Since BB Code isn´t working anymore, does this affect Pictures linked in the past with this method? Because I´ve seen some broken pictures recently, for instance Your First LEGO Set - Page 11 - Community - Eurobricks Forums or [Alt-Build Contest] Datsun Z Rally Car (5550 Custom Rally Van) - LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling - Eurobricks Forums Ok, the later one was posted after the maintenance, but if the codes wouldn´t work anymore, I would guess we would see the tags there right? As for the first one, interestingly I could see those pictures (in a small version) browsing for unread content but once clicking on the thread, they don´t show anymore. An other, small "issue" I´ve spotted is, that in some places (number of people that have voted in polls or the number of members recently browsing a topic is in Black letters on the blue ground, which isn´t that good to read IMO. Aside from that I the update seems to be doing quite well, especially happy that loading unread content doesn´t take forever sometimes anymore - so thanks for all the work you are putting into this.

You mean a floor plan for the film Version of Hogwarts? If you have/plan to do something like that, I am sure it will be usefull for someone in here.

I wouldn´t mind if they would actually go for a fourth year this time, and actually if we are getting the staircase tower now as a big Set we basically got the the part in two years that they made in one Set in the first wave after the themes return - and well given we are already in the second year, it also seems like there is to much left missing to just finish it next year - unless they make smaller sets out of the rest (or a part of it is already included in the summer wave).

I think at this point noone is in doubt anymore, if there would be anything else coming, we would have heard about it - however to me it is still a strange choice to give it the place of the CMF, rather than making a series alongside like they did with Vidiyo. Anyways, not interested in that series, and neither in the Spiderman one, so in the end it is saved money. Last year we had three great series and in the end I spent way to much money on them. And it is not like there aren´t enough other Lego Sets on my list, so actually a bit happy about the CMFs.

Price to piece ratio is soemthing that is easy to track and also normally the first info we get about a set is the number, name, price and piece count - so we won´t get rid of it, but I think it is also quite common agreed on, that that alone doesn´t tell us much about how good the price for a set is - in the end there won´t be an objective way to measure it. That beeing said in the end I look at set and then decide whether it is worth it to me or not - ppp can help with that, but in the end the price there isn´t the price I am going to pay for most of the sets anyways (and if then with a GWP). On a side note, Sets got way more detailed in the last years and naturally that also means that the sets get a lot more little parts than they used to in the past - but they also look much better, although granted older sets still have a certain charm ;). That is also the reason why the great hall is much bigger compared to the microscale Set, since there is a lot air surrounded by bigger pieces - but I don´t think a bigger size is in the end more worth.

I had no idea, how they are even conected honestly, and didn´t pay much attention to it when I ordered them anyways. But in the end when you don´t buy them for kids to play with, you can just leave it without the pin.

I wouldn´t say it is terrible - at least in this theme, since that means we can expect more Dino in the Set (and I don´t necessarily mean more in numbers, can aswell just be in size).

I would take fawkes as granted, since I would take Dumbledores office as granted too. But in the end, even in the most detailed Hogwarts, they won´t be able to include everything we would wish for, since it will probably be just three years like the last two waves. Well I think it is ok that they sell the parts on their own, in the end there might also be parts that people might want to buy on their own. But additionally an option to buy complete animals would be nice and I wouldn´t be surprised to see it added in the future.

They were added last year in August/October but went EOL last year - if they are not listed in out of stock it is because they aren´t avaiable anymore - the rest are just leftover parts that are around till they are sold - though not sure how good the chances are for them to sell without the rest of the crocodile

Beta is another case though since they needed a medium sized Raptor compared to the adult blue - and the baby raptor they like to include in many sets certainly was to small for it. And well raptors are way oversized in the movies and even beta would still be to big compared to minifigures sizewise. Anyways, I don´t think they will redo the brachiosaurus mould sadly, even if I would wish they would do it so we get movable legs. However I would expect that at least a new head if they are going to reuse the other parts for the titanosaurus. But we will have to see how it looks in the new movie compared to the Brachiosaurus in JP.

There is no such thing as the universal European look actually. There are some specifications on how they should look like but each country can choose whether they want to follow it or not - or which parts they follow if any. That beeing said, that probably is also the reason why they changed to the new design, because that actually comes way closer to the European standard than the white one. Doesn´t change however that the old design can aswell be based of some European designs, since the red and white wasn´t uncommon here either.

I think it is there for a reason, and honestly, shouldn´t be changed. Normally people should take some thought about the name they choose, and sure with time they can grow to dislike their name for whatever reason, and if it is just that they like another more and using that in other places. However once a year should be fine and I have no idea why people would want to change it more often - and if they would, well they can still request it in the appropriate threat ;). But allowing people to just change their name like they want would just lead to more problems IMO, since the name is how people recognize you alongside the profile picture, which you can change too ;). Usually also the reason why some forums have a period where both names are showen so people can follow the namechange.

Honestly, I don´t even see that the builds got much more basic during the time frame you mentioned. And in the end they have done several waves, and some where more complex than others - but as they are aiming at different target audiences, the style and complexity varies a lot within a wave. So if there are any builds I would agree on with the juniorization stuff - well it would be 4+ models, which of course are needed to be easier to build.

Wouldn´t that be just another reason to have a list, so people can check what certain tags were awarded for? I mean, sure maybe it wouldn´t be possible to track all of them down, especially if some were just created to be awarded for a single member. But as far as I understood some were also awarded for certain events and such and are also more common to see in the forum. Personally, like @SpacePolice89 I´ve been wondering about the origin of some of them while browsing the forum quite often. ;).

Exactly this. And I couldn´t even say this time had better designs than that, since when I look at the models, there are some Sets from the past I like better compared to new ones and some newer ones that look better to me than older ones. Personally I don´t like the new colour sheme of the ambulance series and the one they used before looks much better to me - while the older model posted here has other issues in comparism, especially the angular front. But in the end the older colour sheme is the one I grew up with, so that might be part of the reason why I prefer that one - but it also is closer to real live ambulances here and overall to me Dark Turquoise is a strange choice for it anyways.

Yeah, Also a lot Dinos exist in Lego "form" because they were designed to include them in the Lego Jurassic Video games, so reusing existing material is pretty easy IMO. And probably they have plenty of unused designs from concepts for Sets that didn´t make it into production anyways.

It is pretty much up to your own taste whether it is better or worse though. What you see as a downgrade might be a improvement to someone else. And personally I especially couldn´t agree that recent Set quality went down, we got great Safari Sets and last/this years Space wave was great too - the construction Sets were really well made and the Lego Truck is very nice too - now of course that is my personal opinion about them, but overall I would actually say that the last years were some of the best for the theme.

I´d actually more thought about just the head used as decorative element to represent the faction, than an actual built horse. Eitherway I am still not to sure if I would expect the piece to show up in the set.I mean in the end it would be used exactly as a horse head decoration, and not exactly as part to built something else. Not saying they can´t do it, but I would still be surprised if they would. Anyways I could see it work well as either a Stone Element or End of a Timber Beam.

Should be the same piece, just in an unprinted version. However I am not sure, if that piece wouldn´t be a bit to special to be used in the creator theme..

Well they did the rococo Lady not that long ago, so I don´t see why they couldn´t do something similar.

I hope not. Chaos Theory could get more Sets next year while it is unlikely we will get more Sets for this movie after this year.

So we are getting another set without (moulded) Dinosaur it seems. Wondering what it will be since we already got a buildable Dino and a Skull, and I don´t really think we will get a second of either.

I am not sure if Lego would do this in the first place, but I wouldn´t say that it fits in a castle Series anyways.
