twelve figures so finding 2-3 surely wouldn´t be hard ;) Include a rabbit as a companion to a knight and you already got one ;). Yeah I also do think, if that would be a reason, they could just do a Castle themed series without bringing back any of the older factions but just new stuff like they did in the past and make a mix of knights, rogues and peasants.

With how well the D&D series went and and the fact we got a space themed series last year and a F1 Themed (although not CMF)-Series this year, it doesn´t seem like a unlikely thing to happen that they will make a castle themed one too - though they seem to accompany product lines and a castle Line seems kinda unlikely to me - so it could depend on if they want to make a themed series over multiple themes now every year, or not. Eitherway, I also could see them doing it for 50 years of Lego castle, but that would mean we would have to wait three more years for it and IMO with how popular castle figures are in like every series they hopefully do it sooner than that. A second D&D series also seems fairly likely to happen given that the one we just had was probably the best going so far.

Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
If they would include Moduls like they sell seperately in the Castle Parts, that would increase the price by a lot though. So I think it is good like it is, though probably something else than the transfiguration would have been a better choice to include in such a small build. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
In the end it could hint towards futuron coming - or just reference towards and old theme, both already happened. Who knows, maybe the rumoured Blacktron 2 Set actually is a Futuron Set instead - or just includes both - or it is a blacktron 2 GWP and Futuron is supposed the next bigger Set - or something else ;). -
There is a lot included in that Set, especially if there are 18 Minifigs included, and I really like it - though not sure if I will get it, since there are already enough quite expensive sets out there anyways. I do like the little things that are included, but agree that a I would rather prefer it to be a little less and more affordable - though I wouldn´t actually take much of the little builds, but rather decrease the size of the siege weapons instead. I mean they included pictures of the Siege tower with the Lion Knights caste, and a smaller tower would actually work better I think. To me it actually seems more like the strongest series we got so far, would especially think the Seaside Market, Siege Encampment and the Train to do well. But we will see.

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Kinda weird that they didn´t make a Picture of all the minifigs like they did with the other sets -
People on Reddit are speculating about the same stuff. Though I wouldn´t put to much into them canceling one Set, that has happened to other themes to without getting canceled. And especially for dreams it could also just mean that it showed that that expensive sets aren´t working for this theme. Not that I would be totally surprised if it gets canceled in the end, but I don´t think it is running as bad as Vidiyo that they really have to cancel the theme with Sets close to release.

It isn´t that uncommon for them to also include play features in adult oriented sets though, The Lion Knights Castle has quite some of those. But I do actually think that he was more referring to getting actual smaller Sets again. -

You have a screen of that hint? They look really cool, especially like the Atlas one. But I don´t want to know how many bricks went into that build lol. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah, I know but as far as I know they only sell them in few countries (only Denmark and Skandinavia or something) And I don´t understand two things, 1st of all why they actually don´t sell them in every country and if it is just through their online shop. And second, why they even keep on selling a complete set out of different boxes and not include them all in one, smaller box. I mean in the end it is probably easier that way to package them but still. -

Probably you are right, but I would guess the biggest risk is when you assemble them anyways. But shouldn´t it be more a problem if it was actually disassembled and since you would have a higher risk assembling it again than keeping it assembled? -

The question would be though if that would help you much. I mean in the end the replacement parts will just have the same issues as the ones you are going to replace. With normal parts that wouldn´t be an issue but exclusive printed bodies will all be from the same time with the same material. And even if it might still look fine when you receive it, it might beginn to show issues after a while again. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It depends on luck mainly. In the end you have to be the first to get there once a fresh box was opened. At least before someone seeking for the Dragonborn gets them. Another option would be, though might be to late for it now, to ask if they have another box in store. 6packs are really a strange choice to me, since if you plan to get a whole series buying two might get you a whole series - or twice the same - or a completely different constellation since I belive people posted here before that there are not two different sets of them but apparently several different mixes. Eitherway, not idea why they don´t just start selling a complete Series everywhere. They could even just put it in one box instead of several small ones and save packaging material with it. -

Those are exactly the reasons why I said that Lego might still be an option, if not the better one. And 20% is basically the mark where I would start considering buying it from somewhere else than Lego - below that, it just doesn´t make sense to me to buy it from Amazon. But yeah you are right that it will probably not even get discounted that much and the usual discount for exclusive Sets with 15% - well I would just wait for a nice GWP and take it from Lego instead. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
If every series is delayed, then the whole mention of that the series would have shorter shelf life because it still retires in April is kinda megablocks too. I mean in the end it retires when it is sold out and when shops discount them to make space for the new one. Aside from that the Title is pretty much clickbait too, since they could just write in Australia and NZ. -

And, you had luck with all bricks included, or had to replace some of them? Glad to hear you like them, especially at the price they are going nowadays would be a shame if not. I still don´t think that an Erebor Set is impossible, once they have done all the Major Locations for the Lord of the Rings - which would still take some years ofc - and then they could still just start again - but only time will tell. -

We will see how big the discounts are. If they just go 20% off, Lego with GWP might still be an option, especially for Back to Hogwards if you don´t want to have the exclusive Set. Speaking about it, kinda strange there was not the slightest rumour about it and yet we already have leaks for Black Friday. Then again, I guess the Black Friday one was very early this year. -

Well if we take a look at horses in production right now, they would bring back a black colour in the first place and I think a new print would also be needed. And trust me, that alone would be a reason for people to buy the set early if the print is done well. What would be more the question there is of course, how likely it would be. I mean a new colour and new print for the horse are one thing, but if we consider that the GWP is also the reason the Nazgul is kept in production for this GWP, then it I guess they would get budget issues. But well, not that long till April so I guess first rumours about a GWP should be coming soon - if there actually is one in the first place. -

Yeah same. Either a GWP or a discount. Eitherway I have time. But pretty sure it will also show up on an other retailer like the Galaxy Explorer did at Smythstoys. -

Glad to hear you like it. And well they do often better in real life than in Pictures. And especially they tend to look bigger and more worth the money often ;). -

At that size I would expect Gandalf with his Horse and Carriage already included in the Set. The most fitting and Iconic scene that comes to my mind for them to show is where they were hiding under the tree - of course we wouldn´t see 4 Hobbits under the Tree and even with one Hobbit I kinda doubt they would include the tree +Nazgul and Horse in a GWP exclusive to a 200-250€ Set. And no Hobbit at all doesn´t seem more likely either. So maybe they just go with the Nazgul+Horse and a little Sidebuilt?
